I was a flight attendant and Richard was on one of my flights from Philadelphia to LA one time, I'll never forget it! He asked me if he could hand out the peanuts before our beverage service and of course I said sure! The passengers loved him and so did we! What a fun flight we had with sweet Richard aboard!!! RIP Richard! XO

My mom struggled with weight issues but she was a fan of Richard Simmons. I remembered she ordered his VHS tape set and would work out and would ask me to join. She would be yelling at the tv: “Ok Richard we are working it out today!” We would have so much fun! My mom inspired me to stay healthy. She passed away in 2022. Richard Simmons was truly an inspiration for many!

I get the impression that he was rarely actually fit, and was always kind of a chubby. I think that's because at the drop of a hat, based on what I've heard him for quotes, he'd start in with binging deserts or pastries, or whatever. You'd never actually see him with a tucked in shirt. It was always kind of loose fitting stuff he'd wear. But even for loose fitting clothes you can generally tell if a guy is lean or not. I'm thinking his eating habits eventually kind of brought him down. Probably hurting his leg was more effect not cause. Lots of concealing going on with all this, thus the speculating.

No speculation, when clearly there's a lack of answers and probably concealment of the facts? None of what I said above is unreasonable. Just because I make reasonable assertions doesn't mean I don't see the good in someone either. He's not my hero or anything like that, but I don't claim he didn't do any good for some people.

Richard Simmons was the astrological sign of Cancer ♋ -- the energy of the mother, the child, and nurturing. It seems that he, his housekeeper, and their relationship manifested those energies in various non-conventional ways. 💜

It had been my lifelong dream to meet Richard . I really wanted him to know what an impact he’d had on my life. It was his laughter, joy and genuine love for others that helped me get through the death of my baby girl. Everyday at 12 o clock, I turned on his show. For that brief time period, I felt like somebody truly cared. I really wanted him to know just how much his kindness affected me and so many others. Now, I’ll never get that chance. Probably wouldn’t have gotten it anyway. But, I prayed for him all of the time. I hope that he was a Christian . ❤

I used to go to his exercise studio in Beverly Hills, long time ago. He was so wonderful to everyone and so much fun. His life mattered.

Um...I remember Richard's exercise TV show starting in the 1970s--not the 1980s. MANY blessings and MUCH love and thanks to him for helping so many people! Fly high, beautiful soul!
