I have had two different sony model headunits in my car that both turned on and off with the ignition, i am currently waiting on one of these headunits to arrive, would i be right in thinking if the previous two headunits both turned on and off with the ignition this should also.
Hi..my similar JVC car stereo..the radio clock doesnt set up...every time i start the car the clock goes back to square one...RDS clock sync disabling also not helping...is it some problem with change of connections??
hi pj. complete novice here... I have tried to install this unit by kenwood into my peugeot 107. I used the tutorial you did on double din application for an aygo. now when you pop on the two cables that power into the kenwood I haven't used an iso connector as both cables fit the kenwood. (remember I'm totally new to this) I have power running to it... and all seems great but it won't hold the memory on the kenwood. so now it goes back to factory settings every time I turn on and off the ignition. is this a case of swapping the black and yello power connectors around in the back of the kenwood?? many thanks. if it wasn't for covid I wouldn't be trying to do this so thanks for the videos you pop on RUclips. been a lifesaver!!
You need a PC2-36-04 that basicly swaps the two power feeds to the radio around. Don't cut the cars wiring loom incase you end up sending power down the earth cable. Try Ebay item number 362923142459

I did red to red... yellow to yellow. hooked it all up. but the radio still looses it's settings. any suggestions before I beg halfords for assistance via distance?

Re the parking brake switch and screen going off until stationary. Can you not select radio stations, input, tracks and volume etc? Sorry for silly question. I always thought the menu was always On.
none of these reviews show screen mirroring, I was thinking of buying one till I read the reviews on amazon. The screen mirroring dosen't work properly,and it keeps freezing, the pioneer around the same price is the same.
Im planning to do something similar to my nissan almera 2006 just that this one in the video is too big, i have found something else that i think would work

This radio was made three years ago, I don’t know if they are still on sale but would certainly be discontinued by Kenwood. Having seen a few of the Chinese set ups I would personally stay with a branded install.
Wtf it doesn’t come with the harness that goes into the back of the head unit? When did they start doing this?? Is that just a uk thing? I would be sooo pissed, I’ve never had a car with that ISO factory connector… Kenwood should really re think this because most people aren’t putting these in new cars that already all have screens and im definitely going with the pioneer one if that’s true… end up being the same cost if I need to buy an extra harness with this ish
Sounds like you have a Peugeot, Citroen, Audi or VW if so buy a iso cable that switches A the two power feed round. You need ignition switched and constant power switch with each other.
how do i connect my iphone for mirroring? i’ve done everything the internet says, apart from when i go to my bluetooth settings i don’t get the option to turn mirroring on?
It only works with android screen mirroring, not iPhone sadly. Try plugging it in with the usb. That should work but as I use android can't guarantee it. Worth a try
Glass antenna are always crappy, add in heated windows and you will have reception problems as you found out. Fit a body muted antenna and you'll get way better reception. The glass ones are crappy and cheap to make, thus why you get them for free

Can you tell me if I can change the led's color? I have seen a photo and the default color seems blue.

Sounds like you have a Peugeot, Citroen, Audi or VW if so buy a iso cable that switches
