I don’t normally watch true crime drama, but I did watched Unbelievable during the first year of the Covid-19 Pandemic and man it was intense yet phenomenal.
Mindhunter is one of my favorite shows. I hate it didn’t get a 3rd season.
Same. It felt unfinished, especially after building up BTK so much.

Facts pissed me off so much cuz the end of season 2 btk killer was shown as if he’s gonna be the third season character…great show and portrayed all the serial killers so good

2022 is the year of the True Crime Drama. I've watched several this year alone, but my favourites have to be either "The Dropout" or "The Girl from Plainville", mainly due to how well Amanda Seyfried and Elle Fanning disappeared into their roles.

It’s unbelievable that Unbelievable was just an honorable mention. It was brilliantly written and acted. And riveting.
Seeing how people cheered for Anna Delvey aka Anna Sorokin even though she showed no remorse and said she'd do everything all over again if she can just shoes how stupid people can be.
My favorites are "The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story," and "Unbelievable."
Speaking of "Unbelievable," why didn't it make it onto the main list? And it seems to me that "Chernobyl," is more of a disaster drama than a crime series. "Unbelievable," could have (and should have) been put in that slot instead.
"When They See Us," makes my blood boil because of the injustice committed against those five people. To be honest, I still haven't finished the series. I don't know if I ever will. I'm not sure my blood pressure could take it.

Paul Bettany's portrayal of the Unabomber doesn't even get a mention. Dang.
I really wished Unbelievable would’ve made the list. Great but one of those shows you can only watch once cause it’s pretty hard to watch the first time. If that makes sense.

Unbelievable was, far and away, the absolute best true crime drama of last 2 decades. That you have recognized it makes me suspect re the entire list .

So many amazing true crime shows lately. Here are some of my favorites: the dropout, Ana Delvy story, the thing about Pam, the shrink next door and Candy. We have A list actors in a lot of these.

The 80s television movie about Betty Broderick played by Meredith Baxter is so good they made two parts.

My uncle went to high school with the surgeon Dr. Death is based off of, and it was so weird watching that together and knowing some of the characters real life counter parts.
I think Alias Grace at least deserved an honorable mention on this list.
I'm surprised that "Dopesick" didn't make the list or even an honorable mention.
Unbelievable, Inventing Anna and The Dropout were my favorites.
The fyre fest and tinder swindler and bad vegan and the Abercrombie docuseries were also a good watch 👌🏼👌🏼

Manhunt Unabomber was one of my favourites. Not sure it qualifies as true crime with the dramatization.
My faves are the American crime series, Chernobyl/when They see us /narcos/ mindhunter

I truly don't understand how Dr death didn't make the top 10. This is probably one of the best series of its kind.

Not many people appreciate it because they felt the show was making fun of the very real events
I can't help but think most people who love true crime mini-series also complain about murderers on the news when they're named and notarized. It feels hypocritical.
As a true crime fanatic I knew 7/10 of the real crime stories. Haven't watched any of the series yet
Amanda Seyfried had better win an Emmy or Golden Globe for her portrayal of Elizabeth Holmes as it was so freakily realistic that watching her made me feel as creeped out & disturbed as the real Elizabeth Holmes.
The next best, IMO, is Dr. Death.... the things he was allowed to do really shows that patients are the last thing on the concern of most hospital but the lack of remorse from each for passing the buck to the next is, in ways, just as remorseless as his actions.
The one problem I will always have with how the Central Park Five's incarceration is that nothing they went through in any way compares to the true victim of that night, the woman who was raped & nearly died. Let's not forget her.
