Heze and Hosanna show a maturity in their young years with patience, love and understanding for their younger siblings. Love that all the children have their own particular personality trait, that is different, so they are endearing in their own way and that makes it hard to have a preference. Love your children gir who they are is my opinion. Nurture the good qualities and tame and change the not so good. That is why I like this family they take their Q from each and every child even if they are not aware themselves. A family that grows together stays together.👌🏽

I am the third child and an unwanted child, that my father never let me forget. I knew this from very early on because he made sure I did. The first time my father ever gave me a kiss was the day I got married and that was only for show. Some people do not realize how something like that hurts a child and I had no idea how many ways it would affect me in my life and to this day. I love the love that is shown to your children and the closeness of your family and I do not think anyone could ever fault you for having a favorite. We should all be products of a family like yours because there are little children who do not know what a hug, kiss, or a kind word feels like. Tim, the way you compliment Ella is something I have never felt in marriage and now in my 70's, never will. You are a family I love being a part of. 💚💛🧡💜💚💛🧡💜

I think In the olden days love was shown different. Sometimes the favorite is the one that the parents are the hardest on. No parent is perfect. Sometimes it’s hard to show love if you’ve never learnt it.
Harper was so loving to baby Houston. Precious to see. And yes, I often comment on how Hosana is. I pray that her heart is always comforted. Love all of your children. So beautiful!
Hosanna really does help out alot though! They all do but she really does. Aww when Halle sighed tho, bless her she's such a great kid, just trying to get some credit, but still so polite & respectful, love her. Such well-behaved kids. Parenting 💯💕

I think you have succeeded as a parent if you let every child feel that particularly HE or SHE is the favourite one.

No, I don't think parents should have favorites although, some do. I feel most parents can be partial to each child because they have certain qualities that they like. They key is to make them all feel special as Ella and Tim seem to do so well.

Heze has so much wisdom for his age. As I was growing up, I always felt left out. We had a a sister that had seizures & was a little slow & got quite a lot of attention & was very spoiled. Even being a twin I was the one to watch out for my sisters. I love watching your family & the love you truly have for the Lord & for each other.
Very intelligent children! Halle has made leaps...all of the children have. But since you started the channel, the biggest social development has come from Halle & Harper. Hosanna and Heze were already impressive at their respective ages. Now we get to see Harper & Halle the age of Hosanna during the onset, and they are all so amazing! Reu slays me often. I don't know what to say about that kid but: OH MY DAYS! 😂😂😂
I remember early back in your history, you guys were dining at Subway I think, and Halle's order was "cucumber and ham" and I thought, this young lady has an air of sophistication about her (quite high brow). You guys agreed that was your Halle. So not surprised that she's full emerging into herself as a sophisticated proper young lady.
No, I didn't have an imaginary friend. It was hard enough to trying to find a space all to myself...which was usually my closet LOL if I wanted to write in my journal.
I don't think it is good for children's self-esteem to express another is the favorite. They are all special and I think it is important that each one has their needs met, and is allowed to be validated for their special qualities.

It not fair to the other children to have a favorite child. There are children that need more attention, maybe even a child with whom it's easier to deal with and it can appear that they are favorites but it's the parent's responsibility to love them all equally, after all they are your loves! 💖

I’m the middle child of 5 total. I can honestly say that I have never gotten much “shine” or paid attention to, growing up. I don’t think having a favorite is intentional but It does happen if parents are not consciously aware of their actions and attentiveness. Blessing to both of you, as parents, who constantly pay attention. I’m so happy to see that each of your children are equally yoked and that they all get an equal share of attention.

When my daughter was 2 years old she had a imaginary friend a boy called justin he traveled with us everywhere hahaha the "friend" stayed with us until she turned around 4 years old!
