I never understood why that made Hollywood mock her... She was quoting from one of her great movies. Am old now and can't remember which one, but it was endearing how she quoted it. I rather feel it might been in the movie she was acknowledged for. It wasn't silly, but charming....

I love Sally Field. She is an actress I have admired since I first saw her in the television series Gidget. She and I were both born in the month of November. I was on the 1st and she on the 6th however, she was born in 1946 and I didn't come along until 1949. I believe we have some more things in common like our height and our weight. I'm 4' 11" tall and I weigh 100 pounds. But I think that's where our similarities stop for I am not as outgoing as Sally nor have I raised 3 sons. I consider Sally a sister from another mister and hope that someday I could have the opportunity to meet her in person. Best wishes, Sally. Keep on doing exactly what you have been doing. You are amazing.

Ah Sally Field, sigh. What memories I have of her growing up. She was an inspiration and I would intensely watch her facial expressions in her films and TV shows. Norma Rea, Sybil, The Girl with Something Extra comes to mind as well as The Flying Nun. I've always viewed her as the real deal, professional, nothing fake, a role model for us girl next door types. Also, I just LOVED how she stood up for her son and his choices. When she dropped the "F" word during her speech the timing was perfect and got her point across. Sally Field is a class act, nuthin but love for her, nuff said! 😊 ❤

Sally Fields is a super star and we are the same age. Life has its ups and downs and it is definitely not for the weak. Many people are negatively controlled by others and more are women, but men can also be victims of this abuse. I can identify with what she felt for Burt Reynolds and the regrets she later suffered. We can never erase the past but we can build a better future.
Some of us are granted forgiveness from those we love like are children and others suffer in agony for years and must let go of that cruel past and forgive our weaknesses and move on. God Bless Sally Fields! Not only a great actress but also a leader in how to overcome some of the bad decisions made when young. No one lives life without mistakes so we must first forgive ourselves and write a new and beautiful chapter in the following years.

He regretted his marriage. Loni was so high maintenance. But he laid out the divorce paper suddenly one night. The ranch was premarital property. She quickly got on a flight to LA with her son. She was photographed with a cowboy hat barely concealing her tears. Then The National Enquirer soon came out with photos of him and his mistress in a hot tub. I believe he was tipped off they were soon to be published. Speaking of their adopted son, that is a lot of distance. But she was happy to continue to include Burt in her child’s life.

Burt is also a murderer! He killed a man in Arizona in 1971 by clubbing him to death. Of course, the studio covered it up. When the case got re-opened in 2016, Burt was gonna face a murder charge, when he croaked.

I just love Sally Fields and everything she ever done since her TV shows Giget and The Flying Nun. I loved her performance in the many faces of a distraught woman that went through so much with her mentally -ill mother that it is a wonder she could provide insight on how she dealt with various personalities making her talent stand out and winning an Emmy. I'm happy for Sally and all her accolades since she deserved them for her work. She won one Emmy and two Oscars. Also, many nominations in various fields.

It could've been a great video about Sally Field if not for all the confusing pieces about other actors. I knew Reynolds could be a PITA but I had no idea how much of an insecure bully he was. To make Sally feel bad about herself, to minimize the extent of her incredible talent, goes to show how manipulative a narcissist can be. Gone is my respect for Burt Reynolds.

Loni Anderson has her own issues of self importance from all I’ve read published about her. It’s a shame, whether they are that way coming into the business or if the show business intensifies it or causes it, it destroys a lot of stars. There is lousy press about Johnny Carson, Marlon Brando, Daniel Day Lewis, Frank Sinatra , Chevy Chase, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, etc etc. the old Hollywood studios protected and hid things but when actors & actresses became more independent, things weren’t so easy to hide.
