understandable but hear me out, all the characters we are meeting along the way we are developing a bond with them, imagine one day the archons decide to take their livelyhoods and their world away from them and curse them into monsters we see now, and all you could do is helplessly watch as ur powerless to save them, you would also want revenge against the archons as well. aether built tht same bond with the people of khanria and witnessed the archons take away their homes and force them to suffer.
@@mishtrong killing the futui soldiers is very similar to soldiers killing soldiers, it's only bad from one side. Plus they will actively attack you even if you're just walking by so technically you can just not back down if they engage you or if your mission specifically says different. As for the abyss they are now monsters whom would attack innocents so I don't have sympathy regardless of what they were before

I personally think that Childe might as well be mihoyo's best character. I mean he has everything: a sad backstory, a goal which might get him killed but he's still fighting for it, he's misunderstood because of what he does for a living given to which he wasn't even the one who "applied" for the job in the first place, he's a big brother, a son, a comrade, a fighter, a warrior... His family is everything to him and he only wants to protect them while he's bonding with the traveler. I'm sorry but i refuse to believe anything else
