I have this hunch that Childe doesn’t want Teucer to end up like him. Childe had his childhood ruined ever since he fell into the Abyss. He doesn’t want that to happen to someone he cares.
Yeah, I'm surprised that he not talked about that and I started to wondering actually he would if it is in the game. He mentioned things about shattered dreams but not to say that that dream was his. He keep the whole thing in a mystery. Only referring to that someone needs to protect them and that person is he. So probably with this level of trust and friendship he wouldn't talk about that but later... It would be changed and they become a big help for each other.

Chelsea and I absolutely LOVE the complexities this ship bring to the table. While Chelsea leans a bit more on the "they're in love but can't be in a relationship bec they're enemies" table, I focus a little more on "they're so distant in years and experience and yet their ties towards family is what makes them so close." But at the end of the day, we also bond over our love over the fluff and angst in this ship. The first kisses and the pining. The solemn vows and shenanigans. My personal favorite is "They're friends now but how far beyond can they go with this? How far are they allowed to go with it?" ✨ 🐳

I really hated Tartaglia when I first met him in game, but after doing his story quest and seeing the other sides of him being not just a killing machine of the Fatui, I actually started to see him in a different light.
