@@PenniacWilderness I'm in Elma, Washington. West of the state capitol Olympia and out towards the coast.

First I’m always happy when an older video pops up that I can watch. Could just binge watch all of them but I enjoy your videos randomly popping up ! lol. Second I just punched in Penniac on maps and your not that far from Maine if you’re near the town of Penniac. We were just in Mt Chase Shin pond area this past weekend which is where my mom grew up as well as in Houlton. Still have family in Patten area and go up whenever we can. Love it up there !! Thanks for the video !

Hi Tony! Thanks for the message. Yes, I'm not far from Maine at all. I've an aunt and uncle in Perry, Maine not far from Calais. I hope to get back there soon. Baxter Park and Portland are two of my favourite places to visit. Would like to see more of northern Maine one day too. Hope you are doing well!

The bottom line is the mill is doing the job for you at the right price. I have a more expensive mill.....is it nice yes but in the end you have a board the same as mine. I just came across your channel and look forward to watching your build.

Thank you for the comment. The mill has been working well. There is a learning curve, like everything, and I continue to get a bit better with it as I use it more. What part of the world are you writing from?

@@PenniacWilderness Your welcome. My guess is you will make short work of that learning curve . You know I have a Kubota that I am guessing is close to the same vintage as yours, its a 3600 with no cab.... mind if I ask..is yours a factory cab? As for my part of the world .....lol well that depends on the time of yr it is ,right now I make the Upper peninsula of Michigan my home. If I am correct...a few miles west of you. Keep at it

@@coldspring624 a few miles west indeed. Even more kilometers ha. The cab on mine is aftermarket and it is called a Curtis Cab. It's nice for the most part. Doors are removable and the back window is plastic. I bought the tractor used and it came with it.

Standard bunks are kind of short. A 12 foot log should be a minimum. It needs more than one forcing holder? in the 10 6 inch length. I plan on making the bed longer and adding the holders myself home made. It is a much better designed saw than the crude Thomas mill I had years ago. I set mine up on a concrete pad. No desire to trailer it anywhere.
