I have to agree. I came to RUclips with only the Cmaj scale under my belt from 20 years ago. Max's videos (and his instructional PDFs) have taken me to where I am now.
It would be nice if you could take a very simple song with a lead sheet and show your followers how they can use these patterns with the progression on songs. It helps those struggling with trying to use rhythms like this on actual lead sheets and how to build up speed ....
Great idea for a future video, thanks! The idea with this one was to give folks a variety of fun, interesting chords and rhythms to try and learn from. The skills/techniques involved become transferrable and hopefully help people become more versatile and coordinated with the kinds of things they can play (most songs will vary the rhythms and patterns used through the song). It think it's really helpful to learn lots of different rhythms and patterns in exercises to build your vocabulary then eventually, new things become easier and easier to pick up quickly.
Hello! I’m a new subscriber to your channel here! Would love to see more rhythm patterns lessons. They are so helpful! Thanks for the very clear explanation and analysis of the pattern. Just wondering if you could also add in the “RH/LH/together” indication for future videos? (Something similar to the “5 MUST KNOW Piano Chord Rhythm Patterns For Beginners “ video that you had) It was very useful to follow. :)
This is great stuff, Max. After getting comfortable with the scales, this seems like the next step towards putting those fundamentals into a tangible musical direction. Keep up the great work!
New Subscriber🙋 i have a keyboard first time as well and i wanna start my journey from this, and im watching your first vid at the first lower so i will learn in every vids that i watch , Thanks Man🤙🔥
being ADHD and a bit of an asperger I never could understand how ppl play it until you broke it down so well. Now I can practice to learn it. I need to know ther mechanics of something to be able to play it
Would be very helpful if you named the notes played under the 1 e + a 2 e +a .... As it's hard to see which notes are played just looking at the video, thanks
Hey everyone! Great to be back! Lots of new videos ideas in the works, let me know here in the comments what videos want to see!
Happy to see a new video, this has always been the most helpful channel for me for learning.
Great to hear!

Very useful, thanks a lot! You have lots of great content for a beginner like me.
I can't guess the name of the song, but I'm pleased that you put out this video.

Great analysis of musical patterns!❤
Thank you, soooo helpful.
Thank you for the great lessons, Max! Learned a lot and will practice.
Have fun!
I like your style of explaining but wonder if it would help to see this information on a sheet of music?
Love it

The keyboard over the actual piano you teaching is a bit distracting.
