Wonderful. Exactly what I was looking for. 70 years old and just starting keyboards. I can do finger picking though, so that should help a lot.

Thanks Adam, very helpful to me. Quick note, as a drummer, I have to point out that I believe you are actually swinging the rhythm, the "and" is actually held slightly, possibly between straight and dotted.

Thanks Adam it’s great that you’re teaching piano rhythm. It’s the hardest thing to find on RUclips, and you do it so well. It would be great to hear how you would apply these to create a full arrangement for a
    song.

Yes, big +1 for @hongkongtennis's comment. I love these tutorials where you teach a technique to apply to a four-chord loop. But I'd really love to see this placed into the larger context of playing a complete song!

Thanks Adam another great video lesson. Struggling a bit with F chord over G ( love the sound though) my brain is telling me to play F in the bass. Is there any videos/exercises help change my mind set.

Thank you for this! Its hard to find more advanced chord progression & pattern tutorials without the tutorial person either speaking to a complete beginner, or using terminology that only a pro-jazz player expects to have.
I've grown up playing classical music, graduated with a piano performance degree, but can't play pop for the life of me. Whenever I search up tutorials, I either get tutorials that are way too beginner-friendly, or the RUclipsr is using way too difficult terms. You keep it simple, but fast and right to the point!

Thanks Adam for this tutorial on different rythm patterns! I usually see and listen videos on rythms , but they're quite difficult for my beginner level, and I struggle to coordinate both hands - 'cause there is too much happening on BOTH hands at the same time - but I already see and listen these patterns and I like how they sound!! I'll work on them to accompany ballad type of songs.

Thanks a million. Love this way of 'fast tracking' to real music. One request though (as a relative novice), could you take a moment to explain fingering as you go and also mark middle C either on the physical or virtual keyboard. I know it's really basic stuff, but I often struggle with these inverted sevenths to know where to move to. Thanks. Brilliant coaching. Mike of France.

And in pattern 5, I like playing an additional note, generally the lowest note, just before the arpeggio to give it an extra eighth note.
