As a master's level social worker and one who worked in the substance addiction field years ago, I thank you for posting these videos. So many lay people don't understand addiction is a behavioral issue, not a physical dependence issue (although a dopamine rush can be addicting - hence extreme sports). I had a client inform me about your channel and I'll be watching them along with the client and their partner as they watch them for homework. Big thumbs up for the power of group work, it's a beautiful thing to watch a group come together for support.

Especially in Brisbane Qld the support groups are still very limited I tried a group yrs ago but all they did was visualise their slips and the last thing I needed was to visualise the next door neighbour or such things

So liberate to call it addiction... Because its addiction otherwise you would stop anytime
