I find it worse that she never knew he tried so hard to come to her and she died without having a clue even though she was walking around with Cloud the whole time and he knew what happened to him... She died thinking that he had found another girl
Stupid Shinra had to get involved. Zack just wanted to see Aerith!
@@selcandemir9830 I'm pretty sure deep down she knew he had died, and tried to go to her. It looked like Aerith felt him dying, the shock and sadness in her expression. She either suppressed the knowledge, or lied to herself. It's so depressing.
That's why the end of Advent children makes me ugly cry every single time (it's also my favorite movie, bc I view the emotional story that goes on behind the flashy scenes as the real story with a flashy coat of paint.)
I'm also hoping so bad that the remake trilogy will finally let them find each other, and fully redeem all of their rollercoaster of an arch, this will 100% make my heart explode so hard I seriously think I'll be taking a vacation, but it will be so worth it.
Here's to hoping Square Enix will go and do these changes and that they won't let fear of a part of the community stop them, cause I think they get one chance to really give every character the ultimate care and wrap their stories in a wholesome final-to-all-time bang up way and I really want them to take this opportunity to the max potential

Aerith and Zack are truly soulmates, I can't believe some that play the OG refuse to see this as canon. The remake really portray those feelings well. She could never forget him, though she tries to move on he will always have a place in her heart.
Aerith to Cloud: "You can't fall in love with me"
Could be a reference to her death, but now I think it's because Zack will finally get back to her.
I think it's cuz people like the aerith and cloud relationship, like me, but for me, I'm not worried about relationships, although Zack, cloud and aerith relationship is sorta important since that's based with oart if clouds backstory, connecting to them
We just have to realise they like it for the same reasons we kile zerith. And nothing is set in stone so let us not waste our time my follow zerith fans. Let us love, not fight. Let's just wait for the game to prove it in the ending

I heart this so damn much, but thank you for breaking my heart. After 89 letters and 5 years Aerith needs to know what happened, and to know that Zack never abandoned her. I hope we get that in the remake, and given that Aerith and Zack appear to sense each other through their timelines gives me hope that we will.

Just watched this and had to comment on how beautiful it is. This is one of my favorite couples ever, their love story was so pure and tragic. The remake reignited my love for these two and your video is absolutely gorgeous. Also, the song you chose fits them perfectly

Hell YES. My heart is divided because this war and I ended a Clerith (because I don't really care so much) and a Zifa. Clerith says Aerith moves on with Cloud, and I really hate how he traits Tifa after all the things she did for him... So I hope Zack is alive and moves on to Tifa. But if Zack is alive and returns to Aerith and Cloud could save her this time and then live happy with Tifa, it will be ok for me too.
I hate the shipping war so much because, at the end of the day, all of them deserve to be happy and that is what I really want. I don't care no more what couple is canon. I enjoy all of them.

@@justashumaiko5818 It doesn't really make any sense shipping Zack & Tifa. I think that ship was created by rabid Clerith fans so they could move on with Cloud & Aerith. Hopefully Nomura & Nojima would finally end this Remake Project with a canon ending and not an ambigious one again.

@@justashumaiko5818 yeah, me too. First of all I am a Cloti fan. All of my life. But all the hate to Tifa and Zack make me doubt about my thoughts and my reasons for why I shipp Cloti a few days ago, when I wrote that. But after reading a lot of opinions and more important, after rewatching all the compilation again, I regain my confidence on what is canon despite what you prefer. Now, I simply block hater Clerith fans.
Zack and Tifa are for me a headcanon with so many posibilities if things happen diferent now, but of course, if you look at them in the game, you don't have any clue about them being a posible couple.
I respect Clerith because I can understand why they shipp them... But Aerith herself, when she is thinking about Cloud in Lifestream... It's Zack who appears because it's him who fits in her mind. Still, you can prefer Cloud and Aerith and it's ok. What I can't take is all this hate on Tifa and Zack. C'mon I love Sephiroth and Rufus and the Turks too. I wish people stop hating characters because of their shipp and acept the story the way it is and ship what they want without changing facts or lying about the story and make people like me, who aren't very confident, feel bad about the way we see this wonderful story. At least, I found a lot of people who thinks the same like me so I feel more confident now about this Cloti vs Clerith triangle.
In my case, Clerith never was a real option, only an illusion like a cute Disney love. That doesn't make them less true, it's just they only have a few weeks and you can't take them as a "true forever love" seriously... Real relationship requires A LOT MORE and have ups and downs... Like Cloti. The only reason I have to actually acept and ship Clerith it's just to not argue with people and evade conflicts... So now, I press the block button and the war ends 😊
After FFVII Remake release, I had a very bad weeks thinking about all of them and their relationships. I passed trough a lot of phases: first (of course) Cloti, then I remembered ACC and turn Clerith because my fav character is Tifa and I want her happily, then I rewatch Crisis Core and go again Cloti and Zifa headcanon because I love Zack too, then I read the novels again and watch ACC without forcing myself into one or another couple... I ended Cloti/Zerith again 😅 I learnt that this game is just so important to many people and debate with them, in my case, makes me feel bad and sad and less confident in myself.
The remake did Zack dirty. His lines just don't carry the same weight as Crisis Core.

Your choices for Aerith's dialogue flowed very well as the intonation when she was older just sounded like the natural aging from 17 to 22. *Also very much appreciated that all of Rick Gomez's voice acting was used for Zack* Your video highlights the emotional beats and narrative parallels, and just shows how much their lives are woven together. The building emotion and musical accompaniment at the end just strikes the heart. Fantastically concluded, you can be very proud of this.

i don't usually comment on youtube but this video compelled me to do so..i've only encountered the world of Final Fantasy 7 by watching ACC wayback 2012 when i was in highschool..and fell in love with the characters (even though i didn't understand half of the story😅) watching the Remake and CC cutscenes did i understood most of its story(not a game player😅) and ever since then

This makes Zack’s death 10 times sad. He went all this way to see Aerith but right before they were going to be in Midgar the stupid shinra soldiers had to get in the way. I just hope Nomura will be kind to us and let the couple live happily ever after but I doubt that will happen because then that will change the rest of the FF7 story.
