Hello! This is one of my favorite songs and I've wanted to do a Clerith video with this song for the longest time.
The story behind this is that it's from Cloud's point of view and his experiences with grief. Cloud ends up losing his grip on reality as he's haunted by memories of Aerith's death and his own guilt. He starts to reflect back on the time they first met and wonders what he could have done different (should they have not met) to avoid the heartbreak. He then realizes it's inevitable because all of their moments have made him the happiest he's ever been. At the end of the video, Cloud is shown to still be hallucinating and Aerith manages to snap him out of it.

I love how Aerith keeps reaching out for Cloud. It’s sad yet beautiful.
I don't know much about this game and story I just started watching it on you tube but I can tell this twoo are absolutly adorable together and theyre chemistry is beautiful love them.

"I've been searching for a trail to follow again" - Advent children, Cloud was a bit lost without her
"I don't know what I'm supposed to do
, haunted by the ghost of you" - Cloud was always haunted by her death, he saw her in the church again in the original if you went back, and of course, Advent Children.
"When you had not touched me yet" - Before Aerith touched him, Cloud couldn't see the Whispers in the Remake and everything was different.
"Take me back to the night we met" - Before her death, before she no longer could laugh, cry or scold him. Before Cloud lost her.
It's so perfect in every way for them.

These two are soulmates even after her death they always have this 'connection' yknow that made their story more bitter-sweet.
Yet people still try to say that once he got his true memories back, he didn't love aerith anymore. I haven't seen/played the og but from the remake alone, I can agree wholeheartedly. These two are meant for each other. Especially with the fact that he finds he can allow himself to be "nicer" around her. He allows himself to want to high five, gets blown away by her red dress, and basically does everything she says. And she even reminded him of (what I have heard is) a real memory of his mom saying he should be with a girl and then basically describing aerith
Would you believe me if I say FOR THE 1ST TIME I SAW CLOUD and AERITH video in yt accidentally and them seeing 2gtr for the 1st time in wallmarket There was something frm me that IGNITE a LOVED nor SPARK frm them...
_ telling this bcoz I only read ppl yet idk how an ART telling me that they have something for EACH OTHER.. Not after I understand the whole story realise YEAH IT'S REALLY THEM WHO ARE DESTINED FOR EACH OTHER. even CAI SITH as a character who read their star sign is already proof that my INTUITION IS RIGHT... .. Yeah CLOUD and AERITH are really soulmate.

Even if Cloud eventually healed and moved on from her death, I don't think he'd ever pass up the chance to change her fate. Remake is definitely going to shake things up even more as it goes on.
I will never ever regret following these two around. I am not a gamer, and I know nothing about RPGs. But I'm glad I stumbled upon Aerith. And now, I'm a certified ClErith fan. Their chemistry and interactions are really just engaging.

Beautiful! And let’s appreciate that the PS4 real time graphics of Cloud and Aerith of 2020 outperforms the CGI graphics of the Advent Children film made in 2005! It’s amazing how technology has progressed! Can’t wait for remake part 2!
Loved this music video for Aerith And Cloud. I swear if she dies in the Remake i am going to break my controller. I fell in love with her and don't want to see her die.

I think if she dies, it will be at he end of the trilogy, and she will die alongside Cloud. They will be reunited. Whether in Costal del Sol or in the Promised Land, I still don't know. But reunited for sure. I don't see the tragedy from OG and AC happening again, it would make the whole Remake project pretty pointless.
This has me about to cry. One of the greatest, most sorrowful songs I've ever heard paired with the most beautiful OTP I've had for years is just overwhelming for me. This is such a well done gmv. I love it!
I'd be stunned if anyone reads this, being two years old. But I remember when I was a boy. Very lonely. Very unloved.
And I'd dive into stories, like this one. And suddenly there was this girl. She was brave and joyous. Strong and still kind. She was equal parts sass and Saint. There was something indescribably pure about her.
In her, that little boy found everything he wanted. Everything he needed. Something good.
And then he watched her die.
When you are that emotionally invested in a story because you have to be if you're going to escape a unbearable reality, and that happens: it marks you. Childhood had never been an idyllic period but that night, when she died, I think that the last bit of innocence went with her.
And to this day, there's still a hole in my heart: where some young, half crazy child fell in love. And came to understand grief. And loss. And the pain of a process we all call: "growing up"
I just want them to have a happy ending! 🥺😭

They have found their missing pieces, but sadly, in the og, they did have the happy ending, i was crying. But i hope in this remake, i will cry not because of the sad Ending like the og version but because of the ending that they deserve !!!
