    I made a card like the string of lights to send to the family who decorates their lawn EVERY YEAR thank them for doing that and giving enjoyment to everyone who goes by their house! I googled their address to get their name but it wouldn’t come up, so I addressed it to “The Keepers of the Lights” then the address. Their lawn is amazingly decorated!!!

      Jan Armstrong you could trace a template to lightly trace the image to your card stock and then water color with what inks you have.

    Mayday, Love your tulip card. You amaze me with your talent. I'm new to card making. I'm so happy I found you.Question, do you have to only use watercolor paper if you use a stamp? Do you buy the water color paper in the painting section or is it regular card stock? Thanks

    • @ottersln
      @ottersln 7 лет назад +2

      Barbara Morgan I would use what I have. When I use a heavy weight card stock 80 - 110# the watercolor technique is not an issue. If you are learning the technique I would use what paper you have. If your card stock is a lighter weight use less water and let it dry. It will always dry lighter. Water color paper is generally sold in the art supply area but not always. I purchased my first pad with a coupon to play with. I buy Cason mostly but have picked up some other brands and been satisfied with them. The best part is to not stress over it and have fun.

    ok u made a small mess there's my problem I get me and my card in it and rats I mess up a nice card

    • @ottersln
      @ottersln 7 лет назад

      Jeanne Luddeni it's just paper and its double sided, so you get a 2nd chance on ever card front! Love that about good paper. 🙂 I too struggled with the perfection issue a long time ago, but have learned to use embellishments to cover up my oppsidaisies or I will keep it and then sometimes use a cut out of something that did turn out to my liking on another card/project. If nothing else it's a great practice session and if you have fun and enjoy the process it's so worth the cost of the paper.
