I used to repair TVs, and the CRT sets from the late 80s into the 90s had some really good speakers, and most were 8 ohms which made them compatible with most amplifiers.

Actually, i can connect a 2 ohm loudspeaker to my amplifier too, and a 25 ohm loudspeaker also. They doesn't do anything to my amp, not even causing the amp the heat up like crazy. They are just take only the half of the real power from the amplifier.

No, sorry. I already have a better Sony subwoofer at home, similar to this but with a bigger and beefier driver
