Starset sets so many bars high its ridiculous. They can pull out so many cool sounds and melodies together, and adding in BB made this even so much better. Starset has been an amazing adventure for me.
These two bands just made love to my ear holes, and I am NOT mad about it lol I’ve loved Breaking Benjamin since I was in high school. They’re one of my favorite bands EVER. And I’ve never heard of Starset, but boy… they made a beautiful baby!!!! Great reaction.
Starset is a fantastic experience to listen to and see live. Watch a video of a live performance of theirs and you'll see what I mean. My Demons is how I was introduced to them, but they have many great songs. Telescope is another one, if you want to dive a little. :)
You should definitely give them a listen! If you can, start with the first album and go from there so you can hear the progression of the music and singing style.

Richochet, Everglow and Other Worlds Than These are my absolute faves, but My Demons, Carnivore, Frequency and Perfect Machine are all bangers. I got to see starset the very first time they came to Chicago before Transmissions even came out and I've been to almost every show in Chicago for them since. Also when they were touring with BB there was a show where there was no other openers and they each just did a full album play. It was amazing
I saw them together last year with Lacey Sturm and it was AMAZING!!!!!! BB is my all time fav band, I just saw them two weeks ago at a live acoustic show, and that was my 3rd time seeing them in a year! 💜💜🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🎸🎸

This video made me really happy, I’m obsessed with BB and starset so when they did a collaboration, I knew it would be a whole other experience I’d recommend reacting to Symbiotic, Earthrise, manifest, echo, my demons, infected… but not in that order lol! I saw Breaking Benjamin as they were touring their first album Saturate in 2002. Smaller venue, maybe 200. Funny reflecting on the days where everyone was living in the moment without a phone in their hands. I always knew they would be a big band. Still one of my favorite rock albums.to this day.

One thing I noticed in this track is, during Starsets verse, it is very orchestral and atmospheric. Typical with their sound. During BB’s verse it’s more drum and guitar and more in the vein of their sound. And in the chorus and bridge their sounds come together. Might be on to nothing but that’s what I noticed. Thought it was a cool way to integrate their sounds.
