quick question. at 0:23 is a picture of the steering elbow and rudder blade. I'm on need of a new rudder blade and before I order it online does it come with the 2 bolts to install it? I hope I can get an answer quick! thanks
I have no idea, I never had to work on this boat. I bought it new. If it does not come with the nuts and bolts, you should have no trouble buying these parts at your local hardware store. If you have to buy parts, buy stainless steel. Buy locking nuts with nylon inserts. This type of nut does not have to be tight to hold firmly. If you leave the nut a little loose the rudder can move up and down freely. If you hit something ( a branch or rock, etc.) your rudder can move and not break. Not to worry, my friend, you should have no problem.
it should stay flipped over. not a big deal if it does not. the boat would probably take years to fill with rain water. the drain is well above water line. the plug has a keeper on it so you should not lose it. see what happens over time. not to worry, my friend. no real emergency.

If you use your padel boat in salt water ,rinse it off real good and take the drive apart and lubricate it before putting it away after the summer season.i have one i bought second handthat has ceased up because it was used in salt water and never cared for...it's a pain in Canada to get the parts as well.

Maybe there is a crack in the plastic. Cracks can be very small and hard to identify. I would not recommend leaving this type of boat in the water. I would take it out of the water and turn it upside down.

the plastic boats should be ok in saltwater. They are slow and more suited to small lakes.
