Just played a game where I ended up with a double Vulcan, pre-igniter, and then a Flak 2 dropped right before flagship. Vulcan is the best weapon for stage 2.
i just had a run i thought would turn into a dream run, on the crystal a ship by sector 4 i had picked up 1 vulcan and 3 auto-reloaders, i was hoping i'd find a second vulcan to just go full ridiculous firerate, but alas, it never came. i did however get a pretty legit defensive setup instead, lvl 3 cloaking and hacking, anti-drone drone and defense 2 drone hardly anything ever got through to hit me
Love your videos, very well edited! What a great run. It's inefficient to keep buying and selling weapons, you lose so much scrap that way. Each time you set yourself back 50%. It's better just to hang onto your scrap and upgrade systems, unless you see a really really good weapon. Keeping rock plating instead of the free scrap recovery arm in sector two.. 😵

Is the vulcun not a good weapon on higher difficulties? I loved using it the other day but that was on easy mode lol
Yeah it's pretty bad, needs lots of attention and takes up half of your entire weapon build
