I am having trouble at the end of this pattern. I am busty and plus size so I had to add an extra row and column of squares (9 sq around, 3 rows long), so now the back doesn't line up because there are 5 squares in the front and 4 in the back. If I skip the middle u-shaped square up top, do you think it would still work with two triangle shapes and a more racerback style design?
You have 9 squares around. Two of them go to underarms parts - without any u-square shape or half squares under them. Now, you have 7 squares. 3 go to the front part, 4 go to the back part. You shouldn’t skip the middle u-shaped square. Just add one more u-shaped square between 2 half squares. It will look like this: Right underarm square (don’t cover it, just skip) -> front part - half square, u-square, half square, left underarm square (don’t cover it, just skip), -> back part - half square, 2 u-squares, half square. Total: 9 squares
