I still couldn't understand some things. Why she kept touching her hair while looking at the policeman, why she didn't escape in the mall when she had 6 minutes. Why she kept doing what she was doing knowing he's out there and she was walking freely without a fear

Apart of it is Stockholm syndrome, and also that he murdered his own brother in front of her and made her hide him in the walls. She most like had it deeply driven in her head that if she even tried he could find her and do the same if not worse.

With the policeman, she probably felt attracted to him as the one who was more understanding and sympathetic towards her.
