Wow V200 HOT, as I live and breath ❤ brooklyns own car and probably the most important focus ever made, ex press car and RS demonstrator. Featured on the front cover of CAR and EVO magazine back in the day among TV appearances, very significant car and as you say one of one. There was a white one too I believe but this was the special one ☝️ As an old school Redditch boy racer I used to see the guys wife driving round doing the shopping in this regularly, story was it was owned by the director of Brooklyn motorsport and his wife used it as a daily. Always wondered what happened to it, waking up this morning and seeing this was like bumping into an old friend 😊
@Turboderry when i at Battens drive a black T230 Focus was there ,Tiff Needle used to test it ,it was on Belguim plates tyres came back ruined from ragging it.
V200 HOT......i drove that car when it was brand new when i worked at brooklyn, they had a black T230 as well, both cars were featured on top gear and were driven by tiff nedell, andy fisher did the conversions on all of those cars, once the conversion was done the guys from mountune came to brooklyn to set them up.......the brooklyn sticker in the rear window was applied by me! .........that car brings back some memories.
Good to see this car again bro 👀 I've been lucky enough to have a blast of this car!! Back in the day working at a Ford dealer this car visited us as a demo!! Typical me blagged a drive, went well for a Focus..considering at the time there was no ST and no RS versions!! Seriously cool and rare car! Awesome!! Rip David.
Great video. .. it’s thing like this just watching and listening to this made me reflect on life . When you die the value you put on your hobbies, possessions, and just general stuff never really attains what you think it should be .. I wonder if he is looking down shouting instructions as to how to handle the car ,interesting stories he may have had about it the memories he had ! I’m sure his proudest moment was actually owning and driving this rare vehicle.full of joy every time a head was turned as he passed unassuming spectators going about there day. Life really is short RIP dude your car will live on in your memory💙
This T190 is 001 and the last of 3 in existence. Must be worth a few quid. Would love to see this up and running and hear this turbo chatter from it’s atmospheric dump valve. Great video Stokze 😎
Great video. Hopefully we’ll get to see it up & running sometime 👍🏼😁 Somewhere in my possession I have some photos sent to me by a mate of mine when he worked at Ford’s M-Sport facility in Cumbria in the late 90s. The photos are of two rare road-going Focus WRC cars. I wonder where they are now 🤔
Must be one rare car as alot of people like me never heard of one shame the owner (R.I.P) got it back on the road himself it's good to hear he's brother going to get all the work done and drive it looks like it's the body in good condition thanks to them and you stu to share this with us
Awesome find. Remember these from the mags back in the day. IIRC they did a T250 version that was dark blue/imperial blue that had different rear lights, silver chequered decals and a massive inter cooler with T250 sprayed on it.
I also owned this beaut in the early 2000’s. Bought it off an old neighbour who’s also found this video by the looks of it. The purrrrrr from the turbo was a real head turner and very different to the dump valves you heard on a lot of modded turbo cars around at the time. There was also a white T130 that lived down the road from us. From memory that was a normally aspirated 1.8l zetec. Brooklyn Ford of Redditch sold it and it lived Redditch for around its first 4-5 years roughly between the first owner and I. Would love to see pics/videos in its finished form if it gets rebuilt.
I hope it’s realised that you saved that wing mirror from being damaged as it was being pulled out of the garage, that was a very close call, well done.
Great video stu, that must be a rare car because I not heard of it and I love my cars, and even googling it you can’t find it, what a nice car, hope they put it back on the road for their brother 😊
You always Find these Vehicular relics Stokze 😮wow . This one is a beaut …. Nice 👍 Video, careful getting it on to the trailer mate, we don’t want any scratches or Dents now 👍👍👍😎😎😎

Ford Focus T190, a VERY rare development prototype for the mk1 RS. I had a ford focus mk1 and common problem was rust on the boot lid and rear archers part for that they are good car
This isn’t a pre production RS….it is in fact a dealer option car…you bought your 1.8 at the dealership and then you could have the upgrade….this is probably why they are relatively unknown and not many about
I love the peeper red had a Ford escort estate mk 6/7 and also a mk 6 orion in pepper Red and had a green focus and grey focus ford's rule 💯🏁👍 top job stu RIP David he was the same age as me born in 1983😥 what a wicked car and colour and thanks to David's family for letting us see this ultra rare ford and getting it bk on the road💯👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I remember these, I’m pretty sure Haynes of Maidstone sold them as well as Dagenham motors, there was a local lad who had the T230 with the 2.0 engine in it. Seem to remember most were black or that odd light blue . Not many were sold as they were fairly pricey. There was a 250 too which had a fully forged engine. Nothing to do with the focus RS just a sales tactic dreamt up by dealers not ford itself. Very similar to the old turbo technics stuff you used to get on mk2 xr2’s and sierras back in the day , rare but most people don’t know what they are
Hi Imstokze, a sad story about a very interesting Ford. I've never heard of a Focus 190, a probable RS prototype! Similar to my AVO Escort MK1 RS2000. Only 134 left-hand drive presentation vehicles were built in England for the German market (Ford Werke Germany). It wasn't until a year later that the German series RS came along. I hope that the rare Focus comes back on the road, as original as it was delivered, that increases the value enormously! Thanks for your great video! cheers Klaus from Düsseldorf
My mate bought this car brand new it was built by brooklyin ford redditch there were 3 a black lhd a white one and this one with is it for sale do you know
I have that issue of Fast Ford, I'll have a read up of that later. I remember the superclean black RS turbo on the front cos I had/have a black one. Cheers Stokze 👍

Hi

I was the 2nd owner after Brooklyn
Rip David
What a gorgeous rare little focus
Thank you for this video stokzie
What a unbelievable rare find
💯 👍
Such a rare car and its good to see that they are recommissioning it themselves in memory of fallen family. Much respect 👊.
lets hope the chassis is okay. Great content, yes follow this car. This car needs to be seen. I am 52 and grew up with Ford and I have never seen one.
Great to see it still alive my day to day life is mk1 focus but this is a special car part of reason I work with mk1s

Do you video any of the fixing of or after?
Wow I am a Ford fanboy so I will love this
An absolute limited classic hot hatch what a find......
The t190,t230 and t250 are the rarest focus. I’ve never seen one or one for sale. I’d imagine they were broken and sold for parts
There was a T130 too which was basically a standard 2.0 but with the body modifications

a pimp my ride, A focus.? NICE LOOKING THO.
Looks alright. I'm not feeling the Spoiler and Head Light designs though.

hi stu great car the focus
Great find
This was my parent's car, we were the first original owners!
Very nice better thn mk2
I am assuming the 190 stands for bhp but I remember these had a 1.8 zetec and 113 bhp.
Not a chance of making that little power with a 1.8 Zetec turbo is there?
@@curbyourshi1056 if you do a check on this car it comes up with a 1.8 zetec and 113bhp.
They only made 24
I have a few pictures of this from one of the rsowners shows i attended in the early 2000’s sad to hesr the owner has passed rip :(
Could you share them somehow
my mate has one sitting doing nothing he`s got a new car so i have been offered his old one the same as this car but a wee bit beaten up.?
They were test mules for the Focus RS
That’s just a myth , nothing to do with Ford or the RS
If anyone has any info pictures or stories about this car can we try and get in contact it will be back out on the ford scene very soon
Christ them prices...the actual RS when it arived was a snip at £19.995. Ford made a big loss of every car.
Not a car for me but good find Stu
Sure they were a prototype for the MK1 rs. Don't quote me on that tho.
I thought owning a mk1 focus would be cool until i realised how weak they were built, plastics, engine mounts, droney.
Look for a decent st170 I have one myself the interior is lovely they handle so so well as they have a fantastic chassis , no problems with the engine mounts or being droney on a drive
