- When I informed a lady on the staff of The Theater Royal in Brighton that Bela Lugosi's 1951 tour of Dracula started off with 8 performances in their fair establishment, I was met with "we don't mention it in our Saturday morning tour." "Have you any idea how big this guy was?" I replied. She told me she would look into it. Frank J. Dello Stritto and Andi Brooks' wonderful book Vampire Over London examines in great depth Bela's third and final visit to the U.K. It is an interesting read.
Nice one. 👍
Bless you.
Loved the vid😊👌
Thank you for your kind review - Andi Brooks.
My pleasure Sir. Well deserved. Another print run is surely in order?
Thanks for the review. Frank J. Dello Stritto also writes for Scary Monsters magazine -- I do as well.
I will check out Scary Monsters.
Thank you! Loved the optic which you are so entertaining.
Bless you.
Hello Duncan, lovely to see a new post about Bela. Seems interesting too. Was a reproduction of an Auroa kit at the end. Did you assemble and paint yourself? The NECA figure is an excellent likeness.
It is an actual Aurora kit which I bought and made in 1976 not long before Aurora went under. I agree the Neca figures are superb. Thank you for your kind words. Dunc.
Thank you for this very video and for correcting the old rumor about Lugosi's last stay in Great Britain! Greetings and appreciation from a long time (more than 40 years) admirer of Lugosi from Germany!
Lovely to meet you.
