Interesting Facts according to Jason Gray:
It was actually cold during the filming.
Mark's lines: "Thank you" and "Why wouldn't you make it" were improvised.
The plane was real. Originally, they were going to do a screenshot of a plane flying by, but when a real one appeared, they used that instead.
FUN FACT: During this sketch I got everyone in the cast to start sneaking rocks into Natalie's sweater pockets. I swear she had like 10lbs of rocks on her by noon!

I laughed the hardest when they tried to light the fire and they wondered why it wasn’t working.
What he did to light the fire was so unrealistic, even for a sketch. Maybe the fire didn’t light because you can’t just put a lighter up to a thumb width stick and expect it to spontaneously combust?
You have to have something delicate like paper, dry leaves, dry moss, or extremely thin twigs. Otherwise a spark won’t catch anything on fire.
Also they didn’t have enough wood. If they actually DID have tinder, it would have burnt out within a minute.

I watched this when I was like seven, and I had know idea that he wasn’t a cast member for some reason. And now I started watching Mark Rober, and re-watching studio C (I took a break for some reason) and found this. I also found the What’s Inside video after I started watching them

Mat Flo bc it’s had the original 10 cast members and it was so entertaining to see them interact with each other and know that they’re having a good time performing. With the new cast I don’t feel the same enjoyment I had watching the first 10 but that might just b because I’m not 10 anymore
