This channel is not monetized. No copyright infringement intended. The movie is not mine, the reactions are not mine, only the hard work, time, and dedication of putting this all together is mine. I wouldn't call myself a hero, cause what's a hero? But sometimes, there's a man.... - Развлечения
I envy these young folks who were unaware that Arnold was the hero
Completely lost 😂
Most knew, but needed content.
Over 30 years later I still can’t believe they spoiled that reveal in one of the trailers.
Then again, Cameron gave some pretty obvious clues earlier-Arnold doesn’t actually kill anyone at the bar and playing “Bad to the Bone” as he walks outside was a big hint.
@@MensaGiraffeyeah, no doubt.
@Charles_Gaba worst spoiler ever !!!!!!!!!!
Fun Fact: Robert Patrick was a very accomplished athlete. He ran track and played football in high school and college. So in the scene where he runs after Edward Furlong on his dirt bike, in the first take he actually caught him!
That would've been a short movie...and the end of the franchise.
@@somegreatbloke Yep. It would have been called "Terminated." 😅
Oh yeah. Robert actually had to SLOW down so they could have a movie. Thats how fast he was
That’s why I love the comments section. We actually learn stuff from time to time!
These folks have no idea how epic it was to see in theaters. This was the first rated R movie my dad took my brother and I to see and we loved every minute
I saw it in theaters when i was definitely too young, i had to look away and watch it in my dad's glasses reflection for most of it!
When R ratings were given for action and violence
I believe it was PG 13 the first one was R rated
@@matthewdunham1689 1, 2, 3, & 6 are R-rated. 4 & 5 are PG-13.
My mom and I saw this movie together. We were both blown away by the action and the special effects. Over thirty years later, the effects still look as cool. When effects like that still hold up, you know you have a masterpiece.
FUN FACT: The guy taking the picture with his camera @ 2:34 was the policeman who the Terminator knocked out and stole his cop car in the 1st movie. That explains why he looked so shocked!
That has been bugging the shit out of me for over 30 years. I was like who is this guy and why does it feel like I'm supposed to know who he is?
Thanks for the info, man👌✌👍
And- the character is played by William Wisher. Thats the man who worked with James Cameron on the scripts. 👍👍
Holy shit dude. Really??
охуеть!
Robert Patrick: "Have you seen this boy?"
Wayne Campbell: "AHHHHHHHH!"
T-1000 scarred everybody in '91
😄😄😄
GAME ON ‼️
He really did. He could be anyone. That was terrifying.
(Kid walks right past T-1000 while entering police station) "Hey did you see that?!!!" (If you know you know)
sup grandpa
fun fact: Robert Patrick the police terminator had to slow down when they were filming because he kept catching john on the bike 😂. I like how they can see he is fast but in real life he kept catching up to john..... he also played peacemaker father.
i met him on the set of X-Files (Season 9). he got out the driver's seat of the car for the scene and realized a few of us were gawking in awe. then he dropped his arms, gave us the T-1000 stare, and we about shit our pants. he smiled like it was a job well done. 😆
Just watched him in Reacher, and they had a tiny T2 Easter egg moment with him.
@@chrisw3024 That bit was great, laughed my arse off.
He was a track star in high school
"Who's Sarah Connor?"
T-1000: "Who gives a shit!?"
It’s satisfying to see others now know how badass that shotgun reload was.
I am typing this from the top of my head without googling it again, but I read before that after that scene it was revealed his whole thumb area was bleeding from abrasions, but he didn't tell anyone mid shoot so they could get it on film.
@bravosix8166 There were two different shotguns for the movie, one had a wider lever specifically so that Arnold could do that flip-reload. During one take, Arnold had the shotgun with the regular lever, went to do the flip, and that's how he injured his hand.
Robert Patrick trained like crazy for this role. He was going to play a cyborg, so he wanted to run really fast and not look like he was tired or even breathing. He also learned how to shoot a gun without blinking or flinching.
I know you know that with a top tier movie like T2 it's virtually impossible to take your eyes off of the action to watch the reactors. It's a battle I actually face every time you post. But I have to say you totally bring it home. As always, nicely done.
that encourages multiple viewings. 🙂
Hilarious. I noticed that! @@YoureMrLebowski
Arnold spinning the shotgun to reload it is ridiculously cool.
One of the greatest chase scenes ever.
The shotgun that Arnold uses was a modified prop that enabled the effortless looking reload of the shotgun. Even before T2, John Wayne also did the same reload in a few of his movies.
He still almost broke his hand doing the spinning thing
@@christopherwall2121 I could def see that happening. Ouch.
I still find it funny that they still can’t see that Arnold saved him twice and they still think he’s the bad guy. I was nine when I realized he was the good when he told john to get down lol
Half of them just act dumb for the views and comment interaction which boots the video.
@@OnlyCitrussad but true
Idiocracy is coming. XD
My opinion: I thought Arnold was the good guy at the beginning when he swiped the shotgun and sunglasses from the owner, but didn’t kill him.
"Why would anyone take a camera to the mall?" ... best comment of the reaction
He bought a new camera and took some test shots immediately with it. It's always the first thing you do with a new camera
They were probably tourists. Many people always have their camera when they visit another town.
Yea, I would just figure they're tourists out of town, taking a vacation in LA. And it's LA, so tourists would bring their cameras everywhere thinking they'll see movie stars on every corner, including the mall.
Just my cents:
Arnie was a huge star who played action hero good guys.
All the hype and trailers back then practically spoilt it that Arnie was the good guy.
Back then plenty of people hadn't seen Terminator 1. It was still much a niche/underground movie, at least here in Germany/Europe.
Some probably weren't aware that he had even played a bad guy.
This was made 32 years ago! 😮
Good point. I noticed that, and remembered exactly how they all gave away that spoiler. It's really too bad.
To be fair, trailers are made by a completely separate company than the studio.
I suppose the difference between movie production and movie marketing are big enough to necessitate separate work. Sometimes the director can have some input but apparently it's rather rare.
And the "Spoiler Free" awareness we have today wasn't nearly as prominent back then. The concern for spoilers has really ramped up the last two decades or so. An example; a lot of subscribers to reaction channels get super anxious of the teaser trailer at the end of Back to the Future part 2 and try to make them stop the movie at the "To Be Concluded..." despite the original movie theater audience saw it and it kept them engaged in the trilogy.
Yeah, the first Terminator was rather niche and I'd bet few people tried to watch the first one before going to the sequel; they just went cause it seemed like they'd enjoy it.
I don't know how things were in other countries back then, but where I live, back in those days, you rarely saw movie trailers on tv. So in order to see a trailer for T2 you would have to go to the cinema - and then MAYBE there'd be a trailer for it.
I had not seen a single trailer for this when it opened in theatres. So I walked in fresh faced (plus I had seen The Terminator several times), and as far as I knew, Arnold was the bad guy. Right up until this scene.
Conan wasnt a good guy
👶 Oh calm your boobies people. The anticipation and the greatness of T2 was so great we didn’t give a kazoo about the previews spoiling anything. We were still blown away in the theater at every scene. Was amazing and still amazing every time.
5:21 He whipping the hell outta Optimus Prime.. EOM is funny AF 😂😂
This is literally one of my favorite things to watch on RUclips is the reactions when they figure out arnold is the good guy… Amazing compilation! You should do one for the end of Rocky when Rocky and Adrian say I love you… and also do one for the karate kid when Mr. Miyagi shows him how to fight with wax on, sand the floor, and paint the fence
A timeless masterpiece, I watched it at least 20 times. Even after 30+ years the visual effects beat 99% of modern cgi crapfest.
No one can play the Terminator as good as Arnold!
Robert Patrick: Hold my beer
Patrick is good but not as iconic as Arnold's original.
1:41 Girls are trying to understand while the boys are mimicking shoutgun cocking! :DDD
In the BTS the T-1000 Actor Robert Patrick says that they had to redo the scene where he runs after John on the bike multiple times because he successfully caught John Connor.
Yea, everybody on set was shocked, because that day they were shooting that scene was the first time he showed off the infamous T-1000 run.
Yeh, Robert Patrick didn't even have to be a cyborg from the future to merc John, they had to nerf the real life actor to give Arnold a shot 😂
Such a classic :) Ever since I was a kid, I have been trying to decide whether this or Aliens is the best movie sequel. I don't think I will ever be able to choose between the two, because they are both amazing :)
A question for the ages
I go with Aliens because it’s a tighter movie. But they’re both brilliant and together with T1 form Cameron’s three greatest films. That said, Godfather II might be the greatest sequel of all time.
All I'm pretty sure of is that between them and the buzz Avatar: the Way of Water got, Cameron's the most _consistently_ good filmmaker at making "Part 2's". The closest competitor he had at making Part 2's was Richard Donner (Superman II, Lethal Weapon 2).
Yeah these are my top two movies from my childhood. I can't pick one.
Maybe T2 holds a bit of edge with the CG but Aliens has that awesome sci fi - horror atmosphere.
T2 hands down gotta a lot of love for aliens but T2 for me lol 😂
I love that Ash of all the people is mimicking the scene where T-800 is shooting at T-1000. He's loving every minute of it.
in 1991 the special effects in T2 were simply mind blowing. No-one had seen such effects. Only Jurassic Park and The Matrix had similar effect on an audience.
This video was put together by the skill of a master, It's roughly an 8 minute video and I've been watching it for well over an hour?!?! Terminator 1 and 2 are my favourite films, good job 👍
I'm amazed how many people don't pick up on the fact that Arnold doesn't kill anyone in the bar, yet the T-1000 immediately kills a cop. That's the movie telling you who's on what side.
Huh, you know it just hit me. Most people watching this movie for the first time have either never seen the first one, or were never spoiled by the trailer of T2 that pretty much just killed this reveal.
Pretty cool to see genuine reactions
I remember watching this movie at the cinema in 1991. Unfortunately, the previews had spoiled the 'reveal' about Arnold's role in the movie. It's the reason I don't watch previews these days.
Yup, same here. If I want to watch a trailer I'll watch just enough to get a sense of the premise, like 30sec, and then stop it before anything more gets revealed. Just be like "Oh, that looks cool! (shut it off) When is it showing?" lol
In my opinion trailers should never be more than 30sec.
Nobody ever notices that the guy snapping pictures of Arnold is the cop he carjacked in the first movie. Same actor and everything.
Same actor also screenwriter of T2 and dialog for T1 but different characters for both films. James Cameron explains this.
That mixed emotions of reactors 😂 every little progress in whole scene is pumping new stuff into eyes. Great reaction compilation 👏
In India we have intermissions/intervals for movies. I still remember very vividly the look of sheer shock and amazement on the faces of the audience, everyone in the theatre was silent for a few seconds as soon as the interval happened, nobody was prepared for what they just witnessed. To me and I believe for many the greatest action movie of all time. Terminator 2 is the golden standard that every other action movie gets judged on. Also Linda Hamilton should've won the Oscar for best actress, the fact that she wasn't even nominated speaks volume about how far up their own asses the Academy jury really is, always looking down upon commercially successful movies, yes exceptions have been made like in the case of Titanic.
Saw it in the theater opening weekend. None of the ads hinted that Arnold would be the good guy. When it was revealed on screen the air got sucked out of the theater.
The redhead kid I’ll always remember as Bobby Budnick from Salute Your Shorts. Classic kids show in my opinion.
No matter how many times you watch this movie it always feels like you’re watching it for the first time. Timeless classic
fun fact, towards the end of the film the t1000 begins to fall apart from the amount of time it’s been shot and blown apart
it’s not stated but the intent was that the heroes have shot and blown it up so many times that it has harder and harder time to keep itself together
I've seen this movie so many times I always forget this is a plot twist.
OMG!! What a great compilation! This is your best one. Easily. Thank you for making these video's.
I find it funny that one of Arnie´s greatest acting roles is a guy that shows no emotion
🍿 *BEST VIDEO ON THE INTERNET BY FAR*
- Great work *Dude.* “I like your style” 😉
Congrats for this nice editing. Really fun to watch.
"fun to watch" is a great compliment. thanks.
I remember when this came out in theaters. It was a game changer. Holds up to this day.
Robert Patrick the actor playing the T-1000 actually trained in Running for the part chasing the Dirt Bike. He got so fast that he outran the bike and he would actively run slowly to put distance between himself and Edward.
T2 has the two best reload moves in all of cinema. Arnold's "one-handed spinning reload" on the bike from this scene, and Linda Hamilton's "one-handed pump reload, shoot from the hip" from the final scene.
I saw T2 in the theater a few times when it came out. Just a awesome movie
Perfect! I was hoping someone would make a compilation of this moment.
For me, the best part was seeing Sarah Conner for the first time as a badass.
Ellie asking this is still the good guy right
Me face palm
1:41 Everyone going what? Ash just miming shotgun blasts
This movie was F##KING awesome, blew me out of my shoes when I saw it for the 1st time. I was 17 back in 92 when it first dropped. Seeing it in theaters back then was one hell of an experience. Like nothing before, the 1st of it's kind in so many ways, stunts, special effects, and Arnold being the good guy, WOW, it was so fun, I'll never forget that experience.
I can watch movies with people like this ALLLLLLL DAY!
7:08 the most important bit (September 11th, predictive programming)
Fun Fact- Robert Patrick was a decorated track athlete. He was able to run fast enough to keep up with the dirt bike and tap Edward Furlong on the shoulder.
Your editing skills are immaculate, my friend.
5:26 “Okay he is not that good of a driver.” Lmao 😂 😂😂
The real hero here is the redhead mullet kid. He saved the entire human race.
Fun Fact:
Robert Patrick not only trained himself to not flinch while shooting but he was also able tokeep up with and overtake the dirtbike on foot in full gear sprinting, resulting in the crew ordering him to slow his pace down
There's just this one small mistake in Terminator 2... If you look closely, when the truck falls off the bridge the windshield falls out, 2 seconds later the windshield is back. But with this successful film you can ignore it. And by the way, T-1000 (Robert Patrick) is my favorite. When he shoots Arnold with the gun without blinking his eyes. 😎 i love it, just a 👌 scene.
My compliments to the editor.
To the guy who said this is so satisfying yes sir it is, the storyline, the effects and the stunts in this movie are excellente and were ground breaking at the time, used right and not over done and still kept the story, still holds up today, one of the best scenes in a movie!!!!
I always wondered what people were thinking by spoiling this twist in the trailers. Most people probably assume it was some studio suit who did it without James Cameron's knowledge, but in fact, from what I've read, Cameron himself worked on the promotion for the film and signed off on the trailer that revealed it. Apparently, he felt that revealing early on that Arnold (a bankable star at this point) was now the hero would put more butts in seats.
Robert Patrick initially kept catching up to John's bike, so he had to hold back when he was running. Also, he had to train to fire a pistol without blinking and squinting.
1:55 Favorite reaction of the first fight scene (and my exact thoughts when I first saw this in the theater.)
Wow! There may have been two or three on this list I don't frequent weekly. Also LOVE Ash and Hannah!!
You’re awesome, compiling the reactors in the playlist.
Not All Heroes Wear Capes. ❤❤❤
Terminator 2 has cemented the Winchester Model 1887 as one of the coolest shotguns in history.
I'll also take this chance to say that the T-800 model is the greatest model of Terminator Skynet ever produced. It's been able to outsmart or outfight every other Terminator model sent against it. Obviously this is at least partly because for whatever reason, whenever Arnold plays a Terminator, it's as a T-800.
3:30 oh my God he's running so fast, gee whiz could it possibly be because he's a robot
I just refuse to believe that all these people were suprised by Arnold being the good guy in this one.
I agree with you. I'm sure most of them already knew the twist, but just wanted to create content.
He was in the 90s trailers, promising not to kill anyone 😂
If you see these movies without the context of knowing he was a huge star who always played the good guy after T1, nor seen any of the trailers, then it’s possible. Although the biker bar scene gave clues that it would be different this time (no killing, “Bad to the Bone”) so we can criticize them not picking that up.
@@motorcycleboy9000I'm sure all these reactors watched the 90s trailers for Terminator 2...
To be fair, reaction channels usually are folks that were never cinephiles before or otherwise engaged in the Hollywood culture.
Remember, you're watching a channel that collects from multiple channels. You're layers deep in the cinema ocean when they are still floating around in the kiddie pool.
1:42 dude mimicking the shotgun 😂😂
This is the power of the 80’s x generation 🎉😂❤
Да, были времена... Снимали хорошие фильмы... Даже Кемерон снимал... 😎
I'm never will tired to watch this film. So amazing scenes
Im so happy to have see this movie when i was a child... So fcking epic. Masterpiece ... I'm still fascinated by every scene from this movie in 2024...
I love how everyone loves it when Arnie spins the shotgun to reload… John Wayne was doing it with a winchester since 1939
Imagine in the biggest theatre in LA and you’ll are trippin together..
I watched this when I was 8 years old on a VCR cassette, and this was the best movie that I watched till that day, I have seen thousands of good movies, better thsn this after that but this iconic film is always special. 90s was so good for movies and music.
That compilation was awesome. Arnie cocking the gun, the bike jump stunt 🔥
I am so, so, so happy for - and more than a little bit jealous of - all of you for experiencing this plot twist the way in which it was intended! Unfortunately, back when this movie was released, enough spoiler material leaked out - including a magazine article published during the movie's production, and several TV commercials - that I knew about it before I ever went into the theater. Even though this is one of my all-time favorite movies, I still feel like I missed out a little bit. I hope you don't mind me living vicariously through all of you!
I love that the actor who played the T1000 (Robert Patrick) overtrained his stamina and muscles for the scene where he chases John Connor on foot. He kept catching up to the bike and they had to reshoot it a few times because he was too fast XD
1:41 lol I'm guessing that dude has seen this film before.
Many times.
Saw this in theatres as an underaged kid. Changed my life.
yeeeeea one of the most badasssssssssssssssss moments in Terminator2
I can't believe that one of the youtubers saw all the action until the moment the terminator saves John and still thought he was the villain and the T-1000 was the good guy.
I always get pulled into watching people watch my favorite movies growing up. There reactions remind me of what I felt then.
I can’t believe these people have never seen this movie before.
Some of them not even born in 1991.
@@orlandoaugustostock4578 well who’s raising them?
I’m confused. He told him to get down and then shielded him from bullets. For those of us old enough to have seen it in the theater, we were able to figure it out in THE 🤬 TRAILER!!!! Jesus.
People need everything spelled out these days.
“Is this guy trying to kill him?” 😂😂😂
So blessed to have grown up in the 90s with this classic 🙌 i was 10 years old on its release
I like how everyone collectively thought Arnold flip-cocking the shotgun was cool af
When my dad rented out this movie on video tape back in 1992, me and my siblings would watch it every single days after school. 🤣🤣 Good times 😊😊❤️❤️
Fun tidbit: Robert Patrick (T-1000) actually trained himself to not react to the gunfire, ahich is why you don't see him blink AND he had done A LOT of running to train fornthis movie. So much so, that he could catch John on the bike. He had to run slower to make it look like he was barely keeping up.
I know way too much about this movie as its my favorite: the reasons the shoots in the hallway look real is bc they are...the sfx department made squibs for the t1000 to simulate shots. Robert patrick (the t1000) trained so hard for this movie to run fast and run hard without breathing OR blinking that they had to reshoot the parking scene a few times bc ROBERT KEPT CATCHING UP TO THE TRUCK DRIVING JOHN! ...the truck driver messed up and really hit his head on the road and the stunt coordinator wanted him to redo it THROUGH his concussion. Arnold said they had to make a special 1887 with a widen lever to accommodate the single handed reloads. He almost broke his hand once bc they gave him the wrong one. Lastly, when arnie puts the shotgun away, fhere are bloopers where he kept hitting john conner bc he was trying to do it without looking and it hurt A LOT 😅
Fun trivia the guy with the camera taking the pictures is the cop from terminator 1 when Arnold stold the police car😊
These reactors are clearly actors, im 30 years old and I've seen all the terminator movies. And some of these guys are probably older. They've definitely seen it
This reveal probably would've been up there with Empire Strikes Back had it not been spoiled in the trailers. I do remember the theater crowd being amazed by the T1000 sfx.
I remember seeing the clip of him walking out of the fire when I was at school was amazing
I love getting to see people react to this twist the way it was intended--for you to have T1 and not know Arnie was the good guy this time. The fact they made the friendlier looking T1000 dress as a cop as well makes it seem like he'll be the hero protecting John only for the T800 to be the hero is probably lost on today's audiences where there's even more distrust in cops, though.
I wish this video ended with the Terminator explaining why he's helping him and seeing all of their reactions to it
I was a month shy of 24 years of age when I saw this movie back in July 1991.
Everyone else:what I'm confused is arnold the good guy??? Why is he protecting him???
Ash: *IMAGINARY SHOTGUN INTENSIFIES*
First time I'm watching the terminator I'm 8years old and after that more 30th years I'm still love this movie ❤
