    Michael I have to say, although you're pimarily a booktuber (and my biggest inspiration for starting my own book reviews on my own channel here on RUclips), I have LOVED seeing your views on movies with all these recent top 10 lists. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that sometime in the future you'll grace us with what your top favorite movies of all time petiod are, as well tv shows as I've previously said since knowing you're a big Star Trek fan I don't douvt you have other great picks for favorites. Keep up the great work!

    Great list! I commented my feelings on GrammaticusBook's vid that "Rules scmools. Of course Raiders of the Lost Ark is the greatest action movie." It's not open for debate. 🤣 I also mentioned that I would have included, or at least mentioned Raid 2 and 1. I really enjoyed the topic. Well done good sir.

    Glad to find someone else who likes "Highlander."
    "The Road Warrior" is GREAT. (Agree that "Beyond Thunderdome" is a turkey.)
    "RoboCop" holds up extremely well. (See "Flesh + Blood," Verhoeven's first English-language film. A crazy Medieval adventure.)
    Agree that "The Terminator" is better than "Terminator 2." (At least, that is the "appropriate response.")
    And I do have that "Action!" book about BLAM -- Big Loud Action Movies. It's great. Very enjoyable.

    Wow. This is such a difficult category to narrow down to 10. Some of your choices are on my top list: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Rambo Series, Road Warrior.
    I have a had time narrowing down series of movies I like to a specific one:
    * The Denzel Washington Equalizer Series (and I haven't seen #3 yet) *
    * Braveheart *
    * The Bourne Trilogy *
    * The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Series (Swedish Extended Version - perhaps the greatest movie series of all time; don't bother with the American version of the first novel- idiots changed the ending so it made no sense) *
    * Saving Private Ryan
    * Gunga Din (1939) *
    * The Guns of Navarone
    * Where Eagles Dare
    * The Dirty Dozen
    Not saying I am right, but these should be considered and check them out of you haven't seen them. I starred all the stuff I watch over and over.

I would also have had The Road Warrior and Raiders of the Lost Ark too. The Terminator over Terminator 2. I have to say that the absence of They Live and Big Trouble in Little China is scandalous!

    Both The Husband and I are over-the-top book-crazies, but we also are big movie fans. Bring on movies whenever you feel like it. You are still in our world.
    I love The Highlander movie. If you don't mind some changes,
    watch The Highlander series. The part of the young punk he takes under his wing is miscast, but the series has a lot of humor as well as action. There are some very interesting recurring characters as well.
    I like Robocop. The rest on the list, that I know, are good. I do not know The Killer. We open the Christmas movie season with Die Hard #1 every year.(The sequels got one viewing each).
    Teminator 2 is good, but I hate what they did to Sarah, but for sheer terror, yeah. #2.
    Raiders was such a phenom, an elderly priest commented on how great it was at mass, I kid you not.

    **screams**
    Just lost a fairly long comment I was in the middle of writing. Basically,
    1) 300 was shit, however you classify it;
    2) Any list like this I might make would be mostly made up of Hong Kong action/wu xia from the 70s/80s (The Killer would probably be at the top of the list);
    3) I prefer the original Mad Max to its sequels, but can't disagree too much with your top 3.
    I'm afraid you'll have to imagine the other insights I had to offer, cos I can't be bothered retyping them.

    *Oldboy (2003 japanese original)
    *Girl Who Played With Fire (my pick for a sequel had better action but first movie better overall movie)
    *Dredd (so mad we never got sequels like other comic book movies)
    *Kill Bill duology (so much more than that one battle)
    *Crank duology (live action cartoon fun)
    *The Incredibles (best cartoon actioner and possibly closest we'll ever get to a good Fantastic Four movie)

    indepance days and aliens great action movies. for arnold best action true lies or last action hero. last action hero very crazy movie more crazy than terminator. another great action movie jurassic park 2 lost world. trex on city make that movie godzilla like action and island action was good too. the latest great action movie feel like those movies ı think district 9. ı dont pick termianotr 2 best action bcouse the future battle on start ı think way better than rest of movie. too bad cameron not make movie about future wars smilar to terminator salvation. the first batman movie can be on list too. empire stikes back also great action movie. new hope and return of jedi goes more slow there is no stop on empire. ı think fellow ship of the ring also great action. other two movies feels more slow. matrix reloaded great action. men in black 12 can be too. it true that after 99 things not same. best example of this star wars eposde 1 come 99 still have good action. other 2 movie on 2000s feels very off. even in same trilogy you can feel episode 1 have 90s shine. ı dont consider the thing good action ı chose evil dead 2 amry of dead or peter jakson braindead over that. thing like first alien movie. best action for books for me chose you own adventure series books bcouse you can die in books. espcially themed egypt and time travel and dinasours or space ones. they usualy edward packard books but Mummy's Tomb by Stephanie Spinner my favorite. ı wish conan have book that in serie. that will be great. star wars or some sci fi movies also chose your adventure books.
