Such a creative use of 3 molds to make something your own. The mix almost looks like alabaster. So pretty. Wonder if using a thicker or faster curing resin would prevent the separation.

I have epsom salts here but mine are much chunkier - think they'll work ok? They must be more generic. (yep Wally World brand)

Thank you! No I haven't tried adding color. Have you? I'm afraid it would cause the Salts to react to the moisture. 🤷♀️
I had a go at your jars, added white mica so didn't get so much of a line. However I left them on a shelf outside & the surface salted out with the morning dew & recrystalized. So fab effect but I've had to coat. Just incase or say they can't be in a moist atmosphere x

It's really beautiful. I'm scared to try the Epsom salts BC I just don't know how well it will hold up in resin over the yrs. I see people using it on canvas art and that really is scary to me. I mean they're selling that art. I would really love to know what those little clear beads people use to make car freshies out of, I want to try those in resin.

I'm always looking for different ways to use molds.
Just be careful where you put it. If any of the salts are exposed and they come into contact with a lot of moisture they may disintegrate.

Scrolling through all the comments n saw ur question, I just purchased a curing machine that Tea & Art recommended by “Texpert” {I believe is the companies name}, anyhow they updated the machine & now it includes these legs/posts that u can add to the trays & get more height than u could previously. There’s another resin artist, my apologies I’m having lupus brain fog so I’m not 100% sure of his last name, but he’s pretty well known by his RUclips channel, Steve {brain fog}, I think it’s McDonald🫣also does a review of this curing machine!
