I was also very hesitant on owning Dahlia at first. I found it a bit disrespectful & tone death for mezco to make a doll representing such a horrible crime that in retrospect didn’t happen all too long ago. But I see her in a bit different light now while still holding a bit of that resentment towards her creation. Shes a very beautiful doll & in a way I think she commemorates the life of the black dahlia in a chilling yet profound way ☺️💗 Shes definitely one of my favs in my collection

I feel a pang of sadness when I hold her and yet of all the dolls in series 5 she is the most well made in terms of her clothes which have a quality that surpasses the others.
