This was a great tutorial! I just fixed mine with a little help. Only took 30 mins. Make sure you put the weather strips back in place before putting the door back on. Very helpful tip

Thankyou it took me 20 minutes and I’m a paraplegic (high functioning but still sitting down the entire time) in a wheelchair and I was in a driveway with a terribly steep gradient. I forgot to put the weatherstrip on first and had to pull it off again and do it the correct way. So if I did it right the first time even my crippled ass can do this job in about 10 minutes. Cost me around 3.50 for the T20 driver. Thank you thank you Thankyou. You sir saved me a fortune.

Huge clutch. This happened to my 2016 model and this was exactly the problem. Seems like its very common in the chargers. Insane that they wanted to charge you that much for it. Thankyou🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I have the same issue but with the back door I took off the panel open the little flap door that it has and I don't seem to be able to reach seems different than the front door any recommendations on how I fix it
Yes. When it worked loose again put LockTite on the screw. Been that way for over a year with no issue. IF the LockTite fails, the handle will have to be replaced.

So it has to be tight. I kept doing quarter turns 😂 and have to do it like every 3/4 days lol
I did end up putting lock tight on it when it backed out the next time. Haven’t had a problem for a long time.

Yes but the problem keeps happening! Have you tried loctite on the torx screw? I am at that point now...don't know what else to do? Help!!
Yes. When it worked loose again put LockTite on the screw. Been that way for over a year with no issue. IF the LockTite fails, the handle will have to be replaced.
