It looks very nice, thanx for share Mark 👍
Well done as always. Bravo.
Did you make your mandrel or buy it somewhere? Very beautiful work!
This one was a gift. I do have a video on making your own though!

Question Mark? It looks like you went thru this twice while making this. However after tightening this up it looks like three times? Thanks for the video Gonna try this one but was wondering about the number of passes.
Hi John, there is enough 95 cord to do 2 passes on the mandrel. Once you transfer to the cork and mostly tighten then there is plenty of cord to do a 3rd pass. Which as per the video looks much better, though you could leave it at 2. However, for me this looked a little "happy".
Hello Mark. Thank you so much for the video. I always look with interest. I want to tie the same knot, only 2 or 3 times longer. For example, for the handle of a knife. Please help with the scheme.
For a beginner what tools and inst book would you recommend
How do two passes become three?
when you are done tightening up the knot (usually repeating the process twice) you reattach the lecing needle and go for the third pass 🙂
@@64Rosso Thank you for your help. I understand what you have explained.
Awesome design Marko. Where did you come up with that? Oh yeah! It's my design. You could have at least mentioned my name.
