For the N1 RC, it you have to stretch your thumb to be able to push it, and that takes a while. Emergency stop only makes sense if you are cruising or on auto pilot
Another way to stop quickly is to push the throttle backwards instead of forwards where the drone is heading. That’s what I do with my bebop 2 but I’m still trying to get my hands on the Dji Mini 3 pro with the Dji RC.

@@Censtudiosit's not as fast. There is no faster way to stop the drone than the button. Even if breaking sensitivity is set to maximum, the button still brings it to stop as fast as possible. Of course, pulling back will still break very quickly.
Is that also a home button? I was trying out that stop feature but long pressed it, at first it came to a stop, then suddenly climbed up until it hit tree leaves (it was a mini 3 version no obstacle avoidance).
@garyvickers9474 these are the most easy things to fly, if you can play the simplest game on an Xbox or playstation you can easily fly 1 of these, you don't need a license just an operators id which you pay for online and of you go once you have your drone. This mini 3 pro and 4 pro are best sub 250gram flyers out there in my opinion. I fly mini 3 pro and see no reason to upgrade to a mini 4 they're basically exactly same yet with this mini 3 pro you can now fly it in fpv mode basically goggles and fly like a bird but practice practice practice/insurance before flying fpv as you will crash. Your not the Gary trainer collector by any chance are you ?. Anyhow good luck when you get 1 don't worry a kid can fly these legally even though they are adult toys really as can get in to big trouble if you don't stick to laws as they know when/where you flew as can't fly camera drones unless registered , happy flying in future pretty cheap to get into it

Me too mindful from about 25 ft down hit the side of a roof thank God I had a landing gear on my Mini 3 but I came to an abrupt stop on the fastest speed setting and it just shut off lost the signal everything and it was just literally almost right over top of my house but it was my neighbor's house it hit. I was like come on restart and just sit there and watched it hit the landing gear thank God. I knocked the dust off of it she's flying still but God I can't feel comfortable about flying it again feeling like it's just going to shut off in mid-air folks there are now being reports that the battery is coming loose or something just enough to kill the power to the Drone when you're doing these kind of fast speeds and abrupt stops
All you have to do is let go of the sticks and it stops. Unless it can stop faster by wasting time hitting these buttons. Which I doubt. Correct me if I’m wrong.
lol default settings on dji drones is brake 150, which is maxed out. if you move it lower, the drone won’t slam on brake or even never brake at all if you put it to the lowest setting. if you leave it at 150, just take you hand off the joystick and it’ll slam on brakes on its own even in sports mode lol the emergency stop won’t make it do better than it can on its own
@@doatrip yep youre absolutely right. I’m saying that same logic is applied on the default auto break setting which is 150. as long as you don’t change that, letting off the joystick will make the same thing as pressing the emergency break.

You set in the settings an altitude for the return to home, and you press for a few seconds the button, the drone will rise at the altitude you have set and will go straight to his return to home point, which is set seconds after takeoff.
@doatrip I was doing an orbit and was not as high as I thought. Obstacle avoidance started to beep at the same time as cross wind, and the drone was knocked out of the air by a tree. Just bad luck that video made me think of it.
I found a dji mini pro on ebay with this type of controller for 749. Its a open box, new drone. I was impressed with the flight time. It literally has 39 minutes flight time. Some have the regular battery which only gives less than 30 minutes flight time.
Letting go of the throttle will not be as sensitive mate. letting go of the throttle will not try to stop immediately, this is so the footage does not look bad. their is an obvious reason why this button exist and that is to stop quickly using all its force.
