I watched all the way through and it was entertaining the whole time. Your tips, knowledge and personality make your videos always worth watching from beginning to end.
Thanks New Man, reading this message really made my day especially while I'm editing a new video right now. Hope you're having a great weekend! Tight Lines!
Thanks for showing the tough times in fishing, most show back to back eats that took them all day ( not a bad thing ) this shows how hard fishing can be and that everyone has tough days. Keep on the grind 👍🏼
Awesome video Rich! Keeping us NE folks sane and waiting patiently for the weather to turn and for the fish to migrate back north! That follow from that big jack was epicccc!
Enjoy the videos, keep them coming. In the future, if the fish seem curious in the spook but won't strike, come behind it with a soft plastic fluke, weightless. Works just about every time for me.
loved the video, slow bite but i like that you show not just the highlights but how fishing really goes sometimes. i love florida so loved watching the video and seeing the beautiful views. nice snook too. keep it up.
I really like the fact that you do short drone overviews to start the videos. It’s sets the scene so to speak. All in all you splice everything together very nicely. You have an excellent production.
Florida fishing at its finest. I'm hooked on this channel. Mitch is really good at bringing out the best in fishing wether it's a spit size pinfish or a boat rocking trophy snook. This guy is for real
Fish don’t hang around during low tide. When it comes back up, the bigger fish line up at the mouth of the inlet to grab whatever the tide brings. When the tide goes out, they turn around and catch what they can on the way out. There are probably a boatload of Mangrove Snappers feasting on all of those pilings too. I miss Boca. It’s been many years now. Need to go back and fish there again. Used to catch tropical fish that embarrassed Pet Smart, Giant Snook, Pompano, Tarpon. Miss those days!
One good topwater bite beats 5 subsurface bites any time. Thanks for posting this video even though the bite wasn’t super hot. It helps me hang in there longer.
Aww man you was in Boca Raton a month ago! Man you right I my stomping grounds! That is so cool!!! My bday is coming up on the 26th of April! It would be a bucket list slash dream to do some shore fishing or boat fishing. I have a yak but it isn't anything to great but will keep me above the water!!! Lol! I would swim if I had to because I'm a true outdoorsman!!! Yeah buddy!!!
I'd say that bridge has too much noice and likely too much vibration in the water to catch much of anything under there. @14:20 is the proverbial fish story...lol. Great channel.
Also, try a zoom fluke with just a little weight in the bend of the hook to make it a sub-surface jerk bait or a really fast moving topwater. Drives the jacks crazy!
Enjoyed your exploration of the area. I have a place, just north of Bocca in Hypoluxo, and have wanted to check out that area. Thanks for all your videos Rich!!!! Keep Plum Island (Newburyport, Ma) and Southern Maine in mind for striper season, would make great content!! I have some great striper locations :)
Always gets my sunday off to a great start to go fishing with you for 20 mins or so and get entertained by your wahooo reaction to catching a nice one. Damn, you fish hard. I actually caught my very first striper on a watermelon zara spook in waquoit bay walkin the dog ( a really long time ago ). Love the spook! Kepp em comin Rich.
Have you fished Mosquito Lagoon yet? Will be heading down there in the next few weekends. It's supposed to be a very diverse population of aquatic species
That tide was Hella low for that area. Must be a moon?? Love these videos they bring back alot of Indian River memories. Love to see you get a live scope or a mega 360. I think it would really be the heat for finding the best ambush points on the river. So much "dead water" where there are never any fish. That olive colored Rap is my fave color in their line for sure. I have taken a black sharpie to that pink belly most times though as I could never figure out why they put it on a natural colored bait
hey there i grew up fishing the boca Intercoastal canals n there way better at night every House has those green lights n snook just sit there lol lights turn on after 11 or 12
Always enjoy watching your videos! I’m considering getting a pedal kayak myself. Any advice as far as prop drive or mirage drive etc. How much of an issue does not having automatic reverse cause?
I fish Boca alot and the boat ramp I frequent at Silver Palm is now closed for construction ...what boat ramp is that u launched from in this video Rich?
Are used to live in Boca we don’t have waterways like this there in nearby cities but not actually in Boca which is filled with Northeasterners for lack of a better descriptive term
Rich did u see the new auto air drop for the Mavic 2? I think it would be epic to site a school of fish with the drone and fly a lure over them and drop it on them. Carries up to 1 lb. It's only $40 too!
“Top water” is my favorite! Hard winter bite for sure, but it’s better than watching someone else fish from an armchair. I could use a KNIFE, by the way.
Was that a Horse Eye jack? It looked a little different in color than a Crevalle. Awesome video man! I am literally straight across on the other side of the state on the gulf. If you ever wanted to collab, let me know!
I'm not sure. I thought it was a Jack Crevalle because I've never caught or seen a Horse Eye Jack in this area. Might be heading to the West Coast so I'll let you know. Tight Lines!!
@@FishAholicTV Awesome man! Just let me know and we can get on some fish! I really enjoy your channel, and can relate to a lot of the atlantic stuff you do as well. I was raised in Va Beach, VA.
Went fishing in boca a couple weeks ago didn’t get one bite using shrimp fish a swimbait and a plug and caught a lady fish. We fished the flats the pass the beach nothing

I just made the same exact comment.
yeah I didn't have one tied on so i was definitely not prepared
The variety in FLA is awesome 😎

Best RUclipsr, it’s not even a question!
Perfect video and example of how you guys sometimes have to fish for days to get footage. People think it’s easy when in fact it can be a real grind.
Best fisher man thanks for sharing my video of that 45” stripper with the fish holic swim Shad 🤘
I really like the fact that you do short drone overviews to start the videos. It’s sets the scene so to speak. All in all you splice everything together very nicely. You have an excellent production.
Another Great Video Rich!
More Power to your Chanel! As always "Live 2 🎣,...🎣 2 Live"!!!
🙊🙉🙈

Sometimes it all comes down to just that "one" bite/catch,...and it's worth it.
Great video post Rich.
God Bless you.
Glad i stopped by. I assumed all of your videos are in Florida? love the water and the canals, please keep more coming
As always, love the video! Sad I was late to the party. Keep up the great work and stay grinding! Until next time ✌️
Glad to hear Christopher! thanks so much for tuning in!!
Great trip Rich. I’ve had a lot of trips like that, it’s nice to see the realities of fishing!
Ciao , che bei posti ... bellissimi i filmati
Awesome video as usual!
Always stoked on your videos dude! Thank you 🤙
Thanks Angel, glad to hear!!

Just crushing it with content lately, keep up the great work. Cheers from eastern Canada 🤘
Great day!!!! That freakin snook is nice!!!!
Beautiful snook! Terrific fight. Keep the real life fishing content coming!!
Also, try a zoom fluke with just a little weight in the bend of the hook to make it a sub-surface jerk bait or a really fast moving topwater. Drives the jacks crazy!
Don't hesitate to put smelly jelly or procure on your hard baits like the spook. It helps for topwater too!
Nice comeback at the end 🤙🏻
Thanks Mark! tight lines!
Would love to fish with you sometime always great content

thanx man for making these videos
Went out of north miami had about the same luck. Seen a few giant tarpon but no live bait. Even the slow days are stellar content. Love the videos 🤘
you should try fishing at hillsboro inlet there’s a lot of snapper jacks and some times cuda
You should do a video about your kayak set up 🙌🏼
Can't wait till surf fishing videos starting 🐟👍👍
Next video is surf fishing!!
@@FishAholicTV he'll yea bro 🐟🤙cheers 👍. Tight lines 👌
Awesome video bro!
Another great video brother, your videos always are a welcome sight and never disappoint, thank you keep em coming, prayers for Ukraine 🇺🇦
I love you fishaholic ❤️
Have you fished Mosquito Lagoon yet? Will be heading down there in the next few weekends. It's supposed to be a very diverse population of aquatic species
Mosquito Lagoon is a trout haven! Good luck
Nice catch with that snook! I'm dying to catch my first 😭

You know what they say, a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day of working!
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at the office😁
Wow awesome bro
Thanks Rich. I’ll watch your vids fish or not. Great Snook.
Thanks Andy! Tight Lines!!
Between your technique and lures, you could easily be Muskie fishing in Northern Wisconsin. Enjoy the videos, Thank you.
Nice snook, let me know if you want to fish the Jupiter area. 👍
Love your vids man
Thanks JJ! Glad to hear!
@@FishAholicTV you should make a saltwater MTB vid one day.
hey there i grew up fishing the boca Intercoastal canals n there way better at night every House has those green lights n snook just sit there lol lights turn on after 11 or 12
I honestly would have given up on the top water lures after about 30 minutes
Your patience is impressive
Always enjoy watching your videos! I’m considering getting a pedal kayak myself. Any advice as far as prop drive or mirage drive etc. How much of an issue does not having automatic reverse cause?
At night all those spots a on fire best bet is 3hours before sundown.
I fish Boca alot and the boat ramp I frequent at Silver Palm is now closed for construction ...what boat ramp is that u launched from in this video Rich?
Little bit more north than that one, I frequent that ramp too.
I fished that spot plenty of times , that’s where I caught my first sheepshead 🔥
Nice, I did see a few of them around but didn't have any bait so i didn't bother to try and catch any of them!!
Are used to live in Boca we don’t have waterways like this there in nearby cities but not actually in Boca which is filled with Northeasterners for lack of a better descriptive term
Could u take the kayak off the beach and hit the first reef and maybe catch some snappers and mackerels ?
Yeah I can try and look into it!
@@FishAholicTV awsome thanks for responding btw I think ur vids are awsome lmk when ur in the Dania/Miami area if you wanna catch some big snappers
Rich please tell me what knot you used to attach the 40 lb leader to your main line.
hey Martin, I was using an albright knot!
Rich did u see the new auto air drop for the Mavic 2? I think it would be epic to site a school of fish with the drone and fly a lure over them and drop it on them. Carries up to 1 lb. It's only $40 too!
Rich how do you like that reel ? What size have you been using, any issues with it at all, pros-cons ?
Hey Rich, where do you the music for your videos
Im surprised you arent throwing a follow up bait like a fluke when you miss a topwater bite . Nice 4th quarter snook
haha yeah i probably should have rigged one up to throw. Thanks tuning in!!
Hey there, what kinda shoes are those?
What kind of not do you tie from braid to leader?
Would love to have the opportunity to fish these areas every weekend
You should do more multi Species and catching cooks
Ok, I'll try and film one this week!
@@FishAholicTV thx bro love the content 😀
Awesome catch. Hard fishing though. What's up with the knife give away? Did I miss it?
Thanks Michael, I'm actually going to pick a winner and post it today!!
Hey Rich, what headmount do you use?
Hey Josh, this is the head mount that I use which i believe is compatible with all Gopro cameras amzn.to/3IMvYtC
“Top water” is my favorite! Hard winter bite for sure, but it’s better than watching someone else fish from an armchair. I could use a KNIFE, by the way.
I was just by Boca!
Çok güzel bir video olmuş tebrikler
When you coming back up north?
Probably in the Spring like in April and May
🖐👏👍Однозначно лайк👌🤝
What reel did you use in this?
Was that a Horse Eye jack? It looked a little different in color than a Crevalle. Awesome video man! I am literally straight across on the other side of the state on the gulf. If you ever wanted to collab, let me know!

fish fort lauderdales canals south of bahia mar. i wanna see what you can catch there
Ill look into it. Maybe on my way back up after my next keys trip
What rod are you using.?
Do you only fish the VR because they give it to you? I ask because man it is not pleasant at all to fish. So rough to reel and the drag is so sticky.
Can you post what lures you are using?
Hey Julie, yeah I believe I listed it the description of the video
4:16 The stick fish was chasing the bait
Trucks going over the bridge sound like a transformers lion roar
Hahahahaha it does. Can barely hear myself think
You should have used your net to catch some of those bait fish! Lol
I know but I didn't bring it this day!
Do you ever fish after dark while in Florida?
Yes I do. If you follow me on Instagram you can see some catches. It's hard to get good quality content when filming at night so I don't usually film.
@@FishAholicTV I would guess that fishing is better after the sun goes down. I’ll check out your Instagram account. Do you have a link?
What kind of boat is that @ 7:12
Went fishing in boca a couple weeks ago didn’t get one bite using shrimp fish a swimbait and a plug and caught a lady fish. We fished the flats the pass the beach nothing
When are you going to learn to work the lure all the way back to the boat?
Cuban sandwich makers and Chewbacca wrecked the fishing in that area long ago
I’d try some live mullet under a small balloon, probably wouldn’t have to go very far
What do you do for a living
Fishing and filming, I'm a licensed Captain and Chartered my boat out of Montauk NY, my lures, and my rods etc....
its weird that nobody is around no other people fishing or boating.
Bro the best fishing lure vidio please
My home town 😩
You need to throw shrimp in the canals bro
next time! I saw some nice sheepshead too that probably would have ate that
Killer snook
Do a snook catch n cook
Sounds like thunder
Man, why are you pulling those fish like that 😅??
Usa camarão artificial com jig red você vai pegar mais peixes em , você tá no ninho dos robalos só não tá sabendo pescar
