I can say through all the negativity on The Braxtons Show, I want to hear Mrs. E say, I’m going to pray for Big Kevin and Lil Kevin. They act like Kevin Sr. is a nobody and he doesn’t have feelings. I wonder at any time did they ask Traci’s husband , How are you, or even give him a hug. I’m so tired of Ms. E catch phrases, How Bout That or Look At God. With her being a Pastor and her husband give Kevin Sr. and Jr. words of encouragement. Tawanda cursed so bad in one episode till she looked demonic. I just pray for Kevin Sr. and Kevin Jr. that God gives them peace that surpasses all understanding. To fix everything that is broken. That he becomes a sweet, sweet spirit to them. God can do anything. Rest in Eternal Peace, Traci.

She presented a united front. We watched him have her back, even against the sisters, and we watched Traci go to him for support. He was the family she chose. That deserves respect.

Kevin Sr. advocated, supported, loved, and cheered for his beloved wife daily and I’m sure he did this even when the cameras weren’t rolling. Each and every episode is surrounded around their disdain for Kevin Sr. as they use Kevin Jr. as a pawn to support their tired, over-done, and ran in the ground narratives. Kevin and Traci’s marriage was the ONLY marriage that stood the test of time. Everyone else marriages fell apart one by one in front of our very eyes. This bad behavior does not honor Traci’s legacy, contributions, gifts, and love that she displayed in this world. Kevin Sr., I pray that God continues to sustain you and Kevin Jr. God we thank you for sharing Traci with us.
My parents have been married about the same time and I disagree because marriage is NOT a reflection of "standing the test of times." Some people, like my parents, stay together because they are friends, they do not want to go through costly divorce proceedings, or they do not want to seriously put themselves out there to meet someone new. I think Traci's marriage was like that. They were friends but they were both "bad with money" then their future was destined to end in failure because you have no other choice but to be GOOD with money once you are 35 plus.

The son is manipulated. Family needs both male and females members involved to be complete. Women were always meant to support and be the heart of the household but not to try and take the man's place and rule it with an iron fist. Trina was married to my understanding 3x, tamar married and divorced 3x, toni divorced and never with a stable relationship, and Towanda might as well be a man herself. SMH. They can sing though.
This was a great interview! Sherrell was very sensitive with her questions and Mr. Kevin willingly answered her with poise and grace. Even in speaking about the Braxton family, he was direct but respectful. He showed no bitter hostility or contempt towards them. I have a new respect and likeness for him. All of the Braxton women had unsuccessful marriages including their mom perhaps there’s some bitterness. Praying they all come together out of love for Traci and she RIP. She was my favorite because she stood up for herself and her marriage.

It’s unfortunate that many Black people may not understand the importance of taking care of themselves during times of grief. If this man chose to go downstairs, down the street, or miles away to prioritize his mental well-being, then good for him. It’s akin to putting on a life jacket; if you’re not okay, you can’t be a help to your dying loved one. Overeating, excessive drinking, and sleepless nights often stem from putting the needs of your loved one before your own, as you struggle to stay afloat. 😢 Kevin Sr. navigated this difficult time with awareness and intention.😢 It shouldn’t take dying to show up and support your love one. Be a presence in a love one’s life.

Thank you Sharrell for doing this interview with Kevin Sr. I feel like the Braxton Family withe exception of Tracy’s father always treated her like “a special case”! Tracy was an Angel, in terms of her earnestly loving her entire family. When she was alive she clearly let it be known that no matter what her and her husband went through they loved each other. I feel like the Braxtons excluding her father treated her in a negative, dismissive, passive-aggressive manner!!! Tamar went out of her way to try and to antagonize Tracy to get a reaction and the run and cry victim!!! After she had antagonized Tracy to the limit! I’m glad for Tamar’s sake that she made amends to Tracy prior to her passing. I believe Tamar loved Tracy she was just grossly immature! Tracy forgave and always loved Tamar! I believe Kevin Sr. is experiencing the family’s misplaced anger because of their shortcomings in their treatment of Tracy when she was alive! I’m happy Tracy had her individual success with her album and performances as a social artist. Tracy had a beautiful voice and she was an exceptional talent! It would be nice if they could treat Tracy’s son and husband in love and respect which they didn’t show her but change their ways with the family she left behind. That would truly be healing for them as a whole family. I pray they right their path and not try and turn her son against his father. God will be watching their next steps.

I think we dance around lil Kevin's state of mind. No one will call him slow. However, he's not treated as if he's a responsible adult. He comes off mentally as a kid. I do believe that Traci was cohearsed to putting lil Kevin in charge. Those responsible know that he's mentally, physically, and spiritually weak. If something happens to him, who will be in charge of Traci's estate? I really hope his dad has some prayer warriors praying over him. I don't trust that other family.

To discount a husband/wife after losing the one they love is a REAL THING, I LOST all family ties, I too sat for hours when my grandma died, my mom was their initially but would not come to my grandmother, she left me there alone until my cousin came back, I didn't understand it still to this day What since then I have learned now, no support is equivalent to Don't dwell in places you don't belong, The greatest message for us ALL!, greet those otherwise with Grace for that is ALL you are required to give ❤❤❤❤ IMO, the reality tv space serves detriment by any means necessary, we live in a monetary driven world too, unlike spirit reveals themself, others will go in by any means necessary to survive 😢

Im no phycologist but um it sounds like misplaced anger. Its seems easy to be mad at Kevin. I think they are grieving, and yess guilt for how they treated her aimed at Kevin. But now this anger is working, moving and dividing this man from his son. I hope they pray and be better people for Kevin Jr.

This family is controlled by one person. MS E never forgave their father which affected each and everyone of them in some way. I think their mother was jealous of her and her marriage. Plus that mother is all about money and trying to look younger than her daughters. Ma’am can we see you without that wig and makeup? Traci would go without makeup often. The mom never got on to Toni, but she did all the other girls. Toni filed for bankruptcy 2 times. Now who isn’t good with money? Traci knew all this.

He really does because he has proof (the public will) that the Braxtons intentionally lied about Traci’s last wishes for a viewing to paint him as a villain. Then he should also sue them and the network for breach of contract since he had one in place to be on the show this season. The Braxton clan did not want the truth to come out so they blocked him. But, I doubt he’ll sue because his priority is to help Kevin Jr heal-so suing the Braxtons will just be more drama and fuel the fire for the Braxtons to further manipulate lil Kev. Sad.

My question is when did Towanda "the responsible one" Braxton who allegedly stole money from her former employer start calling Kevin Jr. "Scratchy" when no one in the family (Von or Towanda's kids) knew of the name.
Well in one episode, Towanda asked Traci about "Scratchy" and that's when Traci revealed that they were pregnant. So she did call him that just not as often as she is doing now. Now it is just overkill, like she is trying to make up for something.

I feel empathy & sympathy for Sr & Jr. I lost my husband 2 years ago & slowly his family backed away from me & I realized I was the only 1 trying to remain in contact & I stopped my contact at the beginning of the Year. I felt/feel sad & mad about it but I refuse to force myself upon them. Out of all the sisters I liked Tracy the most & was her marriage perfect no, no one's is but it was just right for her & Sr!

Each and every episode is surrounded around their disdain for Kevin Sr. as they use Kevin Jr. as a pawn to support their tired, over-done, and ran in the ground narratives. Kevin and Traci’s marriage was the ONLY marriage that stood the test of time. Everyone else marriages fell apart one by one in front of our very eyes. This bad behavior does not honor Traci’s legacy, contributions, gifts, and love that she displayed in this world. Kevin Sr., I pray that God continues to sustain you and Kevin Jr. God we thank you for sharing Traci with us.

My parents have been married about the same time and I disagree because marriage is NOT a reflection of "standing the test of times." Some people, like my parents, stay together because they are friends, they do not want to go through costly divorce proceedings, or they do not want to seriously put themselves out there to meet someone new. I think Traci's marriage was like that. They were friends but they were both "bad with money" then their future was destined to end in failure because you have no other choice but to be GOOD with money once you are 35 plus.

Trina was married to my understanding 3x, tamar married and divorced 3x, toni divorced and never with a stable relationship, and Towanda might as well be a man herself. SMH. They can sing though.

Even in speaking about the Braxton family, he was direct but respectful. He showed no bitter hostility or contempt towards them. I have a new respect and likeness for him. My heart breaks for him. Marriages go through things and God is the only one that needs to know. Traci and Kevin Sr love was felt. I will pray for him and Kevin Jr relationship. All of the Braxton women had unsuccessful marriages including their mom perhaps there’s some bitterness. Praying they all come together out of love for Traci and she RIP. She was my favorite because she stood up for herself and her marriage.

It’s unfortunate that many Black people may not understand the importance of taking care of themselves during times of grief. If this man chose to go downstairs, down the street, or miles away to prioritize his mental well-being, then good for him. It’s akin to putting on a life jacket; if you’re not okay, you can’t be a help to your dying loved one. Overeating, excessive drinking, and sleepless nights often stem from putting the needs of your loved one before your own, as you struggle to stay afloat. 😢 Kevin Sr. navigated this difficult time with awareness and intention.😢 It shouldn’t take dying to show up and support your love one. Be a presence in a love one’s life.

Thank you Sharrell for doing this interview with Kevin Sr. I feel like the Braxton Family withe exception of Tracy’s father always treated her like “a special case”! Tracy was an Angel, in terms of her earnestly loving her entire family. When she was alive she clearly let it be known that no matter what her and her husband went through they loved each other. I feel like the Braxtons excluding her father treated her in a negative, dismissive, passive-aggressive manner!!! Tamar went out of her way to try and to antagonize Tracy to get a reaction and the run and cry victim!!! After she had antagonized Tracy to the limit! I’m glad for Tamar’s sake that she made amends to Tracy prior to her passing. I believe Tamar loved Tracy she was just grossly immature! Tracy forgave and always loved Tamar! I believe Kevin Sr. is experiencing the family’s misplaced anger because of their shortcomings in their treatment of Tracy when she was alive! I’m happy Tracy had her individual success with her album and performances as a social artist. Tracy had a beautiful voice and she was an exceptional talent! It would be nice if they could treat Tracy’s son and husband in love and respect which they didn’t show her but change their ways with the family she left behind. That would truly be healing for them as a whole family. I pray they right their path and not try and turn her son against his father. God will be watching their next steps.

I think we dance around lil Kevin's state of mind. No one will call him slow. However, he's not treated as if he's a responsible adult. He comes off mentally as a kid. I do believe that Traci was cohearsed to putting lil Kevin in charge. Those responsible know that he's mentally, physically, and spiritually weak. If something happens to him, who will be in charge of Traci's estate? I really hope his dad has some prayer warriors praying over him. I don't trust that other family.

Traci would go without makeup often. The mom never got on to Toni, but she did all the other girls. Toni filed for bankruptcy 2 times. Now who isn’t good with money? Traci knew all this.

He really does because he has proof (the public will) that the Braxtons intentionally lied about Traci’s last wishes for a viewing to paint him as a villain. Then he should also sue them and the network for breach of contract since he had one in place to be on the show this season. The Braxton clan did not want the truth to come out so they blocked him. But, I doubt he’ll sue because his priority is to help Kevin Jr heal-so suing the Braxtons will just be more drama and fuel the fire for the Braxtons to further manipulate lil Kev. Sad.

I caught the replay, good interview! I feel empathy & sympathy for Sr & Jr. I lost my husband 2 years ago & slowly his family backed away from me & I realized I was the only 1 trying to remain in contact & I stopped my contact at the beginning of the Year. I felt/feel sad & mad about it but I refuse to force myself upon them. Out of all the sisters I liked Tracy the most & was her marriage perfect no, no one's is but it was just right for her & Sr!
