      To get the fat % down enough so that you dont ger a fatty texture in the finished product

    complete waste of time, you don't need a sous vide to make great ice cream. you can skip this step and just use a double boiler, save the sous vide for your main course instead.

      Except that I just bagged it, dropped it in the bath, pulled it out, stuck in the ice bath for an hour, then into the fridge overnight. Easy as that. And, being that it’s already @ 180, bag up some veggies while your at it.
