For me, Da Nang is the best city with beautiful landscapes(beaches, mountains...), cheap things, delicious food. I will retire there after 10 years more!
Đà Lạt là nơi nghỉ dưỡng tốt,mát mẻ quanh năm
We also LOVE Da Nang! 🥰 that’s the first place in Vietnam we ever visited xx such a great place to retire.
I'm so happy you are enjoying your time in Vietnam- I moved to HCM 3 years ago- have an amazing Vietnamese wife and a new baby girl. My favorite city to visit is Hoi An, but Dalat I think is a so much better place to retire. we bought land there a year ago and plan on building a home with a beautiful view and gardens
Hi Chase and Shelbs, 19:19 I agree with you that the chicken meat in Vietnam is chewy since we call them free range chickens, which means the more exercise they get, the tougher they will be. The chewy texture will tell you the quality of the meat. Basically like people who do more exercise or go to the gym often will gain more muscle 😄 Enjoy your trip in Dalat guys!
Ohhh great to know. That actually makes us feel good about eating it since it’s not pumped with hormones or additives etc! It was one of the best chicken rice we’ve ever had 😍 yes protein for the muscle growth haha! Thank you so much, it’s been amazing 💛
As a Vietnamese American living in Texas, I always buy free-range chicken.
I loved you always Dears..
PHO , BUNH MI , coconut water, SUGARCANE , Vietnamese coffee , SAIGON , RICE PAPER ROLLs.. bubble tea Enjoy..
Lived with Viet and THAI Community in Melbourne , AUSTRALIA 2007 to 2019
NORTH Vietnamese and Southern Vietnamese Cuisine...
Cheers from #pollachi #tamilnadu #southindia
Footscray ay??
@@AznVi3tx Preston, BOX HILL, Footscray, SPRINGVALE , Brighton , Bentleigh and Clayton
21:21 The two of you eat rice, the chicken is raised naturally, not industrial chicken for eggs, so the price will be more expensive than chicken for eggs, chicken is tougher and more delicious, the price of 1kg is 79 thousand, chicken for eggs. Eggs are very cheap and meat is also delicious. not delicious. It's delicious served with salt, pepper and lemon. The price is 65 thousand for a very cheap portion 😋 Wishing you both a happy trip
That is so nice and sweet of you to support a street ice cream vendor like that. Those aren't very good but if you feel good buying it, it will taste very good still. I love those street food sellers, really value your business.
That Crazy House is wild. I appreciate your filming your trekking through its different hallways and stairs. The funniest thing is that OF COURSE THERE WOULD BE A CAFE IN THE CRAZY HOUSE.
She was such a sweet lady! 🥹
It was honestly so cool, way better than we expected. When in Vietnam.. there’s always a cafe isn’t there 😂
Thanks for the love ❤️❤️
Thanks for spreading good vibes. Watching from Philippines. ♥️♥️♥️
Anytime! Sending love to the Philippines. Thanks for watching. 😊
Love from Saigon Vietnam 😊❤
💛☀️🫶🏼
Such a clean beautiful country with delicate food and kind people.

Thank you! It’s such a beautiful city. Such a nice temperature and so many things to do and see. The yogurt is outstanding! We will have to visit you for some in Canada ;)
Hey..I was so happy to see you made it to Dalat...and love it! I went there in 2014 for a month in the end....wasonly meant to stay 3 days haha........yes the crazy house..I loved it as well......Walking round the lake is so good as well.......Thanks for bringing back the memories......I'm sure I'll return in next few years.....enjoy your travels! Martin...Bristol...england
You guys should visit "The valley of Love " and " Bao Dai King 's summer Palace" 😊
Ohhhh that sounds nice! We’ll have to look into it. 💛
The Crazy House reminds me of of Gaudi (Barcelona). 😊
What a beautiful place ❤🥰
It's amazing crazy house.
You should definitely book a limousine, it’s a minibus with more comfy seats and less people. The service are nicer as well, and I haven’t encountered any smoking drivers
Yes agreed! We took a limousine since then and it was a dream 😍
It was amazing video guys ❤ I really enjoyed it keep it up guys ❤❤❤❤ love you
Thank you Loads!! Sending love to you ❤️🥰
Most of the Vietnamese like the slightly chewy chicken or beef more than the soft/tender one . That dark brown sauce is Satay sauce . You should dip your chicken in the green sauce and don't put it in your rice . Mix some Soy sauce to the fried rice to enhance its flavor . The pine trees (larches) on the lakeshore were imported from Switzerland at the beginning of the 20th century by the French . They are different from the local ones which have thinner needles .
Super interesting! We are team tender stewed meat, it’s just so good 😍 but we have also heard when it’s chewy you get the flavour for longer which is why people like it!?
Thanks for sharing and for the tidbits of info. It’s such a beautiful lake and the trees are a nice added touch. We will have to try the soy sauce next time on the rice!
If you'll still in Dalat, try out Phê La Coffee, also they have Katinat in Dalat too.
Also there a cable car too, beautiful.
i always watch your videos it feels like iam in vietnam 💜
I was born in this city, welcome to my hometown and yes, Vietnamese people prefer chewier chicken.
Thank you!! 💛 we didn’t know Vietnamese people prefer chewy chicken. We’ve gotten a few comments saying that 😮

See you all the way on your tour Enjoy
You guys should learn Vietnamese properly. Both of you have spent a lot of time over there. I love your videos.
You aren’t wrong haha! We do our best but also visit many countries. The more words we learn start to get mixed up depending on the countries. 😜Maybe some day we will expand our vocabulary.
That’s so great!! We really appreciate it and thank you for taking the time to comment 🥰 cheers!
kommt zur Lake Danhim , dort ist schön sauber 😊😊😊
That bow of soup was for you when you get dry in your mouth because of eating rice
I love Đa Lát also, it’s nice to
It’s such a nice city! ❤️
Have a nice trip❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! 😃❤️
The road to Dalat so dangerous, especially in the rain
You guys are adorable. ❤❤❤❤
Both of u look happy. Thanks 4 sharing.😊
Aw that’s so sweet to notice, we are! 🥰Thank you for watching xx
WOW you are adventurous like LARA Croft... Shelbs
If you knew the bus number , the name of the driver ( or his employee 's number ) , the time of departure from Mui Ne , you could report and complain to the bus company office when you arrived in Dalat .
Chase took his funny pills 😂
👍👍🔥🔥
OMG! Nó như một mê cung😂😂😂
Tim Burton, on acid, couldnt design a movie set like that.
Nope I don’t think so! It’s so epic. Blew us away 🙏🏼
How much was the sleeper bus?
$10-$15 CAD per person if we can remember correctly!
The bird is eating his eyeballs 😂
😳😳
Nice city 😊😊😊
It really is! We love it. 🥹
❤
😊👍
The bus driver who's smoking on the bus is a piece of shiz, there's no smoking on buses regardless of age/gender. He has violated the rules of "no smoking" on board (buses and 4 wheels) vehicles.
The 10k ice cream is a steal, coz in any other ice cream shop the price will be at least 20k/scoop.
It was so gross. Terrible smell the whole bus ride 🤮
Yes we got such a bargain and the lady was the sweetest 🫶🏼
I.Love.you.chase
😊❤
Da Lat = hot? Ohh never :)
That’s why you will rarely see A/C anywhere..
TALK TO MAYOR MAYBE THEY CAN GIVE A LAWS THAT INSIDE IN THE BUS WILL NOT ALLOWED TO SMOKE ALREADY ... YES
Please don’t tease Shelby about the Stairs. They do look scary. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I loved this whole vlog. I do want to make comment about the gum and hygiene. I hate gum- gross. I have sensory issues and find gum chewing to be completely vomifying - both chewing and watching others masticate. I had an ex who had didn't visit the dentist but decided his gum and breath issues could be fixed by chewing gum and other mints. No. gross. Vomit.
Aw thank you! ❤️We actually try not to chew gum on camera or around people 😜 it’s just for our oral hygiene. We aren’t fans of loud gum chewing either so we try to keep it on the DL haha! My sister is the same way and hates all things chewing! You aren’t the only one. We totally get it, it can be quite intense 😋
This city is nice, but please go to Sapa and fansipan , that will blow you away! Just spent 3 weeks in vietnam over xmas, planning next trip already.
Sapa is over run with pushy locals harrasing you to buy stuff. The town of sapa though is beautiful.
Would love to visit sapa one day! We’ve heard it’s so beautiful. 😍We hope you had a great vaycay!
@ChaseandShelbs wife is vietmanese, so been travelling there for over 7 yrs now every Xmas break, always new stuff to see and do, never gets boring!
I think that house is based off the architecture of Gaudi. Not sure if it was built by him or if it's a knock off. I think it might be by Gaudi actually. His building became crazier and crazier as he went on. So if he built this, I think it'd have been very late in his career.
I'm with Shelby. Stairs aren't my thing either. I'm having an anxiety attack in sympathy.
Ohhh cool to know!?
Yeah it’s super scary, one slip and it’s game over.. no thanks 😂
in Vietnam we call them buses "quan tai bay " or ( flying coffin ). The roads from HCMC to Mui Ne are mostly expressways , so you would be going quite fast, and there are no motorbikes on expressways. the roads to Da lat is very different because it have quite a few scooters jumping out of the bushes or blind corners , so drivers usually honk a lots , especially when they come to blind spots or suspecting scooters jumping out on intersections.
15:11 - At this point, the guy cooking has ditched you for the 2nd time. Do that to me, and I'll immediately turn my back and walk away without saying anything. I hate rude people. You patronize their business but they give you the attitude. He could''ve endorsed you politely to the lady.
what software or app do you guys use to do your coverpage?
Hope to meet u guys in Danang one day 😊😊
❤️❤️
I love your guys video a lot.
btw can you share the hotel link where you stayed, please?
Thank you
Have a nice trip in Vietnam !!!
Thank you so much! It’s called “Khách sạn Vespa” ❤️
Các bạn thử lên Hà Giang thăm cánh đồng hoa xem sao nha
All those wooden structures remind me of scout and guide days during school days
Shelb is a babe
Welcome to my hometown, hope you have a nice trip there
Beauty video! Curious what was the temp there?
Thanks! At this time it was around 25 degrees at the hottest time in the day. Super enjoyable 😊☀️
