Fatal (From Another Time Another Land) is the 2E of Fatal. There's an earlier 1st edition called Fatal (Fantasy Adventure To Adult Lechery). If you're doing a rewrite, you're working on the 3rd-ed.
I would like to nominate Our Wandering Home, Yeez bnb, Wanderhome and all their ilk mutually for the bloodied facemask disguise award for not knowing what a rpg actually is
I played quite a few of Notepads games this year. Spending a lot of time with God Killing Swords, Iudicis Lux, Metal Saviors, and a few others. My Awards are: The Golden Goku Doll, the best game for just slapping OCs at each other goes to God Killing Swords for being the best TRPGs to capture the "character action/spectacle fighter" genre I've played in recent memory. The I Can't Believe It's Not Copyright Infringement Award goes to Schola Maleficarum. While I spent much more time Metal Saviors, the Ars Magica meets Wizard Game game has just a downright lovely magic system. The Wait This Isn't an ERP Game beats out the game that would have won last year if I did these awards, Iudicis Lux. Instead going to The Unofficial Blue Archive RPG. Though were I to run it again, I think I would create my own city and fill it expies of canon girls from all over the gacha fandom instead of playing it straight out of the book. Finally The Golden steveman, the award for my favorite game Notepad has made, goes to Iudicis Lux. While it doesn't appeal to my group as much as say Blue Archive or God Killing Sword, it plays with a genre near and dear to my heart. Lewd nuns. Also about my own game: I have gotten A LOT of testing in and finalized a core engine that I am actually happy with. I completed a small setting guide to be the framework for the actual game I want to make with it. Fandom wiki screwed me over, so I had to recompile everything from notes, but I'm now actually writing the finalized rulebook for it. Looking this as a positive, its becoming a really good chance to edit everything, clean up a few things I was iffy about, and again completely rewrite my magic system AGAIN. All things considered, 2024 is set up to be a good year for stevemangames.
Even if your likes and views are low, those opnions and recomedations are gold to me please don't ever stop making videos and Trpg's anon, thanks for everything this year! (Sorry for bad english im from Brasil)
Qfter God knows how much editing and playtesting I released my first game, Knights of the Stars, on itch this year. Not done with it yet but I'm happy with what I made.
The Fazbear Award was going to have Garten of Banban music but I couldn't find a good version of it. I will continue to gaslight and you cannot stop me.
Given your unique approach to both making tabletop RPGs and reviewing them in equal measure (personally I still love your Little Opinions videos, your "How to make a TTRPG" series, and various game development/Curious Case streams in equal measure and I look forward to the day you'll do a Curious Case of Palladium MegaVersal RPGs video since I've been recently getting into RIFTS's rather "kitchen sink approach" to both setting and mechanics), that it's helped inspire and motivate me not just as an artist, but as someone who decided to also make games for the fun of it. Happy new year to you, Notepad Anon. Keep on making both wonderfully made TRPGs and waxing poetic about your opinions regarding others in this industry. P.S.: I happen to not like PbtA and the most recent edition of a certain "dragon game" as well, so at least I'm always down to look forward to what kind of crazy, niche, and all around unique tabletop role-playing experience you'll either write down or talk about. RIFTS is tee greatest game of all time and I'll die on that hill. I have genuinely debated and have struggled with -how- to do a Palladium case more than anything.
Those are some well-deserved winners. And an awards ceremony after my own heart. Anytime there's a "What's your favorite games of [year]?" I have to check which of the purchases I've enjoyed the most are _actually_ from that year.
Did not expect to see the USSR Jank, but a very pleasant surprise still, glad ye enjoyed looking/duwanging it. Also prolly one of my favourites vids of yours now.
