You are really down bad for the Seeker Sisters huh? I respect that.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to finally playing Trails to Azure for the first time and as a person who played through all the Cold Steel games(and Sky games too) I'm looking forward to seeing events I've only read about/heard from characters in the CS games for myself! I'm sure it's gonna be a wild ride and I'm prepared to sink in over 100 hours into another great Trails game!

I'm actually more of a fan of that specific art of the seeker sisters than I am of them lol, noel is great but 90% of it is the hat, (Ilya Platiere, Tio and the CS design for sully are also cute crossbell girls)
Yeah I'm glad I can finally fill out this last gap in the trails series it feels like a long time coming, got alot of projects this march and early april to sort out tho so I might be taking my time with this one

I'm glad it's finally out so now me and a bunch of other people can finally play this arc to completion. It's gonna be great. The Trails series is best when you take your time with it. Looking at my hours with each game, I know I sure do lol

This is one of those franchises that has completely passed me by. I have Trails of Cold Steel on my PS3 and I think I've put about ten minutes into it, but there's been a ton of games in this series it seems. I'll have to give it a other go.
Great review. Nihon Falcom is lucky to have fans as passionate about their games here in the west as you. I just don't see that many critics put in the time and give such meticulous reviews as you do. Good job!
If you're really looking to get arrested, I was a cop for 8 years and a jailer for 2. I still maintain my licenses, and I can assure you, it would be a thoroughly unpleasant experience. You're over there in Camelot or wherever they call it, but I guess I could be a 'bobby' for the day or something.
Looking forward to the Raidou 2 review. It's a MUCH better game than the first one, but not without its quirks. If they just did a third game, they could probably work out the issues and actually make a really good game. I'll keep holding my breath until that happens. Same for Devil Survivor 3.
P.S. I still recommend checking out the GILL Studio covers of the Raidou games music. He might be willing to let you use his covers in your review if you credit him. That, and they're absolutely incredible.
Considering I know how much you like older games I fully recommend the trails series I think the sky and crossbell arcs would resonate with you from what I know
I wouldn't say I'm that meticulous but I do my best haha

Nice review, totally agree. A look into the Kuro port would be much appreciated. I was thinking of finally upgrading my PC for Kuro, but if it runs equally if not better than CS IV this wouldn't be the point where I'm forced to.

yeah I should of mentioned I'm using a gtx1060 in the vid to make it a bit easier to tell where the port stands but it definately felt alot better than my time with the CS3 and 4 ports, shadows I think are the main thing you wanna turn down but you can adjust the resolution, the filter and the different parts of them indvidually
I'll just need to find a way to translate the menus so I can actually do a video
@@Kraftium Yeah, I'd be interested in fiddling around with the settings. I got an RX 6600XT, but the resolution of my ultrawide monitor is quite demanding. Don't want to scale down from native resolution, though. Considering the current prices for graphics cards I want to postpone an upgrade as long as possible. : D
Thanks for mentioning the drama CD, it sounds like just what I need to get my trails fix for the moment while I wait for Azure. I just finished Zero the other day and I've been in agony trying to fill the one week gap until release day. It honestly gives me mad respect for all the longtime western fans who've had to wait an entire decade for this.
Ey no problem, I'd also give the zero no kiseki: ring of judgement manga one-shot a look if you haven't
Its about Estelle and Joshua and links Sky 3rd to Zero, whilst also introducing a character who shows up in Cold Steel 1, and 2 more characters who make appearences in the Cold Steel 2 drama CD and again in Cold Steel 4
Trails to Azure grabbed me hard… until the Finale. There is so much wrong in the Finale that it makes me wonder why people moan about the curse plotline so much when the supernatural aspect of Azure is worse IMO, and the motivations of the characters and time allotted to them are all over the place. It made CS4 actually straightforward in my eyes in comparison. And Lloyd just refused to have character progression. Even Estelle grew and matured through her journey, and Rean suffered and struggled along his path. Lloyd was just… the same boring cookie cutter protag.

its just these 2 have an awkward situation with them and are old enough the switch isn't exactly struggling in any department
