I am 58 and have washed my face with Dove soap for my entire life. Nivea cream (the German one), Vaseline on my lips and lashes (at night). I look 40, I am told, and my skin is great. I know it's different for everyone but that's how I roll.

Reading these comments I honestly believe that all the people saying that they just use regular bar soap or Dove, just naturally have great skin! It’s not the soap, it’s you! You have great skin
When I was young I had acne, my Doctor told me to start washing my face with cold water and bar soap. It worked for me .

SJP looks great! You can tell she is taking care of her self. I really like that she’s aging more naturally and didn’t get a cookie cutter face from the doctor’s office (no shade if you did though. Boots makes the best under eye patches I’ve ever used.
I've only ever used soap & water & moisturiser (non expensive) I'm 62 & have no blemishes on my skin & only wrinkles around my eyes
My husband uses soap. I use Dove when I have makeup to remove, and Vanicream on the days I don't. I have rosacea so I have to be careful with scented things.
I've never seen an SJP interview that didn't make me like her more

My grandmother only ever used Dove soap. Her skin was flawless and aged beautifully.
