Whe have common origins with the ottomans, but later they killed half of Hungary, so we dont like them too much. Turkish people say we are brothers-sisters, they have beautiful memories.... 😄

Ay, pero me gustaría cogerme una
Si pudiera encontrar una buena
Si es buena, si es hermosa,
Y encontrar a mi viejo amante.

Y desde el fondo del mar,
Recogería una pequeña perla
Y para mi viejo amante
Ataría una corona de perlas.

Hungarian is a very mysterious language, the roots of which are a strange mix of oriental and Nordic origins. Also they were under the Ottomans for a period, undoubtedly influenced by them.
They hated the Ottomans and sent them all back to The Hell they shouldn't have never left! 😡🤬😡😡
Whe have common origins with the ottomans, but later they killed half of Hungary, so we dont like them too much. Turkish people say we are brothers-sisters, they have beautiful memories.... 😄
The Indo-European language tree has many branches, Hungarian is probably one of them.
I speak several Indian languages and find this song beautiful.
Namaste!
@@himanv they are not Indo-European. They are Finno-Ugrian
.

Love, love, Damned agony, Why didn't you blossom The top of every tree? On the top of every tree, on the leaves of a walnut tree, That it would have split, Every girl and boy. Mer' I broke up too, I missed it too, I broke it up too, And I missed it too. Oh, but I would still break up, If I found it good, If good, if beautiful, For my old lover. And, my old lover, What would I not do, I would scoop water from the sea with a spoon. And from the bottom of the sea, I would pick tiny pearls, And for my old lover, I would tie a pearl wreath.

Are there pearl necklaces in Hungarian traditional costume?
All of you who love this song, just look for the Kolinda version of it. Quite different, but I believe you'll enjoy it too...
