For me its the 40000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 releases that all come out at once and I get that FOMO action, and it absolutely crushes me.

Yeah it's the best time ever to be a music fan but that comes with a lot of hard work. 😂

I listen to lots of different music. From Pink Floyd and Dire Straits to Megadeth and Metallica to Tool or Linkin Park. Lately I have discovered Ren. He's amazing. He sings, raps, plays rhythm and lead acoustic and electric guitar, bass, piano, and his lyrics are intense. Very.
I never got into black metal or death metal but I love lots of the 80s and 90s metal because I grew up hearing it when it was new. If i get bored with any style of music I switch. No prob.

Same here, I used to listen to multiple different genres over the course of a day growing up. It's only the past few years that I've discovered the joy of really engaging seriously with one specific style of music.

Rarely feel those "metal slumps" but nice ideas. Actually, right now, weirdly I feel a little tired of black metal at the expense of brutal death metal - probably cause I BM is having pretty underwhelming year (Dodheimsgard excluding)

I used to not understand it at all but I think (somewhat ironically) since I've started reviewing they've become more common. Glad you don't deal with it! I actually really like slam and brutal death metal myself, I just don't review them for whatever reason haha. That new Ophiocordyceps record is outstanding.
