SUNWARD Intelligent Equipment Group was founded in the People's Republic of China in 1999 by Mr. He Quinghua, a charismatic and innovative Professor at the Central South University. In 2011, the company was renamed., Ltd. - with headquarters in Changsha City, the capital and most populous city of Hunan Province in south-central China.
Today, SUNWARD boasts over 200 products in its global range. In only 20 years, the company has secured its place among the top players globally, generating an annual turnover of nearly $1 billion in 2019. About Sunward Europe
In addition to being a huge market, Europe plays a strategic role for SUNWARD in the context of global expansion. SUNWARD started activities in Europe in the early 2000s, and the decision to penetrate the market vigorously was taken in 2015 with the opening of the company’s European branch in Beringen, Belgium (in the Province of Limburg). In 2021, to follow the company ambitions and strong growth, SUNWARD Europe decides to move to a bigger place in Tessenderlo. Belgium is a strategic location for SUNWARD in the heart of Europe: 45 minutes from Brussels International Airport and 60 minutes from the port of Antwerp.
The second important step in the development of the European market was taken at the beginning of 2020 with the appointment of Arnaud Berthier as CEO of SUNWARD Europe. Mr. Berthier has enhanced his team with local experts in all of the company’s strategic departments: Sales, Service support, Parts, Administration, Marketing, and so on.
SUNWARD is also growing its dealer network to be even closer to customers. Today, the company covers all of Europe (including Turkey and Israel) with over 100 partners in 30 countries - and the intention is to double this network by 2023 to provide optimal technical support to all end-customers. The ambition of SUNWARD Europe is to install the SUNWARD brand in a sustainable manner on the entire European market in the years to come.
Today, from its European headquarters, SUNWARD Europe provides machines and spare parts throughout the European market. Moreover, SUNWARD machines and parts enjoy exceptional availability: machines can be delivered very quickly to local dealers, and SUNWARD’s partners benefit from quick and easy access to a large parts distribution center in Tessenderlo. Thus, SUNWARD Europe can guarantee an availability rate of 95% for spare parts, as well as delivery within 24 hours all over Europe.
In its European headquarters, SUNWARD also has the ability to customize the machines for the European market: fitting all necessary attachments and options like tilt rotators, lubrication systems, Telematics systems, etc.
