Shandong China Coal and Machinery Company Mini Excavator Unboxing, First Impressions, and Initial Review. Picked up in Kent Washington at Terminal Transfer and then trailered home to Montana and then put to work.
China Coal Alibaba Link: chinacoalmachine.en.alibaba.com/
Customs broker I used: kenny@klinkusa.com
Gas Powered Min Garden Digger import, imported from China. Chinese Excavator review, demo in Montana. Imported to Seattle, West Coast, Tacoma, Portland, ocean freight.
To calculate Price:
Alibaba Machine Price with freight (only from Manufacture to ship)
Custom Fee Add 25%
ocean Freight $700- $1000 Depending on Port
Bond, Filing Fees, Transfer Holding Fee & Misc add $500
and that should be a pretty close estimate of final cost.

@Velie's Hunting Camp exactly!
Racists*
@Velie's Hunting Camp calm down pilgrim
@Velie's Hunting Camp american companies have abandoned their workers and moved overseas.
It's got way too much hydraulic oil in it, you have to stretch out their arm so all the rams are closed, but all the rams are open and the oil gauge shows there's already waiting much oil in it
I have an HT10 China mini Excavator. I used it to dig up a water hydrant, and it worked well. There was no way i could hand dig it, as i was dealing with clay. Only trouble I had was the mud sticking to the bucket. I have the regular grease fittings, and I added a hydraulic cylinder to the thumb. I have the post hold digger and quick attachment, and it digs holes better than they 3pt tractor post hole digger! 1.5 gallons lasted me about 4 hours of run time. Very cheap to operate!
That's a small farm dream machine. I love it!! Want one.
Interesting subject; somebody(s) have been importing new Chinese mini-excavators by the hundreds and they have been showing up in auction yards by the dozens. Almost all are the 1-ton size with 12~13 HP Briggs and Stratton gas engines, some have swing booms and some have thumbs. I bid on a unit in Sacramento, CA last year for $4750 and by the time I paid all the fees and my fuel to pick it up I was into it for a shade under $6K. Came with a tool kit but no manual. So far it's worked fine, controls aren't quite as nice as a name-brand unit but it gets the job done. Only problem was a loose hose under the deck that sprayed some hyd. oil around but an easy fix and prompted me to go over everything with a wrench. Nothing else was loose though. Yes they run warm, this machine came with an electric fan for the hyd. oil cooler.
Just saw one in sabanal TX auction he said he'd take 7 thousand. But china sells it to port for 3,100 dollars.
@@admathaideasrcwwoidtke3221it’s almost 7k by the time you pay all the stupid US taxes and pay for the bureaucracy
Does anyone need a small electric loader? 1150 weight, 600kg lifting weight. Matching equipment can complete shovel, clamp, bracket, fork, dig and other work tasks, the important thing is that it is cheap and easy to use. $3,120
Good luck on getting parts
You can get parts anywhere. Everything is off-the-shelf. As simple to repair as could be imagined.
Somewhere in China there's a guy at the factory wondering where he left his toolbox
Nice 😊 😂
I love mine. They sell them at auctions for about $4200 out the door (including ca sales tax and auction fee). Everyone should have one.
I actually really like this little beastie. As long as you use it within it's designed spec, it should be useful for quite some time. My concern about importing one is driven around the availability of spare parts a few years out from now (think the way that cubans keep American cars going from the 1950's). As long as you don't mind fabricating replacement pieces if needed, it seems like a good buy.
The fact that they make a machine for around $10k that can do the work of 10 men per hour
That you can haul with a 2010 chevy traverse is pretty cool
Dude! The Jack Trick? Never would have thought of it and I love it! Thank you!
Yeah, that was pretty good!
man, that little thing is cool and well worth the money I looked at the site and talked with the wife and I'm okay to buy something whoot lol thanks for the video my friend.
Right off the bat... Check every bolt!
Dude! That thing sweet brother yes TOTALLY IGNORE haters... I'd bet not one of them has ever sat in a mini x. For a home owner that thing is sweet, AND has B&S motor... Could you perhaps provide cost including shipping? Rad video!
were gonna def need a long term review follow up a year from now
I gonna buy one for my kids, have them make a pond or something in the backyard, teach them something useful
I’m anxious to get my boy running it!
I think my boy can reach the pedals, so he’ll be on it this spring. Kinda like getting a kid their first tricycle. I am beyond sure he will destroy it, better that than my expensive ones.
I would want to get a chunk of plate steel to use as a shield for those motors, and weld some brackets onto it to bolt into the same bolts that hold the motors on either side of the track system. It could just bolt right on and span the entire rear of the track, covering those motors. Would be worth it and potentially save you from screwing one or both of those motors up on a boulder.
look very impressive for a tiny digger. Very compact.
This was great info. Thank you.
Could use one right now! You know, if you don't over work the little thing, work within it's limitations and keep in mind the areas not all well shielded, change oil, filters and grease regularly, it should last for quite some time (I think). 😎
14:02 if you can, waterjet a 2 piece cover. The clear surface on the big gear could serve as a sealing surface if you use rubber on the edge of the cover. The guard for the gears looks thick enough for the cover plate to be screwed on with threaded holes.
Should you tell us, how much it costs? how did you order it ? any problem with customs clearance or logistic?
I should (-= it was $3500 Machine + $2100 Fees. Watch for info on how I imported: ruclips.net/video/7WwHM0TlrJY/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/b-j3XNO5JGI/видео.html to see it digging and ruclips.net/video/f4r7EZn66k4/видео.html for my first time using it
at 0:14 was the hi-lo pushing your car with the E-brake on or was the parking pawl crying?
Is it strong enough to dig a stump. I'd want it for yamadori collecting.
Very informative video. For one fourth the price of a Kubota I think this is just great.
Nice, I’d love to have one to play with around the yard
I think that would be perfect to dig out new foundations, or maybe to bury plumbing in an unfinished garage. I could use it to travel in old buildings to knock out walls. I'd probably build a ROPS for it though.
Looks well made to me!
That meter on the side actually reads C and F, wondering if thats not the hidraulic level meter, but the temperature meter.
What was the purchase price? What was the shipping cost? I do like that it's a little workhorse, nice job breaking down and the step by step
Your house is amazing!
I bought a copper granulator through the same process, shipping broker. It would have been cheaper (found out after the fact) for me to have it direct shipped to my door. Do your research on shipping before finalizing the paperwork. Going through a broker cost me another $1000.00 with fees. The manufacturer will usually have a freight fowarder that will handle direct shipping.
Ok I'd like to get one of these, and install a 2 stage log splitter pump, wonder if you could set the stage over enough to be able to track straight at a higher speed.... what is the pump gpm specs?
The reason that you had hydraulic oil on top of the tank it leak through the cap which it is vented so pressure doesn't build up in the tank, with the bouncing around on the ship and at the warehouse and on your trailer. It looks like the tank was over filled if you can't see the oil line on the sight glass then it is over filled. Good luck with your new toy.
good for house work nice buy
You could built a skid plate to protect the drive motors and undercarriage.
Nice!! Been wanting one of these!
Love it. enjoy ur new machine
Thanks
Interesting experiment. 180 thousand views on a channel with less then 900 subs. You hit the lottery with the youtube algorithm 😅
how fun is this ❤
Nice little trencher or small timber handler. Probably be better off rehabbing a neglected digger for the cash but im impressed tbh. I thought it would be a joke.
It's so cute looking 😛
If you have an Apple phone, I know there is a way to use the phone camera to view text and have the phone translate it. My Chinese wife frequently does this to read English language labels to help her make sense of what she doesn't understand... maybe this can help you skim your manual...
I press enter to quick, where can I get one, directly from alibaba? Are they reliable? Asking these questions due to a friend of mine who never got his order.
You have a beautiful home.
now that i will agree with
Love it can you say the price of the machine or would you rather not i understand either way but very cool
I've been thinking about buying the towable excavator from Norther Tool and welding it to the top of a zero turn lawnmower.
that just may be genius
Don't worry about getting her stuck in the mud. You can just pick it up and put it in your pocket!!
Where would you take this for warranty repair and parts? Do they have service centers and mobile techs in your area and are parts available in the US? I have read that buying Chinese equipment is hard to warranty and get parts. Let me know.
theyd probably want pictures, then ship you parts and from there you're on your own.
Jack idea to center it. Pretty clever.
Essa máquina e top 10 👍👍
For smal project is a good equipment, and price affordable for buyers....
Cool! Amazed this video has caused so much crying lol
It may tear up eventually but it also looks easy to work on and cheap. I like it!!
Kinda what I thought, plus I’ve had lawn mowers that cost more, so it was worth trying
Way better than digging by hand!!! Looks pretty good to me. Cheers!!!!
I was thinking of one of these for my grandson for his sandbox.
Hahahahahaaha 🎉😮😂
I need to get me one of these. My buddy imported a vehicle and was a long and difficult process.
Looks like it was built withe same stuff they built the Erector sets out of we used to get for Christmas in the 60s 😂ie heavy duty aluminum foil!
12:55 could easily fabricate a couple of bash guards and put longer bolts through the motor into the frame.
Great idea 💡
Whatcha gonna do with the wood ?
lol Shandong :) i just bought a Well drill from them awaiting delivery.. Hope it gets here okay cause i badly need water in this California desert.
Leave California.. it's only going to get worse.
All the people saying this 10,000 machine isn't as good as a $40,000 machine form a name brand... All I can say is no shit. This thing will do just fine for small jobs for a quarter the price.
They cost around $4k at auctions. Check barnone auctions in Sacramento or others. Including an English manual.
If that was mine Id be using non-ethanol fuel. Its the ethanol that kills the carbs in these small engines.
especially for that little extra money as it won't use much fuel
Too cool dude. I watched this fully, and I can tell it wont be one for heavy digging but it seems good for light work. How much does one of these cost?
$3500 machine plus $2100 fees
ok.. a tool kit of a sort but manual is in chinese mandran or cantoese or haklo or??
Turns out Google lens can translate it 😁
If you wanted to increase your fuel capacity you could mount a 5 gallon fuel tank on top. Good luck!
looks good to me man looks decent
It is cheap junk and wont last.
Quick question on the Ocean Freight, when they “the seller” say the cost to ship CIF to whatever port in the US, that’s only really to the ship in Qingdao port?
Correct, I ordered two machines: One from China Coal and one from Rippa and this was the case for both. One was $650 (Tacoma) and the other $775 (Seattle)
Not bad at all for the money
Ive been trying to navigate webb to look at purchasing this mini haveing trouble figuring it out any tips on process?
Email Sophia info@wxfaith.com and ask her for a price on the same machine as Jake has on eBay, I think she’ll know. FYI upgrade to hydraulic thumb!!!
IDK if you've been back to the listing but the company seems to have enjoyed your video so much they used clips of it in their listing now 🤣
I was hoping to see where the battery was placed and how well it was held down, and accessable for maintenance.
Since I know it will be months between uses, I'm planing on installing a Tee in the gas line to the carburetor, with a valve to drain the tank back into a storage can, then run the carb dry. Just trying to stop the crud tar that develops in the carb when the gas evaporates. So far this has worked on the snow blowers and chain saws. Don't need to do it on the mowers, as the gas does not evaporate in the winter. Probably more depends on how cool the storage is during the summer months.
Battery is accessed by removing the left panel and it held down by a standard bar and bolt system
Use ethanol free gas, and you are fine.
How much was it?
What was the total cost
good way to blow out your parking pin by pushing against the car like that. should have your parking E brake on very tight to prevent movement and pressor on the parking pins.
I was a forklift operator at a warehouse and we told people that we could only load deck over trailers without fenders. But people are stupid and they all have cheap lawnmower trailers with fold down wire mesh tailgates, and they all made dumb excuses. And then they got mad when it wasn't loaded exactly like they pictured in their minds. But I often asked them to put the car in neutral and just hold the brakes while I pushed it on from the back. But with a 4 ft tailgate that would bend if I hit it, it was always a pain.
For such a small engine why run 87. Put premium in small engines
So how much did it cost?
Can you show how to turn it on?
They forgot to ship your roof
you have a nice house
Thanks 😊
So what was your total cost. I know here in the states can buy for around 10,000 plus tax no attachments.
I second that. Very interesting
Third that!
Depend's on attachments, Port, freight & Storage fees.... 6-8K and several month waiting
I am going to be 20k landed on a 2 ton machine with cab and most of the available accessories. The resellers look to add around 25 percent maybe to the cost and are not as close as the pickup place for mine. So not a bad deal to buy from the resellers. The machine I bought looks to start around 23k without accessories or upgrades if I bought us stock.
Awesome man it is alot better than swinging a pick and shovel enjoy
How much did you pay for this?
Que precio tiene ya con envio ,gracias
could you make a video explaining how you went though the shipping and getting it over here? I am just wondering..I was really thinking about ordering one of these..but never had anything like this shipped before..that wasnt though like amazon lol thank you for the viedo have a great one..
yes, but it might be a while.
Really it was about finding the right people to get it done.
The sales rep I used was
Sophia Zhou info@wxfaith.com
You can contact her to purchase. You can use my machine for reference.
Have her send you an official Alibaba order, so you have Alibaba assurance and pay via PayPal or credit card
The have Sophia send the sales info to Kenny (customs broker)
kenny@klinkusa.com walked me through all the customs, freight and storage
kenny@klinkusa.com
Kenny actually paid all the frieght, customs, filing fees, transfer fee… and I just had to wire him funds (that was the biggest moment of 🤞🏻faith)
It took about 70 days from order to received
there are a few videos if you search. I watched those and then just strarted talking to nuoman which is a brnd a few yt ers have and they really held my hand through the process. Just know that you want to buy or are serious first, Fees that will be on top of purchase price will be around 1k plus 25% tax on the machine
Posted a video on how I imported as requested: Six Steps to Import video
Very nice and I am going to buy one , small business or homeowner os perfect!!!!
Does anyone need a small electric loader? 1150 weight, 600kg lifting weight. Matching equipment can complete shovel, clamp, bracket, fork, dig and other work tasks, the important thing is that it is cheap and easy to use.
Where's the initial startup clip and test run?? Was waiting for that
It’s in another video, check out my channel to see more
Homesteading Uncontained here on RUclips just did a review after owning one for a year.
That traverse is heavy if it can hold a mini excavator 👍🏻
(Yes I liked my own comment)
1 ton
Wow
Have you found a producer that makes a bulldozer or similar for clearing and grading?
Nope
agt mini skid steer
Perfect for a small home in the country
Bet that thang will do two flower beds….. easy…..
I'm from Montana as well. Would love an opportunity to see this thing in person.
How wide is crate and how long ?
Thanks
PS what is your specs
Don’t remember exactly, approximately 4’ w x 5’t x 1 1’ long and 2000lbs
Caterpillar got nuthin on you……!
Balls of Steel….
Love it!
Hi ow much and from where .. what site?
Watch my 6 steps to import for all that info
The video you shot is great, I like it very much, I have subscribed to your account
Screw the haters man, they crying about buying this but forget where over half the clothes, shoes, phones, etc coke from. 😂 it’s either this or spend 10x the money for the same size here in the us that are barely assembled here 😂
It's going to last a lot longer than the China made stuff and be a lot better made... grandpa always said, "we aren't rich enough to buy cheap tools".
You can easily add the hydraulic thumb parts your self
If i can find the right size DIN connectors….
@@jakebell1947 right might try to contact the company you ordered from may be able to purchase a kit off them
Nice video. I start importing them as well, good money right there. I sold 4 units so far so good. Keep us update 🎉
