Hey Bro' I have a Dash cap on my 77 280z. I am going to repair my original dash since I have learned how to do it from RUclips videos like yours. Never even thought about it, and with the cover, out of sight outta mind 😁
Nice dude! I'm always watching your videos. I was gonna laminate my dash cap with carbon fiber but I realized it was going to be too shinny (specially on sunny days). I think floking is the way to go. Nice to see your project making progress. (I'm installing weather stripping and wiring on my 260-2jz)
Nice!! Question. I've seen other people people flocking right after sanding/bondo the original one. What made you buy the cover and flocking the cover?
I originally wasn’t going to fix the dash, I was just going to use the cover. But then I fixed the dash and couldn’t sell the cover, so I just used it. Shouldn’t be any issues with flocking over your bondo/primer dash
Your girl friend has come along way learning how to help with this entire project....great for her.

How’s the dash held up mate ?
Great
What type of black paint did you use?
Paint comes with the flocking kit when you buy it
@@StewartMotoring awesome! Thanks for the reply!
Paint it with diy bed liner.
How durable is it ?
I mean, don't drop a hammer on it. But you can rub hard with your hands and it doesn't brush off.
