Sorry everyone, I said the krx has 3 click adjustment on the shocks. That’s incorrect, it has multiple click adjustment. I was thinking of our rmaxx with the 3click adjustment
It was cool to meet y’all ! KRX is a beast of a well made machine . I had 3 Kawasaki Brute Force ATVs. I’d love to have one if it was more sporty and forced induced. The X3s have had significant updates since yalls 2018. Starting in 2022 even my base model got the upgraded cage , frame , double shear rear knuckles , AND SmartLok locking front diff . Two years with zero issues until the weak factory brittle secondary rollers gave up after me and Lee left y’all. The PDrive Primary I installed on my base 120 completely eliminated the 5100 RPM clutch rattle from the QRS clutch . It debuted on the 2022 RRs and is now standard on the base 135hp models . I’m still on my factory brake pads and they’re still fine so far after two years . If I traded right now it’d be an X3 XRC RR. The RCs are super nicely featured. I 100% agree the overall quality edge goes to the KRX for sure ! It’d get pushed harder though with another 50-100hp lol. I’m a bigggg fan of anything Japanese built and both Polaris and Can Am need to step it up overall for the prices . I love my new outlander 1k XT but of course my Grizzly and Suzuki KingQuad 750 were built significantly better . Great review and hope to see everyone up there again soon !
A thought for the light bar whistle… loosen it off just a bit and when you hit the highway you can angle it down a little bit and normally that fixes the whistle and then just reach up and angle it back when back on the trails.
I rented a KRX for a week and bought a 2021 X3 RR even being over priced and not as many standard features because the X3 fit my driving style much better. Your review was well done but a lot of the features you mentioned are added weight to me. The KRX is a well built fine machine. If I didn't do more rally style driving I would have considered buying one.
Man great video. I watched the entire thing. Shame about the Can-Am issues. Not cool. I have always thought if I ever get a SxS I would love to have a KRX or an RMAX. What model RMAX do you have? Will we get a review video of it? Pros/Cons compared to the KRX? Good stuff man. Loved this video.
I have 1800 on mine no issues the only thing I had was the old clutch on my 23 Ol yea mine has fox lsc 24 adjustable shocks noticed you said yours had the 3 position
We looked at the KRX but was just to big for what we wanted. That's good price you paid, when we were looking just base KRX was $23,000. That was back in December, we ended up getting 2023 Polaris RzR xp1000. Got it street legal so 99 percent driving on the road and at campground we seasonal at. But sure do like those KRX and all your videos. Wish we had trail systems you all have.
Question about the wiper. Is that where it sits on the windshield when not using it? Just looks a little high like it would get in the passengers line of sight.
Question: you had a RZR and now this what if any is the driver seat and area difference? I have sat in the XP 1000 but not this. I'm thinking about this as my next toy. Your input would be appreciated. Alos, you have no rear screen window, do you think one is needed? I live in the desert so maybe it is different here.
Hey there I have never owned a RZR so I am not sure. We had a rear screen but took it off because of speakers, lol. We might try and add it back on for winter. The KRX gets pretty hot in the cab in the summer so it was nice having it open. I hope this helps some what :)
When you adjusted the shocks, did you have to remove them? And did you adjust the crossovers also? Iv have been thinking about adjusting mine for a little more ride height.
How do you deal with springs sagging? I guess that is part of why they ride good for a while and the reason why Kawi has not changed them to something that doesn't sag??
That’s a great question, it was decided that we would change out the tender springs when we put on the bigger tires. That greatly helped with the sag, but did make for a stiffer ride.
Use SUV door trim on the light bar fins.. We have a video on our channel on that with our build.. You're probably in the time frame where tender springs upgrade is soon. Looking at your empty bed and seeing how low your rear sits, I'd bet you have about 13 inches of clearance loaded. We went with shock therapy and they are amazing. If you have someone you know with a KRX and shock therapy, give it a test drive. She's a pretty machine and glad to see and hear your happiness
How do you like the KRX vs the Rmaxx? I’ve been looking into a few different models and like what I hear about the Rmaxx but really like the look of the KRX
Hey! This is a great question!!! We have been meaning to do comparison video of these 2 rigs! Been too busy riding lol. They both are capable on the same trails, each one has different advantages. KRX def more sporty. But having the box on the RMAX is nice for more storage. The crawl mode on the RMAX is great for the type of trail riding we do; but the KRX goes just about anywhere without it. Hope to get a more detailed video out for you guys real soon!
I know this video is a year old ... However, the light bar brackets could be swapped from left to right and vice versa to lower the height of the light bar and might help the whistle issue but also will lower the overall height as well. Just a thought, and sorry if it's already been said and tried.
Guess I should have waited to comment. Had the same tire issue. The valve stems were the culprit. I replaced the Schrader valves and it was fixed. Throw a little soapy water on the Schrader valve
I have been going back and forth between one of these or the X3 myself. The krx really is a better machine in a lot of ways, the only real drawback to guys like me that live in the desert and more open terrain is a lack of horsepower. A lot of the guys I would ride with including some buddies of mine all have newer X3's that are 195 to 200 + horsepower. The suspension and horsepower is a real thrill of a ride. If I was riding somewhere back east or mostly Moab type stuff, hands down I would get the krx. I do question the Can-Am reliability and durability, no doubt about that. But again that 200 horsepower is an absolute blast. I'm just afraid around here I may not be happy with the performance of the krx. Appreciate your Insight.
I have a 23 Matt Black special edition KRX....super comfortable and spacious buggy....very strong and we'll built....but same complaint as everyone else.....0 to 60 in 10 minutes
Kawasaki built their suspension to last. Even the older teryx had bigger arms, tie rods and ball joints. My buddy put lots of miles on his and never touched the suspension or steering components.
If you wanted all that stuff on the x3 you should have bought the RC model Your comparing apples and oranges. to match the power of the x3 you need to add a 5000 dollar super charger.
I have a 2020 problems with clutch junk Kawasaki was no help at all .If I didn't love the machine I would dump it but I'm going to spend 1400 on new clutch
Stock fender flares are horrible and the heater is useless unless you put a full can enclosure. I don’t see how your legs don’t smack the speakers. I have a 23 KRX and there’s no room down at the legs for speaker. Why you still running the crap stock tires
Sorry everyone, I said the krx has 3 click adjustment on the shocks. That’s incorrect, it has multiple click adjustment. I was thinking of our rmaxx with the 3click adjustment

Great to meet you as well Joe! 😁

Great idea! Will def try it
What fender flares do you have on the front?
OEM extended flares

Awesome thanks 4 watching. The X3 is BA machine

Thanks for watching! 2022 RMAX2 1000 XT-R. Planning to do a side by side comparison this summer 😁
I have 1800 on mine no issues the only thing I had was the old clutch on my 23 Ol yea mine has fox lsc 24 adjustable shocks noticed you said yours had the 3 position
Good to hear 💯
You are correct our RMAX has a 3 click the KRX has multi click shocks. Sorry about that 😁
How do you Find the power in this machine enough after coming from a turbo
It’s got plenty of power for the trail riding we do here in Arkansas
Where did you buy it? I live up that way. Also , where did ya buy all the add on accessories? Thanks. Love it!!
Antlers OK. Dealer put on a lot of the accessories. Thank you 😊
@@ATVAm1e just wondering why yall went to OK. Instead of arkansas?. Was it Antlers Motorsports? Thank you!!😊
@gatormcclusky1 yes antlers they were very accommodating and no bs fees! 😁 will go back for next purchase
Hi you guys should make a comparison video between the Rmax and the KRX. I am an Rmax owner and have been wanting a KRX
Great idea!

Yea they had a rebate going through Kawasaki at the time! Enjoy that new RZR! Thanks for watching 😁
If ya change sides with the light bar it lowers it. I mounted mine the same way originally
Thank you
Question about the wiper. Is that where it sits on the windshield when not using it? Just looks a little high like it would get in the passengers line of sight.
Yes you get used to it.
If ya change sides on the light bar mounts it lowers it. I originally mounted mine that same way
Well shoot dang will give it a try! Thanks buddy 😁

Did not remove them. Just adjusted the tender springs for a little more ride height
Kawasaki needs to add a 60 inch wide machine to their lineup.
Jut bought a 24
Awesome enjoy!!
Any problems with the CVT or the belt ? Thats the one thing that makes me hesitant about buying one
Nope no issues so far have over 2000 miles on her. We have been cleaning belt as a part of general maintenance.
@@ATVAm1e I definitely want one..I think they're the best looking ones...and definitely built stronger..Thanks for the reply
It’s a good rig ! Very happy with it so far.

Great feedback thank you so much!!! Def going to look into shock therapy in near future 😁
So you find them front speakers to get in the way of your leg room? On video they look awfully big for the space
Nope never bothers us at all. Plenty of space unless your over 6ft
How does the KRX compare to the RMAX?
Check out my latest year review video!
How do you like the KRX vs the Rmaxx? I’ve been looking into a few different models and like what I hear about the Rmaxx but really like the look of the KRX

Is the Teryx as hot inside the cab? Also, curious about leg room? Bought the x3 because I fit I’m 6’5”
Yea the KRX will get pretty warm in the cab. Lots of space behind seat to move seat back.
@@ATVAm1e Is the heat inside the cab almost unbearable or manageable?
Gets pretty hot in summer but I wouldn’t say it’s unbearable
Pretty bad on a hot day. But I do have the full doors on so we don’t get quite as filthy.
How is the clutch holding up? Nice rig. I am looking at a 4 seater KRX to ride around Mulberry river/trails.
Oh nice! No issues at all so far; got over 2100 miles on her now 😁
From all my research these machines are built very well and are typically more reliable than the Big 2 brands.
So far so good we are sitting at about 4500 miles. So far have only replaced front bushings and general maintenance 😁
I know this video is a year old ... However, the light bar brackets could be swapped from left to right and vice versa to lower the height of the light bar and might help the whistle issue but also will lower the overall height as well. Just a thought, and sorry if it's already been said and tried.

I guess I missed the episode that chronicled the exit of the RMax. What happened?
Hey there! We still have the RMAX 😁
@@ATVAm1e
How's the quality of ride compared to the x3
Not horrible but not better than X3
Will say ride visibility is better and no more 3WD. A lot of spots where we would hit rocks on trails in X3 we don’t hit in KRX.
@@ATVAm1e upper levels with smart lok aren't 3wd. Just base model visco. My buddy is fighting that now.
Iam 6"6 is there lot's of room??
It’s pretty roomy.
I’m 6’9” and sat in everything and this was the only UTV that I could drive without being in pain. I’ve had mine for about a year.

Love the KRX, but where's the RMAX been?
Dirt road Queen 🤣 we take her to the creek on our days off from filming
Have a couple videos coming up in the RMAX at Mt Magazine in a few weeks 🤘🏼
You're really comparing apples to oranges here. But I get what your doing. The KRX fits your style of riding better than the X3.
Thanks for watching! 😁
Krx has 70 less hp. Did u factor that?
😁 you bet!
If you wanted all that stuff on the x3 you should have bought the RC model
Your comparing apples and oranges. to match the power of the x3 you need to add a 5000 dollar super charger.
thanks 4 watching
Still cheaper to have the krx
💯💯💯
Do not put a rear window in it noise an heat double
Thanks for the tip!
aww too bad no POV riding footage, otherwise an above average review just think that if its a video it should have pov ride footage
Thank you for watching and we really appreciate the feedback and will keep that in mind if we do another review.
nice rig, i want one but our worthless Gov of ME banned machines over 65!!! what st u in?
Well that stinks. NW Arkansas
Yep, Maxxis will leak air.
