Hi Mactics - thanks so much for your videos. Your original invis hunter video truly transformed my Destiny playing experience to be so much better and more enjoyable. Thank you for continuing to make these videos. Will definitly be a supporting subscriber too.
Im really trying to learn to be as strategic in my game play as you are in yours. I didnt start playing games until I was in my 40s (lol) so some of this doesnt come as naturally as someone who was raised on this stuff, but the detail and thorough explanation in your videos is helping overcome that. Thank you for the level of explanation you provide. I dont use Twitch much, but I will go there now and sub, bc your videos are very useful to me.
I have said it before......YOU have changed the way I play this game so much man. Your videos/guides/walkthroughs are the absolute BEST! Informative, straight to the point NO BS guides on how to make superior builds! I went from pure suffering gameplay to absolutely dominating! Everyone I talk to gets referred to you pal. THANK YOU!
My favorite all time build as a hunter main. It remains untouchable in end game content. I’ve watched at least 3 versions of this build that you’ve made. Thanks for updating it (even tho you did for lightfall already) after the added mod slot.
Bro made me legit cry. After working a 10 hour shift, I watch this as my first vid, and ya made me cry. Lol thank you for the Father’s Day post bro 🥹😂🫶🏼 love your content and so happy I got to find it. As a Hunter main returning to it all, it was hard to even understand how to make builds.
The build that turned me into the backbone of my GM teams and saved so many wipes (made me feel like a boss even tho I'm terrible!). I owe this channel the optimization of this build into perfection, thanks Mactics.
Yesterday i did an Lfg of GM lightblade where one of the guys had no exotic armor on and 80 resilience. I didnt worry cause i had this build on and at one point had to kill a champ as my two teamates were down in the boss room. Once you master this build you look at the game differently.oh btw we beat the GM
I used this build in this week's GM and there was many times I saved LFG teams from wipes. Having Perma invis was easy revives and good team support with that resist.
Radiant Dance Machines just made what you can do with Omni better. It’s not reliant on making teammates invis to regain your invis abilities. You can go echo of harvest, persistence, and starvation with vanishing step and whichever second aspect you prefer. Every engagement and every kill will grant invis, multiple orb drops, and devour. Trappers ambush will allow for beginning engagements while invis with also benefitting from the longer invis timer. Stylish executioner will allow for a more mindless invis approach with more of a consistent benefit while Multi-dodge is on cooldown. •Shadow dive to go invis and weaken enemies •Dodge before every kill to proc dynamo, reaper, powerful attraction, bomber and invis •throw smoke bomb or shadow dive to weaken every enemy prior to killing refresh with gamblers dodge •Always ensure melee is refreshed prior to finishing all enemies in an engagement •Use devour when dodge is on cooldown to get dodge back through grenades and increase survivability •use absolution and insulation to get dodge back through orb pickup
Been watching you since the Omni build for release of Void 3.0, this has been my go to void build ever since, thank you for such a game changing play style
I was glued to this sort of build for the longest time since VOID 3.0 dropped. It was something I found out myself, and it has literally carried me through multiple grandmaster gilded seals.
The first Omni video encouraged me to make my own Omni build. I usually like to adopt peoples builds and make one more suited for me but in this case I didn’t change much tbh. it also got me to do one of the hardest gms at the time scarlet keep which was wen Pali was going out of rotation. This was also my first gm experience. Still remember both team mates died and I stayed behind that hill on the opposite side of the gate waiting for my dodge to come back lol I ended up saving our asses and that being my final game getting my full god roll pali.
I would love to see a D2 content creator make a build with the new Hunter strand aspect that leaves behind a specter that explodes. Exotic armor: Sixth Coyote (or Assassins Cowl) Grenade: Grappling Grenade It's hard to explain well, but this build is fun to use and has great ad clear capabilities. Step 1: Throw melee Step 2: Grapple onto enemy and charge melee hit Step 3: Dodge backwards to leave behind specter and reset melee cooldown Step 4: Use melee again to damage enemies along its path and detonate specter Step 5: repeat. Inspiration: Dragon Age Inquisition, Artificer Archer
helped me clear this week's gm multiple times and i was controlling the whole game making sure my team mates were getting revived as many times as they were killed while weakening the yellow bars as well Great build indeed!
I love this build and I have been using variations of it since Witch Queen. It’s my go to for my hunter. You have given me some new ideas for mod and fragment selections that I am excited to try. Thanks for your help
Quick thing, I was running this build yesterday during a GM and my friend had Echo of Persistence on his void hunter (but not an Omni build), the smoke grenade does make your friend invisible and refreshes his time, but it does not give you any percentage back for your smoke grenade. They must not be invisible to get energy back.
Why not use Echo of Leeching instead of Harvest ? The extra Res points frees up an armor to cancel out the -10 mobility from Persistence. If you happen to kill something with ShadowDive, everyone benefits with invis + health regen.
Excellent build and video - my biggest learning curve for using this was training myself to be more restrained when getting back into the fight in GM and Master content , it's very easy to be too eager to get back into the fight and wreck your invis loop and in real high end content those few seconds are the difference between life and death.
You can trade Stacks on stacks for elemental charge. You’re making an orb AND void breach constantly, you’ll have the charges maxed still. Time dilation is also a must, 10 seconds of armor charge to 15 seconds. 4 armor charge normal is 40 seconds, 3 armor charge with dilation is 45 seconds which means if you run charged up you have 1 minute. Don’t need to crank out hella orbs constantly, just maintain so you can free up slots.
Love your channel, especially all your hunter build videos as I am a Hunter main, and have been since D1. I mess about with titans/warlock but all my main gameplay is always on my Hunter. So thanks for all your hard work and keep up good work.
Invincible is using the breakdown mission cheese. You can’t die unless you jump off a cliff. But this is a great build. This is the build that made Mactics shine even brighter on the map
Hey! just thought I'd add that about 12:30 you talk about how the dodge doesn't quite recharge during the invis loop anymore (which is fully right). However if you're willing to run 3x utility kickstart mods on your class item (with no armour charges), that pushes the dodge regen JUST enough that you can maintain 100% perma invis like before the dodge cooldown was adjusted. You can do this on any void hunter build too so long as you're at 100 mobility but omni obvs gives you the extra smoke as a backup as you know etc.
Another polished, amazing build video. Easy to understand, everything explained masterfully. You carry destiny content videos to another level. Good job mate 👏
I introduced a random person from LFG to this build because he saw me using the one before this update. Always suggest you and maybe 1/2 others when I hear anyone looking for good builds.
Been so stuck in gyrfalcons I forgot about Omni. Going back today. Love that arc build with assassins cowl but I can’t get a one two punch shotgun to proc correctly. Been slowly completing solo flawless story missions. I’m one third complete with checkpoints for the remaining. Lol Thank you for all your tips.
Hey Mactics, another great build video. I use this build with The Title with a pugilist and classy contender roll, bonus it has surrounded. In content that let's me utilize that SMG well it gives me a lot more freedom with my mods. Taraxippos works better for this season so I need to give a go soon. Bonus in some hard content with lots of cliffs, blind an enemy and you can push them off maps easily with a sword, I find it easiest to guard while pushing them. Great way to save ammo on super high health targets
Hey! Just came across your channel. I'm not good at coming up with builds so this helps so much. You and plunder are my go tos for my hunter. I've subscribed thank you!
If you pair this build with rat king you can also get invis on kills get up close with a void special deal heavy damage quick fall or dodge get outa there, rat king and rinse repeat. I just tried this build in a strike and even though my armor stats were garbo and I hadn't used the chest piece since I got it I didn't die once
I’ve been using echo of harvest with my Chromatic Fire build with Outbreak Perfected, it’s very underrated. Getting one headshot kill in a group of ads spawns 2 orbs and a void breach. My only issue with Chromatic Fire is the fashion
This build is awesome! It’s made even better with the new void weapon perks like repulsor brace. ALSO the *Collective Obligation* exotic pulse rifle works wonders with a build like this!
