Dual action polisher. I know what it is mr. big brain 1 minute attention span. I said not sure why random orbital is any different. I can’t really tell the difference. I did the review for the same reason you clicked on the video. To learn. Have a good day, try writing higher quality comments please.
@@kylesgarage4225 My apologies. Didn’t mean to be a jerk. I’m sure you know that DA stands for dual action,. Anyhow, I watched your video…. It’s not odd for a brushed tool to come with a spare set of carbon brushes, it’s actually quite common. Also, their “top of the line 7in model with a nice trigger” is actually a rotary polisher which is a different type of polisher than a dual action polisher, which is also different than a random orbital polisher, which is also different from an orbital polisher. They’re all different. All I was trying to say was that within the first minute of your video you didn’t instill any confidence that you knew much about what you were talking about, but… I get what you were trying to say as dual action and random orbital are indeed very similar. Maybe just look it up beforehand. This polisher is not what I searched for anyhow, but thought I’d watch it. Didn’t mean to upset you man… maybe I should get more sleep. Have a great day!
@@nickb5091 It’s all good. It’s easy to dismiss any video these days with as much garbage gets poured out. I put much effort into each video. I was rather excited to just get using the thing so I just started making the video without asking myself the difference between da and random orbit. Which I openly admitted. They didn’t have the 7in random orbit that I wanted, so here this one was. I was not interested in a rotary tool, at least not at this point. I did test the tool for real, and used harbor freight everything. And saw results, and gave my best feedback at the end of it. I can’t really reshoot the video now, lol. I guess I’m also sorry if you clicked on my video expecting an explanation between DA and Random orbit, because that was not my intention. Anyway glad you commented back, and thank you very much for giving the video a chance. I’m very thankful for any views I get, makes it all worthwhile. Take it easy. ✌️
@@kylesgarage4225 it’s all good man! It’s my fault really… I came back from a camping trip out of town with my son last night to find out my place had been robbed, so I was in a really bad mood when I watching this while looking for an inexpensive polisher because they stole my cordless DeWalt DA polisher I was planning on using this morning along with all my other tools from my garage. What I was actually searching for was the “Ironton Dual Action Car Polisher - 5.7 Amp, 6in. Pad” from Northern Tool. as it’s $15 less than this model right now and I’m pretty sure it’s 100% identical to this 6in 8mm throw model Bauer from HF… and probably manufactured in the exact same plant in China anyhow. In all actuality I’m pretty sure that both of them are not forced rotation dual action polishers anyhow… so, they’re pretty much just random orbitals at the end of the day, so what you said was actually appropriate and I wouldn’t remake the video even if you could because admitting you don’t see the difference is valid observation and a very rare quality you don’t see very much these days. As far as I’m aware, the only nicer DA model HF sells is the “20mm Long-Throw Random Orbit 6 In. DA Polisher” for $99 but all of their 7” polishers are going to be strictly rotary polishers. Personally, I would avoid 7” polishers anyhow, unless you’re trying to cover a very large surface area like on an RV, bud, boat, etc… mainly because they have the tendency to bog down if they’re not forced rotation and also because they’re just to big for intricate detail work like trim around the bumper and mirrors. I would actually recommend switching out the 6” backing pad for a 5” backing pad on the model you have if you notice it not rotating with a little pressure. That’s what I plan to do with the one I’m about to go pick up from Northern Tool. Hopefully the cord is a little better like the one you received. Anyhow! I’m sorry again brother for my bad attitude and I truly hope you have a great day!
@@nickb5091 Holy cow! Man that sounds terrible!!! That’s a worst case scenario for sure. Hopefully you recover well from that. Ok the random orbit is also a 6in I couldn’t 100% remember right off hand. Been over a year since I made this video. It’s funny you recommended the 5in pad because I recently switched to that on my last few projects, and it helped substantially. I really would like to revisit some tools I’ve reviewed and do a long term test with them, however the time I have is very little, and no chance to do so. I’ll have to look into the Norther Tool polisher as well. I always like a bargain! Anyway I really do hope things get better quick with your situation, take care man, have a good one!

Instructions read like a real man, just yep
Turn it off before removing it off of the bronco. It will mess the bearings up to run it without pressure on it
Put some sand paper on it try it that way as well!
Oh yeah!!!! Makes a great heavy sander as well lol.
Kool product
Can I use this to fix the spray max 2k clear coat's orange peel imperfection? thanks in advance.
Yes. Color sand and buff.

Do you do the voice to Beavis & Butthead? Cool video! 👍🏼
Lmao! I do not, however I’ve seen the top of the mountain, and it is good...
Thanks for the awesome comment!
Harbor frights the best thing if you only use the tools every now and again...
I agree, this polisher is a little cheap, and is rough on the hands...however I’m persistent and cheap. Lol thanks for your comments!
China made. And poorly made in China.
Had to stop watching less than a minute in… if you don’t know what a DA polisher is why on earth are you doing a review?
