AFK archons are a thing. Nahida e, raiden e, furina e, and zhongli e shield. Literally just autoattack to make the furina summons hit and you’re doing hyperbloom

It’s because the ability to do stuff off field, in a game where you can have only one character on field at a time, is extremely powerful and flexible.
And of course the on field playstyle is unlocked at C2, greedy f%ckers 🥲
IMO furina doesn't fit in hyperbloom tho, especially this variation
her highlight is her massive %buff in her burst which no one in that team can take advantage of nor activate consistently
i mean her c2 will fix all of these problem, but you know why no one mention it
If you want some meta ARCHON team, just leave furina hanging out with other healers and use aggravate raiden..
Another thing that was not mentioned in this video is that Furina's E damage is not tied to your characters using basic attacks, in fact it's not tied to anything. Imo this alone already makes her have several team possibilities besides the ones you would normally use XQ or Yelan.

I think he made the comparison BEFORE counting the passives(hp passive for example). I bet that she is stronger than Yelan at base.
Sadly she has a much bigger downside in needing a healer to both do her damage, and increase the buff.
Imo pulling for her C2 is the optimal thing to do if you have primos, otherwise she is incredibly clunky with any character other than neuvillete

I'm glad you are still doing these videos so that people can spend their wishes more carefully and intentionally in the next couple days. Personally I think her kit and character design/personality are very interesting and I'm saving my pulls for her 🙂
She has the Yelan thing going for her where her attacks scale off HP%, her Ascension Stat is Crit Rate% and her Weapon gives Crit DMG% with the Weapon's passive boosting her Damage (her Skill DMG in Furina's case) and her HP.
also both gives teamwide dmg increase (ult for furina, A4 passive for yelan)

Idk about damage, but Neuvillete with Prototype Amber should be insane for Furinas fanfare, as the weapon gives up to 72 extra stacks alongside Neuvillete's, and the ones Furina's talent gives when you overheal.

Even when Sara felt in her heart the vision hunt decree was wrong, she still carried it out and was willing to hand over her vision when the time came. Neuvillette on the other hand, holds Furina accountable. When she got ahead of herself after the death of Cowell and she started accusing Lyney and Lynette of his murder, it was Neuvillette that tried to get her to hold her horses by making her recognize the seriousness of what she was saying (unfortunately, she doubled down after seeing she convinced the crowd). When Furina was proven wrong about Lyney and she tried to bail, Neuvillette embarrassed her by pointing it out and making her stay as anyone else on the prosecution would have to.
Sara has the energy of a devout fanatic and lemming. Neuvillette has the energy of a prime minister who used to serve a good king but now has to serve the bratty princess who just inherited rulership.

I think one of the cool things Furina does is make anybody be able to use Marechaussee for 36% crit rate, or Vermillion for 66% ATK.

Kinda surprised that you didn't mention if Furina's HP drain will be a reliable enabler for certain characters to use Marechaussee who couldn't before. 🤔

6- Somekind of weird Niou team with both Furina and Kokomi and an on field Nahida, idk prolly not worth it but it kinda works?

8-Marecheusse Cyno? idk not too familiar with him and his teams

You dont need kokomi for a nilou team, you can replace her with yao yao, then have nahida
not only she enables MH set, but also new weapons like Neuvillette's signature on yanfei in vape team
Hopefully her hydro app is at least as decent as Yelan's
Marechausse maybe usable on a lot of these units but for some, crit rate aside, their damage would be worse considering the 4pc/ 2pc set passive they get from their original set that do better than just stacking crit damage. E.g. wanderer marechausse loses 25% normal and ca bonus plus 15% anemo bonus from his own set if you play him marechausse. You'd need a lot of crit damage though to make it worth it.

At C2 yeah, but at C0, 99% of teams won't be able to accommodate her healing mode, and will need an extra healer, otherwise yelan/xingqui are just better options.

@@LusciousD59 Because most teams don't have enough downtime to allow for it. She heals only the on field character, and you can't waste 10+ seconds healing each character in majority of the teams.
Thank you for doing this video. I've seen all kinds of reactions to her kit on reddit. I'm kinda confused myself, i thought the stacks mechanic was a little bit too complicated. I can't wait for your pre-release video.
I think her Ascension Passive 1 is trying to push her synergies with all of the self-healing Fontaine characters (I think we’re 4 for 4 on characters with some form of healing) more than it’s pushing her to get a full second healer.
EDIT: What I mean is, HMC, Lyney, Lynette, and Neuvillette can all effectively heal off-field party members just by overflowing on their self-healing mechanics by simply having Furina in the party.
Also Anemo MC and Kaeya
the heal problem can be solved with charlotte if you see her kit her burst heal all the team

She's cryo, and with Furina being the hydro enabler, your only team option is basically hyperfridge or copium freeze either without Kazuha or Shenhe.
Yaoyao q also has teamwide healing
The team wide heal is just in the beggining.. after that her burst heal only the on field character.. it is the same as yao yao burst..
Zajef, she doesn't need the active character to normal attack, that's really good for her team building, it's not like yelan.

I have Yelan's C4 so running Hydro goblet on Furina is a must. Can't wait to use them both in the same team.
Planning on using her with neuvillette, a neuv/furina/kazuha/beidou team. Gonna try for c1 neuv and c1 furina, was initially planning on pulling furina c2 + weapon but her weapon might be paired with a green donut and c2 I'm not sure if I want or not, so might as well use the primos I was gonna use elsewhere right? Feel like getting c1 neuv would make me the happiest.

Instead of Zhongli I think an R5 Prototype Amber Tankfei might actually end up better on Furina Hu Tao teams. You get 18% heal every 1-2 rotations or so, and on top of that you get Noblesse and Pyro resonance atk buffs. Keep in mind Furina buffs healing meaning that Prot Amber’s could potentially get to 20-30% on top of Furina’s minor healing, but this of course depends on if Furina’s healing buff applies to Prot Amber. Either way Tankfei might have her viability increased significantly.
Ohh, that sounds interesting. Marecheusee on Hu Tao could be great too.
20% resistance shred is better than an atk buff in hutao teams and tankfei is very er hungry

Hot take: I geniunely don't see a problem with the archon of an element being "overall stronger" or have some powercreep over the other characters of that element (i.e. archons being the best characters of their element AND/OR role) because...
1) They are literally the ARCHON of their element, the god of it basically and it would make sense that a bit of powercreep exists to show off this status over some rich kid that likes books for example.
2) Take the previous archons for example. Dendro is the element of reactions, and Nahida is easily the best dendro character (and applier of dendro) in the game and it's not even remotely close, if not one of the best sub-dps in game (which is her role). Electro is generally the element of energy, and Raiden is also easily the best electro character in the game who not only has high secondary DPS potential but also super good electro uptime and provides a lot of energy for the team (again, best at doing her role). Geo is generally regarded as the element of shield/crystallize , and Zhongli is so broken at his role he literally renders the dodge button useless while shredding the enemies and doing some solid burst damage. Anemo, the element of cc and grouping (and reactions to a degree), then you have Venti who until Kazuha came out was the best grouper in the game, he's still really good ofc.
3) It's a single player game so what's the issue with a little bit of powercreep when we're talking about the hydro archon herself.
A counter argument I can see is that we already have a very strong roster of hydro characters so powercreeping someone like yelan or xing, who already are god-tier characters, would be insane but who cares cause, again, it's a single player game.

@@denden6316 Neuvilette can move freely during his Charged Attacks, and his range is quite long which allows him to kite enemies easily. I'm not sure a shielder is as important for him as one may think.

One point about Hu tao teams with Jean, you don't really need to pyro swirl.
If Furina has enough application to just help Hu Tao not miss that 1-2 charged attacks with only Yelan, then we could use Furina as a substitute for XQ in higher levels of investment, and swirl hydro since with those two in the team they're probably a bigger portion of the damage than Hu Tao herself is
I hope the summons gonna follow her around or you can recast it otherwise I think the supposedly 100% uptime with the high cd is gonna become a problem in some cases like the enemies moving around or you killing the enemies too fast (either in overworld where the skill is still on cd when you move the next enemy spot or in abyss where a new wave spawns on the opposite end for example).
having seen some gameplay I doubt that'll be much of an issue. honestly it looks like Furina can pretty comfortably just stand roughly in the middle of Spiral Abyss while her summons fly all over the arena to attack stuff, they can fly pretty far (and pretty erratically if you're not directing them at all)
and they appear to approach the enemies that they intend to attack, so since they prioritize your targets they should follow you if you're attacking stuff, unless you direct them to a different enemy they seem to stick with whichever one they're currently targetting (moving with them) until either the summon disappears or the enemy dies.
I have no idea if they have any kind of max range...
As always thanks for explaining and mitigating some hype that might be unnecessary. It seems like her C1 (adds 150 fanfare and 150 max fanfare) and her C2 (adds hydro infusion for 10s of salon solitaire and increases damage based on max hp) seem like potentially large dps increases but we will see!!
I just realised that glass cannons will be extra good with furina - less Hp - higher total HP% change when getting hit/healed
furina + kokomi seems pretty good, I am assuming that the acension basically means that she converts overhealing on the current character to team wide healing?

She has a REALLY tough act to follow in Nahida. And Hydro is a pretty rough element to improve that much without breaking something given everyone has Xingqiu and Yelan is very popular as well...

Also, just putting this as a reminder to people: Furina will likely deal more damage than Yelan. Golden Troupe is such a ridiculous buff to Skill damage that Yelan’s Burst simply won’t get the same damage buff to outdamage Furina. The base scaling is very close, but while Yelan is getting an Emblem buff, Furina is getting 70% from Golden Troupe plus other sources like 32% (I believe) at R5 Wolf’s Fang from BP.
But Yelan is 3x the Damage instances per procc (every second) while Furina is 1 instance of Damage per procc.
Unless Furina's E attacks are AoE, I feel like Yelan can still do more dmg.

Kokomi power creep doesn't exist it can't hurt u the kokomi power creep:

Kokomis best use is hydro application and heals. Furinas will be damage + damage buffing, since her heals are very little I'm comparison. Its kinda like comparing damage hydro bennet to kokomi, yes in alot of ways that's better, but kokomi is still better for a freeze team or a bloom team ect ect

Ok she looks like a top tier unit for Abyss floors with the corrosion debuff. Just for her elemental burst buff alone.
While we still need to get the details, energy generation and animations, I am pretty sure that her Abyss floors will problably have the corrossion debuff, enemies like the AbyssWolfs or anything that can drain the whole team HP every second.

@sleepykurisu3170 with c2 she also heals and drains hp from party members with both alignments, thus gaining stacks faster
When it comes to her C2, I feel like Just Bringing Candace does the trick. Not really sure if I wanna care about the various extra bits and pieces that that Constellation brings.

Diona healing would not be enough you would definitely need Charlotte. Also definitely get some fav weapons because solo hydro Furina with her particle generation right now needs up to 250 ER. Otherwise I think this team will be really good!

I'm pulling for Furina for her HP consuming mechanic because it's the most reliable way to activate Maurechausee for everyone. And specifically for my Crit Kokomi build. Previously I needed to run Burgeon or Bloom but now less restrictions. Furina also gives Hydro Resonance HP%, dmg bonus and healing bonus which Kokomi wants.
Though the crit build is stupid, I like it for its going against the intended Kokomi usage.
Since her buff is team wide she makes for the perfect support for Neuvillette, the hydro resonance will also be good for the 2 of them, on top of that I run a Diona for my shield character because I can't seem to get a Zhongli so I do also run a decent healer as well.
Best selling point of Fruina to me is enabling Marechaussee Hunter on many characters like Yoimiya, Klee or Yanfei to name some of them. The fact that they designed it to be like that just to sell Furina is boring and cheap but still should be a considerable buff for characters that can now make use of the artifacts.
if farina can enable reactions for klee 😂 she's 💯 worth getting 4 me
The problem is getting value out of Furina’s burst, you generally really want Bennett with characters like Yanfei and after your first rotation the dmg bonus risks to be worse than a Nobless buff because your team is all at 50% HP 💀 even if you use a team wide healer as your flex, at that point wouldn’t someone like Yelan instead be straight up better with a huge amount of personal damage and up to 50% dmg bonus for free for your on field character? Other characters have this problem too, but honestly I’m happy about that, it balanced things very nicely and avoids powercreep.
I have the feeling that Sigewinne might be the “perfect” healer for Furina teams, but she will be probably released not before 4.4
Hu tao bis set and team with furena sounds godly less go!!!!!
Doesn't work great with Hu Tao due to the difficulty of even gaining stacks for Furina's Buff on that team.

the times they each attack during the 30s are out, so , crab: 7 times in 30s(every 4.28s), octapus: 8 times in 30s(every 3.75s) and "moving": 20 times in 30s (every 1.5s)

As a UX designer, the way this kit is written makes me want to commit crimes. The way they shove names of things into skill descriptions for zero benefit infuriates me. There is flavour text at the bottom, put the names of the creatures there so I can read the kit without falling asleep.
This for every freaking skill description in Genshin lmao. The average skill:
(Skill name) invokes the (another complicated name), dealing DMG and inflicting (several nonsensical words strung together). When an enemy under this effect is struck, it causes (yet another thing?!??!), dealing DMG and giving (character) the (whatever the hell is it now ffs), boosting their DMG%.
I wish they'd shut up with their skill's dramatic backstory and one million terms they invented just for this and tell me what it DOES 😭 keep the flavor to the flavor text please and thanks!

it is worth noting that they enable marechaussee on every single character (which really means basically every normal/charged attack fan will love furina)
vermillion hereafter is also a set that exists but im not sure how much 66% attack is really worth compared to 36% crit rate and 15% normal attack damage (but does kinda allow furina to work like a weird bennett in situations with high base attack)
if it is considered taking damage, vorukashas glow could be insane (but somehow i doubt that it is)
Personally, I am a huge fan of her kit. It is something you want to work around, and it is not just there and strong.
I would have loved, if you could have shine some light on her C2, as even with some math, I am not sure if it is really worth it. Very short field time, that you also just could spend to set up the next rotation.
Even if her numbers don't hold up in the end, she is already way too cute to skip.

I like the way Furina's kit is looking. Seems very strong while requiring some building around it, likely making her a competitive sidegrade. Maybe my favorite Archon kit other than current Venti.

Do you think they balance units like Neuvillete around units like Furina? In other words is their dmg underwhelming without using both together? normally I would'nt believe that but Hoyo is the type of company that I think would do that.
They always did that. They made sure Yae had Energy problems so that everyone would pull for Raiden. With Al Haitham, he's not dysfunctional without Nahida but it's way more convenient when you use Nahida with deepwood on her and Gilded on Al Haitham in the same team, whick makes maximizing his damage easy. Personally, I hate the Arkhium system. It really becomes a bit of a P2W situation when certain enemies can literally be disabled by the arkhe. I am not talking about the automations. I am talking about those abyss sphere thingys.
@@RKNancyAgreed, I hate that system too. The current enemies can still be easily countered without using that mechanic. However only time will tell when Hoyo will add annoying enemies that will force players to use those mechanics.

They literally made most new characters in the game have 70-80 energy cost just to make raiden usefull lmao.
Neuvillette works v well without Furina. All she provided to him is a DMG buff, while big, isn't what his issues are. What he needs is interrupt resist and more elements.
He'd rather need C1 before going for a Furina partner.
Hydro Yae that lets anyone use the best set in the game with a Ult that may or may not buff a lot of dmg. Also another good nilou option for those who don't want kokomi.
I mentioned in a discussion before with other people that we first should treat Furina's burst like it's Yelan's A4 where you don't rely on it fully stacked immediately but it's a buff that increases over time.
One of the main issues that is keeping it difficult whether how much Fanfare stacks we get is how often the Ousia part of Furina's skill will coordinate attack.
1. They could all attack at the same time
2. They could attack like Yae's turrets - one at a time
3. What's the interval per attack - is it 'per second' or 'per 2 seconds' etc.
But we can make some assumptions on how often the 3 animal bubbles will attack, The easiest assumption is that they will all attack similtaneously once per second. I based this on Yelan's kit - Yelan's burst scaling at level 9 is 8.23 x 3 per exquisite throw which is a total of 24.69% HP scaling and Yelan's exquisite throw activates once/second. Furina's 3 animal bubbles has a total scaling of 29.71% HP. So, the scaling of the two characters are not far off, so I believe it's safe to assume that the 3 animals will all attack simultaneously once per second.
So now, we can make some computations of how much Fanfare Furina could get based on our assumptions of her Ousia skill interval without considering healing.
1. Her 3 animals drain a total of 6% HP per attack per character at level 9
2. They will only drain characters' HP if their HP is above 50%. If the 3 animals drain 6% HP per attack and we assume that all party members are at full health, then it will take a total of 9 attacks before the characters' HP goes below 50% (6% x 9 = 54% HP drained) why not 8 attacks? Because at their 8th attack, the character's HP is only drained at 48% which means their HP is still at 52% - above 50% so the 3 animals could drain HP one more time.
3. So, how much fanfare stacks will Furina get from this? 54% HP drained per characters, 4 characters so that's
54% x 4 = 216% HP drained = 216 Fanfare stacks
216 stacks = 45.36% dmg buff and 19.44% healing bonus
4. If the 3 animals all attack simultaneously once per second, then it will take about 9 seconds (cause 9 attack ticks) to get about 216 Fanfare Stacks. 9 seconds is half of Furina's Burst duration.
If there exists a character that could heal all of the party member' HP back to 100% in a single instance - Like Jean's burst but higher healing, then that's another 216 Fanfare stacks for Furina. However, I don't believe such character with that much powerful healing exists in genshin yet

I was kinda hoping for her to also do aoe hydro because I have Xingqiu and Yelan already. I’m still not sure which second hydro 5 star I’m gonna get now that kokomi is gone, I want a generalist option that doesn’t yoink either of them, but I think if I don’t want Furina I should get Neuvillette because of the pneumousia mechanics.

I hope that damage bonus works for hyperbloom. I usually play hyperbloom with either barbara or kokomi on clam so hopefully she can slot in that team really well.

Massive hp fluctuation from furina consuming hp and noelle healing hp and noelle benefits from Furinas healing bonus effect. It's a matchmade in heaven team.
Same goes for Kokomi taser or mono hydro.
Also noelle mh set and furina and albedo can use gt.... it's a win-win artifact farming too 😮

I'd like to slot her into Nilou comp instead of Barbruh, and am keen on going deeper into c2 for the sake of more personal damage, on field and overall application. It's going to be interesting how she plays out in the teams, because at this point of Genshin it's all about what can I slot and where since we are already overloaded with characters and still use so many comps.
For hp decrease you missed out on the damage taken by enemies.
Hence Baizhu perfectly synergizes with Furina, where the shield isnjust enough to not let her die, but also provide hp decrease followed by heal.
I assume Furina is best played without a Shielder.
Also, C2 makes her on field.
I'm gunning for Furina C2 + Xinqui / Yelan + Baizhu + Flex team.
