Great review as always. What about new DJI Ronin-S? Looking at some reviews, quality, compared to this two is definitely higher. Moza and Zayon also lacking decent support, which is deal breaker for me..
I have the Crane 2 with the Canon 5D IV and it's a great combination. One tip I'd offer is to turn the joystick sensitivity down - you'll get much smoother footage. The only slight downside for me is the slightly awkward mobile phone interface but that may be me!
It'll hold any camera within the weight limit, although I don't think you can directly control a Fuji camera from it - I don't know actually, I never tried
Thank you for the great video! HOW do you RESET THE TILT to horizontal/flat after using the PF mode with joystick, or the Follow mode? The tiny manual seems to contain very little about the many functions.
I have had problems by my own fault for adjusting the camera while it is on the gimbal, it will spin violently in circles. I tried getting the follow focus controls on my camera to work but i think it only works with 5Ds?
I would certainly like one, but Chris, please test the cheaper ($50), lighter compomise, the Yelangu S-60T "Steadicam" stabiliser. 70's technology, no batteries, but in many cases it gets the job done.
GapBahnDirk i have the Yelangu myself. It works but they are hard to use and have a lot of drawbacks. It's hard to shoot low and it's hard to keep tracking a faster subject.
Devin Graham is very good at "Glidecam" stabilizers...he's been doing it like 10 years with amazing results, but these type of stabilizers require a lot of practice to master and have their limitations I suppose. Parker Walbeck made a good video comparing the Glidecam versus 3-axis gimbals.
Those batteries can be bought cheap off eBay and battery stores, so not strictly off the shelf, but easy to get hold off.
the original zhyiun ones are in production now I guess, you cant buy them nowhere at this time !
Misstorys its standard 18650 Lithium cells
Yup 18650 cells are cheap and easy to get. They have been used in laptops for years. Many people seem to not be aware.

if you update the firmware you get POV mode, which allows you to "roll-follow".

There are already 2 ways to work with joystick. push it more in to get smoother slower movement and less pressure for quicker movement.
My favourite...with the dual handle adapter, it is quite useful.
Thoughts on the feiyu tech a2000? I want an electronic gimbal but i also want to add a microphone and an external monitor. Wich do you think is best?
Thanks for the review Chris! I literally bought one 1 week ago! 😁
"Then, finally.., turn on your Canon camera."
Was expecting to hear "bokeh" 😃
Christopher, do you know any of these devices that can work with Fuji xt2??? Thank you for an excellent video!

Chris have you seen the new Ronin S though?
Nice review.
Can you do a dji ronin s?
Chris, did you used the gimbal with the canon eos m3? I have the m5 and want to know if the focus of the gimbal works on canon mirrorless
I didn't try it with the M3
Thank you for the great video!

4x press on mode button.
Could you review the older non art version of the sigma 85mm f1.4?
I have had problems by my own fault for adjusting the camera while it is on the gimbal, it will spin violently in circles. I tried getting the follow focus controls on my camera to work but i think it only works with 5Ds?
I'm interested in your opinion on the Feiyu a2000, will you try it?
I'm going to take a break from reviewing gimbals for a while now!
I would certainly like one, but Chris, please test the cheaper ($50), lighter compomise, the Yelangu S-60T "Steadicam" stabiliser. 70's technology, no batteries, but in many cases it gets the job done.
I've tried stabilisers like those a number of times - I can't stand them! They're not for me at all

OK. I have one and I have adapted to it, but each to his own.

it's pronounce juyin right?
Did zhiyun sent it to you or you bought it?
Read the description
the motion blur at 0:52 looks so bad.. how does the filmmaker fix that ? is it by lowering the shutter speed ?
Laurențiu Derecichei yes it is.
Zhiyun Crane 2 ist the best gimbal, better than Ronin.
You forgot POV mode
only with the new Firmware....
VIDEO IDEA: try out the Helios 40-2 85mm either new or the old one!
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Jello effect will always curse canons. 😢
Not good enough I think.
