Thanks for checking out this band! It's really cool that you took the time to react to Them. I think this live performance does justice to their instrumentation, I Love the sound of blues, psychedelia, and rock all mixed into one and I'm glad the instrumentation struck a chord with you as well. The lyrics are kind of open to interpretation, so the words aren't everything, but the voice definitely sets the tone. If you decide to go deeper into All Them Witches, trust me, there's a lot more where that came from. I've got a soft spot for the album featuring this song, it's called “Dying Surfer Meets His Maker." Looking forward to hearing you take on their other stuff if you decide to explore more. Cheers for giving them a shot!
Loved your reaction. I love this band. As a 72 old woman, this band makes me feel like a lot of their sound is back from the late 60's early 70's mixed in with some current hard rock and I don't care how long any of their songs are. They make me smile from ear to ear.👏👏👏😊😊😊 💖💖💖👣🌛🌝🌜👣💖💖💖
Nice to see this piece on your channel. Especially since I encouraged you to listen to it several times on different occasions 😁. If you don't feel like checking out ATW's discography, be sure to check out their performances at KEXP. "Bulls", "See You Next Fall" and "Talisman" are extraordinary. You will get used to the singing and you will like it, because it does not always sound so preachy, and it fits their music perfectly. A great group that should not be ignored. An example of skillfully combining traditional hardrock and bluesrock with a modern sound. No revolution in music, but a solid place to learn and enjoy listening to.
Saw your video while replaying this live on my way home. I'm sure you get many recommendations but still - in case you are interested in checking out some more stoner you can't go wrong with some of these: Naxatras(Greece) - I am the beyonder or Space tunnel is a good start Stoned Jesus(Ukraine) - I'm the mountain or Electric mistress is a good start 1000mods(Greece) - hardest to recommend a starting point. They are consistently fire but: Vidage / Low / Into the spell / So many days Somali Yacht club(Ukraine) - Sightwaster Villagers of Ioannina(Greece) - Age of Aquarius Some of the best stoner bands here in the east. They all sing in English so no worries re language barrier. ✌
Great to see a reaction with ATM! When I saw them at a concert home in Sweden, the drummer had a broken wrist. It didn't seem to have any effect on his drumming though. That's commitment! One of the best live bands out there.
The talking thing was started or at least popularized by the doors and I think people that like the doors find this style interesting when pulled off like he does it
I rememeber when I first saw this video I was entranced by the music, but I was also very on edge about the drummer's headphone situation.

I'm not really sure it's related but baroness is another band worth having a listen to if you haven't already.
