I’m not an expert, and I don’t even have have a bird. I’m getting one in a few weeks and I have been doing a lot of research. Plastic bowls gather up a lot of bacteria and you would have to wash those way more and better. It’s better to get metal bowls for them. This comment is late so you might already know this by now.
This is 11 months later and I'm assuming you have a bird now and I'm curious what type of bird it is and what it's name is? I have 1 Indian ringneck named Kiwi and 1 budgie named Rio who we just got about a month ago
Their cages look so fun! Now I have loads of ideas for my cockatiels new bigger cage that will be coming in the mail in a week or so. Oh also I'm the same person from tumblr who was asking for tips when I moved to Texas with my bird:)
Yay ! Your conure is so cute and playful lol . Nice set up ! I'm working on masking a cage tour video for my African grey . Hopefully you can watch it when I upload it
where did you get those platforms? I have 2 tiles for about a year and figuring them out, what they like, cage set up has been a challenge. But this video gave me some great ideas. Thanks
I believe that Gunter is a white - faced cockatiel (correct me if I'm wrong) but I would like to know what kind of cockatiel Frankie is.I'm looking into maybe getting one,so I want to do lots of research.
Actually, I think it’s a great amount of toys, she could even put more in if she wanted!! The birds have enough room to run around and flap their wings, and enough toys so they don’t get bored. If you work or go to school, your bird needs to have plenty of toys to keep them entertained, but not too much that the toys are frightening. Hope this helps :)
Wonderful video! Your birds are so cute! I was just curious - what brand cage is this? What are the dimensions of this cage? I'm considering getting one for my tiels.
kennedy nagel Believe it or not snuggle huts are not good for birds. They are the same as when they sleep on a perch. Snuggle huts promote nesting and that can leads to series of health problems. You bird could also get their nails stuck in the fibers which could leave to starvation/dehydration if you aren’t home while their in the hut.
I have a cockatiel...should I feel bad that his cage is smaller? With less toys inside....waching these videos make me think that my bird is miserable!!😩😩😩
Don't feel miserable! You can always try to upgrade when you can! As far as toys go there are a lot of creative DIY bird toy ideas out there. Definitely worth a google!
OMG that bird is like a kid.. i love him !!

The platforms came with the cage. I've seen some wooden platforms on websites like mysafebirdstore!

Yep! Gunter is a white-faced cockatiel and also pied. Franky is a pearl pied mutation.

where did you get the newer toys and nice cage set ups
These days I get most of my toys from the Polly Wanna Bird Box subscription service. I also checkout local pet stores and shop on mysafebirdstore.com
Great video. But that rope perch is in terrible condition it is extremely dangerous for your bird
was just gonna say that and those plastic bowls arent good either
Where the cage from ?
you should get them a snuggle hut
