I showed this to my niece and she said, “They’re tiny metal cheerleaders”. 👍
This makes me like them more somehow. Shouldn't be possible.
Omg that is literally the cutest thing I've ever heard!! Tiny metal cheerleaders is spot on 😂
HAHA Nice!!
🤣 Yeah Cheerleaders of death and awesomeness.
I’ve heard them called Cheerleaders from Hell and Satan’s Cheerleaders
They are little adorable creatures of darkness. Love them
Lol yes they are they have me hooked for Shure it's a break from mainstream same o same o
Oh yeah little creatures of darkness. Right and they love chocolate too.
@@grinsikleinpo7 lol right I can't believe they have been doing this for do long and it took me so long to find them but now that I have I can't get enough of them there songs give goose bumbs every time
For the most part the metal community has embraced these girls. Despite the gimmicky cute pop aspect of Babymetal the music is great and the girls are talented as hell. Plus they're doing what only the best most original metal bands manage to pull off. They are saying "Screw your expectations. We're gonna do our own thing and we're gonna kill it." In the end that is what metal is all about.
Technically it's not their own thing though... It's still very K-Pop, which is already very mainstream... I mean I guess the aspect of the "metal" being played along side it makes it different, but to me it's just 2 aspects mushed together.
Well I guess it's important to only like someone who everyone else already likes. YOU know a lot of people... blah, blah, blah. Well, ain't you hemp and gravy! And by the way... "know one?" Illiterate much? What a doof...
I fucking Love Slipknot, but I also like anime.... So.... I guess.... This shit is fucking amazing
well said mate
Indeed, well said!
I am a life long hard core metal head, and my first reaction upon seeing and hearing this a couple years ago was exactly the same..WTF? However, these lil girls are straight up LEGIT! They are the hardest working girls you can find. This band tours non stop, interviews non stop, makes videos non stop, and makes albums non stop. They are literally grinding their way to the top, and ALL the metal bands with a name..even ones you would never expect give these girls props and support what they do. Slayer, Rob Zombie, and many others back them 100%. They play huge metal festivals with some bands that scare the hell out of a lot of folks, and everyone has their back. Rob Halford of Judas priest even did Painkiller and Breaking the Law in a performance with these girls. My wtf reaction was the same as yours, but they kind of grow on you in a weird catchy way. This band and these kids work their asses off and deserve the respect of the metal community for that alone. Not only that, they have created a sound and a 'genre' of metal uniquely their own, groundbreaking, something never really done in metal before, and have injected something new and refreshing to metal the way Chuck Schuldiner did with Death and Death metal. They are actually revolutionaries, and should be respected for that too.
Very well said and insightful. Agree 100%. I think this was the first song I heard and was in the wtf boat. After karate I was sold and a fan.
Take my like sire! You deserve it.
Rob Halford gets it. He did Painkiller with these girls.
@Cannabis Dreams Yeah. One of the members, I can't remember which, but her two favorite artists are apparently Cannibal Corpse and Ariana Grande.
I'm baked af I read your comment and I must say 100% agree with you. Should be top comment
1st Babymetal reaction: "wtf is this?"
2nd reaction: "It's actually pretty cool"
3rd reaction: "holy shit this is amazing"
JLog1c hahaah yes indeed...
4th i love it hahaah
5ft kitsune up haha
6th I keep throwing money at the screen but nothing is happening.
7th: I need to see them live omgomgomg.
Huh, really....
My first reaction was what the fuck is this?
It's fucking weird, I hate it.
Never watching ever again.
I'm Japanese so I've always been around these "cute girls in odd dresses" never liked it.

Yeah, they got nuked twice.....hmmm, I don't have an excuse! :D
Nah, this is pretty normal stuff. Dir en grey- Obscure. There's your daily dose of WTF =)
Except they’re Korean 😂
They’re kawaii? Fuck me sideways...
@@damienmaynard8892
To be fair, they did some really messed up stuff during the war too. Look up Unit 731. Human Experimentation to mostly innocent Chinese people. Japan took over a small area in China and set up the facility.
They had a plan to release super plague fleas and rats into the USA, but were nuked five weeks before the plan would have been enacted.
Instead, they released the rats and fleas there before destroying the facility.
Babymetal is the counterculture to the counterculture lol alot of us who are bored of the samey overly technical modern metal bands kinda gravitated to them. Babymetal is just pure fun and energy. plus the fact that edgelord metal fans hate them makes it all the more appealing.
Yeah
I couldn't have said it better myself, well done!
Pass_the_M i don't think I've met any edgelords who hate this
Yeah
its the same with Gloryhammer to an extend.... Some see powermetal, some see a band who makes fun of powermetal and than other ppl like me see both and enjoy it for what it is.
First time I was introduced to babymetal I was like " this is ridiculous, why would anyone like this ? "
Now , 3 years later. And having seen them live twice. I can safely say, they are truly epic. And I love them 🤘😂 no shame.
A Babymetal concert was one the greatest shows I've ever been to in my life, and I'm 67 years old, absolutely spectacular.
Most of the big metal bands like Slayer and Lamb of God love Babymetal. They're odd, cute and heavy! They play at most big metal festivals.
G Horse not accurate last time I checked slayer hasnt fucked with babymetal
There was an interview later
G Horse which is sad when their not Metal
Prob as a joke.
Hiro yeah
Babymetal's Megitsune is probably my favorite from them.
Partially because damn it's a fun song to play on guitar.
Welcome to kawaii metal.
Basically everyone reaction when first hearing this song
😀🤘 -> 🤨😱 -> 🤘😍🤘
That was me to
Yeah
They are the real deal and are fast climbing the ladder in the metal world. To this point they have been support for bands like Metallica, Gun & Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Korn. They have sold out two consecutive nights at the Tokyo Dome (55k each day), and have sold out Wembley Arena in London. At this point everyone into metal has at least heard of Babymetal.
Wembley wasn't sold out. But almost.
Yeah, I knew that. :)
X1xone not true, a lot of REAL METALHEADS haven't because their faux not real
Not real? Do you really want to have the discussion of real vs fake in metal? Metal is flush with gimmicks and flat out bullshit. We can start with most black metal bands. How about Ghost? Music is marketed entertainment. Some is better executed and funded than others but make no mistake, it is planned and marketed entertainment.
@flamingbeast You can deny that they are "real" metal and think they suck, but the fact is they are steadily climbing the ladder on the bill at metal music festivals. Gimme Chocolate does not really represent the sound of the their music. You can probably better judge what they sound like today by checking this song out from the Download festival ruclips.net/video/qXF94RGYEmw/видео.html
Let's hope they are at the Olympics, people need this to happen.
Fuck yeah
I think the band broke up
@@lucaseda5389 they are still active. Just heard about them today and had to look it up. I would be very upset if I just found out about them just to find out they are broken up

The usual Babymetal reaction:
1. WTF?!?
2. What the HELL am I listening to?
3. This is kind of legit.
4. Holy crap!
5. Is there more?
2:45 Most awkward headbang ever. Everyone always has the EXACT same reaction when hearing BABYMETAL for the first time: "I don't know how to feel..."
This is literally me when i first watch them, but now im addicted to them
do karate next and road of resistance after karate
Also since you're a hip hop fan, check out iine after doing the ones I suggested
*_-KDTGrave-_* road of resistance is when a reactor should definitely watch live. I don't care if a reactor does karate live or studio, either one is fine.
*_-KDTGrave-_* yeah, but both are equally good. The rain in the live video makes it better, but that's it, they're both equal. The faster, more energetic songs are better live.
I think road of Resistance is better
Dec Kun yeah but the usual order for reactors is GC Karate then ROR
“Hey you know what would be awesome?”
“Huh?”
“Lets combine the inherent weirdness of Metal and Japanese pop culture into a new band.”

Lead Singer: Suzuka Nakamoto aka Su-Metal age 20
Choirs/ Dancer: Yui Mizuno aka Yui-Metal (Right gloved) age 18
Choirs/ Dancer: Moa Kikuchi aka Moa-Metal (left gloved) age 18
Started Babymetal at age 13/11 respectfully. They started out as a Sub-unit in a developmental Idol group called Sakura Gakuin. Their raise in popularity had them break away officially in 2013. The live backing band is known as the Kami Band, they played off and on from 2012-2013, and they were not fully established in Babymetal until 2014. Age during this video of Gimme Chocolate, Su-Metal 16, Yui and Moa 14. This is one of their performances that DOESN'T have the Kami-Band. The Skeleton Band, mock play behind the girls, they were removed from Babymetal in 2013.
There are four sides to their performances, group songs, they also have songs dedicated to Suzuka which are her solos. Then there is what is known as Black Babymetal this is where Yui and Moa do duets. Lastly they have Kami Band intros and Mischief of the God's, which are pure instrumentals of the band doing solos before songs.
They play a variety of metal styles including the one they invented known as Kawaii Metal. Their first song Doki Doki Morning (2010) is a great example of Kawaii Metal. Gimme Chocolate that is also Kawaii metal. However they have done speed metal (Road of Resistance), folk/Viking metal (Meta Taro), Ska/Punk (YAVA!), more rock style song (Syncopation), Progressive Metal (Tales of Destinies/The One), Ballads (Amore, No Rain No Rainbows), and even black metal (Sis. Anger)
The music is written by a small army lyricists and musicians. There are to many to list. They also did a collaboration with DragonForce (Road of Resistance). Each song tell stories. Karate is about overcoming even ones own fears and doubts, Gimmie Chocolate is about body shaming. Other themes are anti bullying, coming of age, and woman empowerment. Some are just fun like playing hide and go seek with an ogre.
Their choreography is done one of Japan's best Mikiko Mizuno she is doing the opening ceremonies for the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo.
I think this info will get you going in the right direction in Babymetal information. They are touring in the US coming up in May, might be hard to get tickets this late in the game. Kansas City isn't sold out yet.
I strongly suggest you stick to their live shows with future reactions, they are the strongest Live. The Karate Music Video, is their best one, and worth checking out however. If anything I would STRONGLY recommend Road of Resistance Live in Japan. Japanese Copyright laws are weird, and Amuse Inc, the company that owns Babymetal, take them to the extreme. Videos you will not get slapped with Copyright strikes by them are; Karate Music Video, Road of Resistance Live in Japan, Ijime, Dame, Zettai Soniphere 2014, sometimes Mischief of the God's/ Rondo of Nightmares. Everything else it's the Mute and Sync method sorry.
20?! she and the other two look like they are fuckin 15.
song is couple years old now so they were like 16 around that
thanks the cops are now at my house and I was charged with pedophilia
I'm only here to say that sis metal is not black metal.
real life bart Simpson maybe if you hadn't been so horny for underage Japanese girls your reading comprehension would of been better.
"It made me feel super weird" this sums up exactly how I feel about pretty much everything that comes out of Japan. lol
1st Babymetal video (Gimme Chocolate) - WTF
2nd Babymetal video with live performance with their Kami Band (Road of Resistance live in Japan) - OMG
3rd Babymetal Video (Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere) - Hooked
I cant lie this band sounds pretty good took me a few listens to see that
It reminds me so much of the anime Madoka Magica. Where you have this mix of genres and it totally surprises you. The cute with it's opposite.
First, let me apologize in advance for the deluge of comments you are about to get on this video. BM fans tend to be a bit rabid and jump on any reaction video with the band name in it.
Second, even though this is their most watched video, it's also one of the videos I tend to tell people to avoid when first being introduced to the band. First, this and Doki Doki Morning are some of their more "pop-y" songs. Second, they still had a fake backing band called the BabyBones with them on stage (those guys in bad skeleton costumes) that faked playing the instruments.
Nowadays, they are backed by some of the greatest musicians Japan has to offer called the Kami band, which translates loosely to the "band of gods". Most of the backing band truly deserves that nickname. BOH, the bassist, is one of the best 6 string bass players in the world and Aoyama Hideki, the drummer, has better timing than a metronome.
Each song by Babymetal explores a different subgenre of metal.
Time for the recommendation! I'll jump on the bandwagon and say Road of Resistance live in japan like a few of the other commenters and Akatsuki, live unfinished version if you want to really hear the range that the main singer, Suzuka Nakamoto aka Su-Metal can have. She was only 16 during the video you just watched (and in Akatsuki unfinished) but that song brings a tear to my eyes everytime, and I'm a 37 year old metalhead
While I agree Gimme Choco is not most fans' favourite, and *perhaps* for that reason it might be avoided as a first recommendation, but in my humble opinion, it has the most WTFness x Awesomeness combo of all their songs, and is still absolutely my favourite, although I realize many other songs are 'technically' better in various ways. For sheer reaction-worthiness, Gimme Choco remains my number one recommendation. I've never experienced such a mind-blowing reaction like I did from Gimme Choco ever before or since.
And that includes Nippon Manju by Ladybaby (much more WTF, but significantly less awesome (but still a bit awesome)) and Road of Resistance (awesomer but less weird), and even IINE (both weird and awesome, but slightly less than GC on both variables) and Tales of the Destinies (also both awesome and weird, but not all at once in your face like GC).
The only other band I'm into at this moment which compares to that special GC combo, IMO, is Desu.Rabbits. They have quite a few songs that are both awesome and weird (and also funny, too, which is something a little unique that Babymetal doesn't really go into), but hmm, I think Gimme Choco still takes the cake. Just my opinion!
Kitsune up! \y/_ (^_^) _ \y/
I’m a 45 year old metalhead and learned about them just last week and have not stopped listening to them ever since. My 3 year old son is obsessed with the Karate song and video lol. It’s very hard to pinpoint what makes this weird concoction of music work so well, but for me it’s almost like an Aha! Moment and it feels like waking up on a spring morning with the windows open. Refreshing. Alive. Love it. So very sad about their amazing guitarist Mikio dying in 2018. Also, Yui leaving the group. Not sure if they’ll recover from that plus the girls are getting older and the new songs they’ve released are more serious now...not sure it’s still working.
"What the hell am I watching?" Every metal head's reaction to seeing them the first time. You are not alone
Keep watching Babymetal and good things will happen! :-) I'd recommend Karate or Road of Resistance next.

3rd: "is this music like this shit all the time?"
4th: watching megitsune: "OMG this is my new favourite song!"
5th: buys an album.
6th: playing the whole album in a car non stop.
7th: gimme chocolate comes:
"I'm kinda like this song. It's very energy and fun :D "
8th: watching official music videos: OMG they are so cute :3 "
9th: I'm addicted to this band"
10th: started learning japanese because this band :D

The first time I heard about Babymetal was from a Rob Zombie interview. It was at a concert a few years ago. He invited them to perform at the concert because he's a fan of the group.
Nice one. The classic Babymetal reaction running order most people experience: - song 1 "WTF is this, it shouldn't work, do I like it?"; song 2 "I think this is actually really good but I'm still not sure, maybe I'll try another."; song 3 "This is brilliant, I'm hooked give me another song I need more!" Their music videos are good, live performances are even better - they feed off the audience energy and multiply that energy in their performance. Road of Resistance live in Japan would be a good one for your next reaction, I think you would enjoy Catch Me If You Can - the best metal song about playing hide & seek ever written.
Grington300 300 Agreed on Catch Me If You Can. Bonus to that song is Kami Band gets their solos in leading up to it.
BabyMetal generates shock and nonpluses with most first time listeners. The reality is that the musicianship, composition, vocals, choreography, show production are absolutely top shelf professionally and creatively. Awesome and unique band. Go ahead. It's ok to like them.
And now for something totally different...Baby Metal. Exactly the expected reaction. When you are in an odd mood check out some of their other songs. Su-metal's is a great singer.
Try Karate or Megitsune next.
I only just stumbled upon your channel. (Just the metal reacts) I've skipped around, but I'm super suprised to this came up on your list! Lol, my daughter loves them.

My first reaction to this video was, oh Japan is being weird again. I didn't think it was for me. 1 year later I saw their video for Karate and I've been obsessed ever since. They are amazing in every way.
J Pop was a thing before K Pop, so yeah, it's a thing. Great vid
It is not unusual to be confused, the first time you hear Babymetal. Every rocker bone in your body screams that j-pop and heavy metal shouldn't mix, but you know that you don't hate this. Then you listen to Babymetal, Karate, and you can't get that incredibly catchy tune out of your head. By the time you listen to Road of Resistance, you are complete fan. Welcome to the club and enjoy this awesomely diverse form of music.
the one who created babymetal is a genius. Japanese love for idol culture and rock/metal culture.

The members themselves are very aware that their initial impression is often "WTF?".
They compare that to what they first thought when they were introduced to metal.
Since then they have shared the stage with ChthoniC, Dragonforce, Korn and Rob Halford, opened for Metallica and Guns 'n' Roses and toured with Korn/Stone Sour.
And not to forget Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lady Gaga. ;-) I know this might not give them a lot of metal cred, but it does show you the diversity of their fan base.
Rick Wagner now that surprises me.
And Rob Zombie
Ollie from Bring Me The Horizon also reps their shirts all the time which is how i found out about them
Check BMTH's Glastonbury set
I loved the Rob Zombie story, he got a lot of heat for being a fan of theirs and his reply was basically they rock harder than you, fuck you.
As A BM fan it pains me when people listen to gimme chocolate as a first song.....it does them no justice.
Shadownian exactly lol
Mmmm...... if it wasn't for Gimme Chocolate, I would have never become a part of the ONE. Well, to each his own.
Yea gimme chocolate was my first which got me addicted bc of its energy
Au contraire, as another BM maniac, Gimme Chocolate is indeed the best thing to hit unsuspecting listeners. Classic Shock & Awe strategy. First time listeners wouldn't know what hit them, by the time the cognitive dissonance has set in, the ear-worm would be well ingrained and start working its way up the brain... Before they know it, they'll be hitting RUclips and things like food and sleep matter little to them. MUAHAHA mission accomplished!!
I tell ya..KOBA is a genius!!!
Gimme chocolate got me into baby metal so shad up
Simply put, its Kawaii Metal- their own creation. They began this metal journey back in 2010 when they were first introduced to and began absorbing what is “metalness”. They ARE different, they ARE counter culture- they fly in the face of metal purists and traditional metal. They needed a good shaking anyway! So they were 11, 11 & 13 when they first began Babymetal and now are 18, 18 & 20. Not a flash in the pan! I suggest their Karate MV next. It’s so damn good! Badass storytelling w/o even having to know Japanese!

I really don't understand why nobody suggested their song ''Megitsune''' or ''IIne''. In my opinion the best Babymetal songs... I would appreciate if you can make a reaction video for either of aforementioned :)
I love your reaction. They are heavily happy metal so you can't stop but smiling. :D
Exactly the same reaction we all had the first time we saw BABYMETAL. Keep listening and you’ll start begging for them to come to your area so you can see them live. Their live show is fuckin incredible.
2:42 the Babymetal starts to work it's way in haha 🤣
So true I was like wtf then I could not stop watching there videos are so awesome and they tell a story
how have you not heard babymetal in 2018, i've seen them 3 times live, they were fucking awesome, have all the albums and blurays, and yes first time I heard them I was "WTF!", I am an old school Metalhead too
Well, I would say this is metal with little girls, the idol part is very limited. And the idol part won't last long term, while Babymetal will continue. So idol is just their origin. Not what they are doing now. They are just cute/adorable girls with metal music. They even call it kawaii metal. Kawaii is the Japanese cute culture.
Babymetal is kind of counter-culture within the metal genre. :-)
This song is kind of their WTF song. :-) There are more songs like that, but their songs are actually very diverse. You should check out Ijime Dame Zettai at Sonisphere, UK 2014. It's also a song from their first album. From that performance you can see it's even the western metal fans that can like Babymetal.
I’m absolutely unsure how Babymetal became a suggested video for me on RUclips earlier this year considering they’ve been around for awhile, but I’m glad I clicked on it. I don’t even listen to JPOP or KPOP.
My initial reaction was pretty much the same. My body and mind didn’t know how to react to what I just witness. So, I listen to more and more of their songs and I like it now.
A few more songs and that weird feeling will go away, leaving only pure joy and adrenaline.
Not enough comments over the amount of fucking energy they radiate.
KARATE AND ROAD OF RESISTANCE (they still kids at gimme choco. give them a chance and check out these 2 vids where they are older)
Crazy how popular BabyMetal has become since their 1st album back in 2014, i was a bit worried at the start with mix of JPop and Metal - how it would go down with me as a lover of metal and how it would go down with the metal community but i love it now after hearing more songs from the 1st/2nd album and it's done very well, with the 3rd album release coming out October 2019, the band doesnt seem like stopping anytime soon! Babymetal just played Glastonbury last weekend and that's crazy!!
This band is totally underrated. The real banger by them is "Headbanger" always room for them in my daily playlists. 🤘
Lmao I watched this when you first dropped it but rewatching it for fun. Watching your brain explode, put itsself back together and then rock out made me laugh and smile. Hefnerd for life yo!
You HAVE TO react to Baby Metal: Road to Resistance. But I’m sure soo
Many people have told you already lol.

Btw, it really cuts me deep down inside when people who try to get to know Babymetal choose Gimme Chocolate as the first song to check out because it has the most views. They have such masterpieces as Ijime, Dame, Zettai (the one absolute best song on my playlist), Akatsuki, No Rain No Rainbow, Syncopation and Road of Resistance. *This* is what Babymetal should be introduced to new audience with.
Metal!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
That drummer KILLS it.
My first reaction: Can I get arrested for watching this???
Don't be gross.
I think getting arrested would be easier to explain than this.
you and 90 million others? I dont think so.
yes u can. Hell is warm and there are all time every time Babymetal in the air. So see forward to be arrested be Babymetal. :)
Some info you might find interesting on this song:
Babymetal are probably the most famous example of a growing movement in Japanese pop music known as Anti-Idol, in which the traditional Idol Group format is subverted/parodied through eccentric fusions of sound and visual style. Some of the earliest Anti-Idol groups such as BiS and Momoiro Clover Z took visual cues from science fiction, Japanese horror and Super Sentai (that's Power Rangers to the rest of the world), and musical cues from hardcore techno and symphonic rock/metal. Since then, more and more Anti-Idol groups have formed, and a fair few of them have taken cues from various metal styles. This includes Babymetal's dabbling in speed metal, power metal and nu-metal (an overall style which they refer to as "Kawaii Metal" or "cute metal"), Necronomidol's fusion of J-pop with folk metal and black metal, and FruitPochette's metalcore/djent inspired sound.
Babymetal just changes lives bro. Or at least it indirectly changed mine. Im polish Lived all my whole life in Poland (born 1987) . in 2014 J went to Sonisphere to see them live after lost my Job found New in germany lost that one Moved to UK now 3rd year living There. Its kinda insane to think in a way it all started with Babymetal O_o
Cringe
@@canadachronic8803 xD
Honestly tho they're so much fun to see live. I went to see them in Germany a few years ago (I was 14, and from a different country, so that was a big step for me). Not only are the people in the audience nice enough to let kids go in the front (there were kids like less then half my age), but the music is actually damn good, and a great mixture of metal (what I was already into at the time) and cute girly stuff that I got into later
Has he reacted to Megitsune yet? He needs to react to Megitsune!
I haven't found a Babymetal song I'm 100% on board with yet...
Checked a couple of your vids, and your self-deprecating humor; iGusta.
Aw shit. I first heard about these guys from that FineBros vid about them, and I thought it was gonna be some like... metal for literal babies or something, expecting some good ole lulz, but I quickly was like ohey? and was able to hop on board soon after; but I've always loved weird shit, so, I guess it was inevitable.
Some other songs from them I'd recommend: Megistune and Headbangerrrr.
Crazy thing is, you don't even get a glimpse of just how amazing Su-Metal's voice is in this song. If you take a trip down the Babymetal rabbit hole though, you'll discover songs that show that her voice is a force of nature.
Try rondo of nightmare and sis anger and the megutsine. Sorry if I misspelled the last one
Megitsune. : )
Rick Wagner thank you
And that should be _Rondo of Nightmare_ with the Mischiefs of Gods intro. :)
Babymetal's version of metal is called Kawaii Metal or Cute Metal. I love them!
At least give the song "Road Of Resistance" Live at UK Download a react before you stop.
So funny ... as soon as Su-Metal starts singing the shocked Pikachu face changes into a big smile.
Alex, that wasn’t even their best song. Check more out Megitsune. It’s awesome. I was like you though when I first heard them. I kind of liked it but in the other hand what in the world was I listening to? Haha
Baby Metal makes you smile!!!
Hi Alex, welcome to the world of Babymetal; this is Kawaii metal (Kawaii = cute).
You need to check out their MVs
Doki Doki Morning
Megitsune
Karate
They have already released two albums.
"Being weird is awesome". LOL.
One of their first songs which does very little justice to the group. Listen to the later songs when they got their stuff sorted:
BABYMETAL - DEATH ruclips.net/video/jRc9dbgiBPI/видео.html
BABYMETAL - Rondo Of Nightmare ruclips.net/video/QxYAcIyk2Co/видео.html
BABYMETAL - CATCH ME IF YOU CAN ruclips.net/video/VANhYO1TLno/видео.html
BABYMETAL - Onedari Daisakusen ruclips.net/video/VQ9qBj_KqR8/видео.html
BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance ruclips.net/video/zTEYUFgLveY/видео.html
BABYMETAL - HEADBANGER ruclips.net/video/I2vuKOmd1js/видео.html
And many, many more that i can`t list here (there are quite a few of their songs blocked on youtube; copyrights i guess)
I think they are absolutely amazing considering their age (started when they were 11 and 13), the genre, the heavily male dominated market.
Alice In Chains - Bleed The Freak
Yeah, something more adult oriented after this.
Love hate love!!!!
Junk head
In a land where every school kid is either piloting mechs, harbouring super abilities or at night defending society from demons. Japan is just amazing haha
Do Nippon Manjyuu haha xD
Just....no.
Yes! Love that sonf
YES! DO IT! DO IT NOW! :D
Absolutely Ladybaby.
Then some Band Maid.
YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS
Road of resistance by babymetal..you wont regret it...gives me chills everytime...
This band is mixing gender of music like crazy. No rules apply to BABYMETAL. Your first reaction about them is pretty normal as you have probably never heard something like this. But don't be wrong, each ones of their song will surprise you more and more. There are totally unique and this is probably why fans are so addicted to them and deeply love them. You jusdt scracth the surface of this band, you have so much to discover yet. As it is often said, they really shine in live (this one was live footage other studio sound) , but the MV are good too. my recommandations for the next to react are these:
For a more intense and strong live performance : ruclips.net/video/zTEYUFgLveY/видео.html (Road of resistance Live in Japan Official)
If you like the "weird" side if "Gimme Choco", and want more this kind of mix of pop and metal: ruclips.net/video/VKMd0IFQdAA/видео.html (Doki Doki morning Live at budokan) or the MV (ruclips.net/video/4QbAXXXOJF8/видео.html) (The live is far better imo)
For a solid song more recent and mature: ruclips.net/video/qXF94RGYEmw/видео.html (Karate Live at Download UK Festival) or the MV (ruclips.net/video/GvD3CHA48pA/видео.html)
I would definitely say one of the things Babymetal does is basically say: no more pigeonholing. This might go against what some of the more purist fans of metal would want.
GrenKutz they took jpop and added rock elements...... Not Metal....... Just fucking rock music
autohmae babymetal never was metal so how can it be?
Actually, basically everyone online or in the real world who I've seen or spoken to who says they are a metalhead says a large part of the instruments of most Babymetal songs is metal.
Agreed, this does not make Babymetal metal. They also never claimed to be, they claim to combine 2 things. A part of Japanese culture and metal music.
No there are not obviously ruclips.net/video/jRc9dbgiBPI/видео.html
Love Baby Metal!
Oh boy here we go!!
Please react to Nocturnal Bloodlust - GENESIS (japan metal band)
Babymetal is not heavy metal but a thrash metal band categorized as Sumetal.
02:32 ok this is the time🤦😂😂😂🤘🤘
Its adorable thats how it blends
This one is sorta gimmicky. Check out Headbanger, and really anything else from them.
I like how you're still enjoying yourself even though you don't know wtf is going on... haha!!!
As long as I see more babymetal, ill keep subbing. There are songs that will blow your mind in their catalogue. Check out more. and if you do, react to live shows before the babymetal videos.
The only exception to the live-versions is iine. In my opinion the MV from iine is much better than the live-version of it.
BABYMETAL - いいね!- Iine! (OFFICIAL)
ruclips.net/video/qVdBBOpSoN4/видео.html
Merigold that is completely false. And that song is one of their weakest. Plus theV has the dumb rap part they don't even perform anymore.
well ehmm it's not completely false it's just his opinion xD, i do like live versions more than the MV tho
As far as live vs studio, it’s one of the few I’d go Official (&the first, “doki doki morning”, & Megitsune & the One)And it was one of those indie ones, when they were still babies and trying different blends, yeah, huge wtf factor. Not the best, but the weirdest
Justin Bowe babymetal in s not real metal...... Wikipedia is bullshitting you on that
Alex,
It’s odd to think this was your channel just a few short months ago. I remember watching this alongside you on with the same mix of cringe and enjoyment. The Jinjer video had me flabbergasted right alongside you as well.
This is just a few of the reasons why I still watch the channel (the main two reasons are your genuine excitement to hear new music and your want to expand your musical horizons). Another suggestion for your content:
Feel free to suggest hip hop songs with a good message and clean lyrical/musical content. I’m not a fan of that genre and most rap because the message is too superficial and boorish, but I’m willing to listen to some suggestions from a person that genuinely seems to enjoy music.
Keep up the great work and well done on your continuing success! Be wary of burning out. Make sure to stay healthy and happy. Peace out brother man.
Actually try megitsune music video. The video is good
Edward Ryan thank you! lol
Yeet!!! I was just about to comment on your recent video to react to them. I am a little new to this channel so I didn’t know you already did them; I totally just subscribed straight away as soon as I saw this vid
i kinda like it .. but at the same time WHAT DA PAK AM I WATCHING DUDE ..??!!!
edit: blehhh !!! nice 👌
We need them at a Superbowl halftime show if they haven't already, and if they did, do it again.
